  1. And to add the Chuck P discussion, I started reading Survivor last week while sick. Haven't gotten very far, but wanted to add that, seeing that everyone else has been reading his things lately.
  2. Jesus Christ, I can't take any more of that shit. Cutler and the gang are going to be the death of me. Let's work on that D this week in practice though, eh, Mike?
  3. Shanahan is going to give me a fucking heart attack this year. I just know it. God bless lil' Eddie Royal.
  4. And Denver has put up 31 in the first half. I haven't seen them with this type of offensive output in a long time. Makes me very excited for the rest of the season, that's for sure.
  5. So then the question becomes, will the BCS rank a two-loss SEC team over the one-loss Ohio State team? That is to say OSU wins out and some SEC can't run the table or finish with just one loss.
  6. At least it didn't take all the way until the National Championship for the whole country to see how overrated Ohio State is this year.
  7. I'll never turn down the opportunity for more Erin Andrews on my screen.
  8. Sorry, folks, DMN has given up on football this year what with the Raiders and UCLA solid showing against BYU. Poor guy. You know he's looking forward to basketball season now. Sorry, DMN, you know I'm a Bronco fan and I hadn't said anything up until this point. ({)
  9. My Blue Hens held Maryland to 14 points in the whole game. Clearly, UD's defense is better than Cal's defense. Clairely.
  10. That's horrible logic. If he gets traded, he (in most cases) has no choice in the decision. He went out and changed his last name, on his own. He SHOULD have to buy back those jerseys, because it's not fair for Reebok to have to eat their money, because this fool wants more media attention.
  11. I'll be getting NHL 09 within the next week. So when I do, I'd like to be on the team. I plan on being a goalie.
  12. Awesome comeback from ECU there. And now, to watch Delaware beat Maryland.
  13. I, too, have had a few blatantly obvious challenges called wrong after review. Lame.
  14. Didn't feel like reading through everyone's play by play of their games and "if anyone is game, get on", to see if I could find it. (Frankie says) Relax.
  15. If only that had been a twelve pointer, you guy's would've won too!
  16. So what's this WR Direct Snap thing? I only play online with people I know, so I have yet to see it.
  17. Well said. You can't take the year off if there is another option, because you're assuming your team is going to be in the same spot next year. If Merriman gets a fourth, fifth, and sixth opinion, and they all say surgery, he should do it. But if there is any glint of hope of him playing, he needs to play and go after that championship ring NOW.
  18. I knew it couldn't have just been me. I've been playing these games on Heisman level for as long as I can remember, and I never remember the CPU QB's being so accurate. The CPU QB Accuracy slider doesn't seem to change anything, either. Atleast not lowering it. Maybe I should raise it? Ha. They can't be any more dead on than they already are.
  19. Does the opposing QB ever throw an incompletion on your games? Every fucking game I've played, the other teams QB's throw 90%+ completion percentage. It doesn't matter if I run zone coverage, man to man, whatever. In last year's version, if you had pressure on the QB, he'd throw a fucking interception every time. In this year's version, they did the complete opposite. It seems no matter how much pressure I put on the QB, he throws a perfect pass, every time. It's really annoying that no matter how many times I stop the run on 1st and 2nd downs, they can easily pick up the first down on third and long thanks to a perfect pass. Just wondering if anyone has found a decent slider setting, because I moved it all the way down to ZERO for CPU QB Accuracy, and they still hit over 90% of their passes. Anyone else having this happen?
  20. Didn't you read? I have a "whitey" ass. Weren't you suppose to get the game early, too?
  21. The ghetto game store without a sign around 44th and Lancaster, in West Philly, as well. (Y) That actually might be even closer. That should be a couple blocks away from Durham Park and that Cemetery right? Eh, I don't know the landmarks. All I know is if you're heading up Lancaster, it's on the left, and it's past 42nd street. I believe its around 44-46th street. I walked there from a buddy's (40th and Spring Garden, he goes to Penn). Be warned though, it's not that great of a neighborhood over there. I think I got called "whitey" four times in the matter of the five minutes I was there.

  23. If it ends up being as fun as it looks, and being as great as the original could have been, I'm more excited about Head Coach than Madden. Of course I'll be getting both, but I wouldn't be surprised if Head Coach takes up more of my time.
  24. Woah, woah, woah. Wide open? The Vikings have it wrapped up already unless the Packers and Favre make nice, he becomes their starter again and they play as well as last year which is unlikely. The Pack have enough to go .500 or so but not much more, while the Lions haven't done anything to convince me they can be better than last year and the Bears still have questionable QB & WR situations, a question mark over the running back spot and a defense that relies on one injury-prone player being healthy. The Vikings have a great running game, an improving passing game and one of the better defenses in the NFL. They're two or three games ahead of every other team in the North. Agreed. If Favre leaves Green Bay, the North is the Vikings for the losing. The Bears have questions at QB and WR AND RB, being that they're putting hoping that their rookie will not "Cedric" it. The Lions are such a huge question mark the last few seasons, but odds are they'll not finish better than 9-7. Green Bay, as someone said will probably do 8-8 with Rodgers, but can't be expected to do much more.
  25. For those still out of the loop, Brett Favre has been reinstated and was at Packer training camp today. Team officials are saying its an open quarterback competition between he and Aaron Rodgers.
