I'm American and completely new to Football Manager. I got reading this thread and the game sounded pretty badass, so I went ahead and downloaded the demo. I just have a few questions, maybe some of you can help me out. I started the game unemployed, seeing that I thought it'd be a little bit more realistic than having some American with crappy coaching stats just randomly take over Arsenal or Chelsea. So when I go to the Job Center (or Centre ) I see job openings for Scouts, Assistant Coaches, Goalkeeping coach, what have you. Now, in the demo, I can only apply for Managerial positions. Is that how it is in the full version as well? I know its called Football MANAGER, but I actually wanted to start off with a less important job, sort of a way to get a feel for the game. It's no big deal, seeing that it's just a demo and I'm sure I'll be fine once I get the hang of it. But I thought I'd ask. Also, and don't "boo" me for this, but is the MLS available in the full version? In the demo I have to work with English teams. But if I were to buy this, I think I'd like to start off by bringing in a bunch of foreigners to make a kick ass MLS team.

This is bullshit. I've always wanted to play this series and my PS2 crapped out on me just last week. Lame. I'm going to avoid this thread so my sorry ass doesn't go out and buy a used PS2 just for this one game.

I loved the short story and in all honesty, as a very strict movie critic, I loved it. They took a great story (what King created) and built off it perfectly. Two thumbs way up. First scary movie I have seen in a looooooong time that actually made me jump. And I jumped more than once. (Y) (Y)

What did everyone in the world have to blame for the violence pre-video games?

I work at Gamestop and we've literally had ATLEAST twenty PS3's sitting in the back just waiting to be bought for months. It's 200-300 bucks more for something that, in my eyes, isn't all that its cracked up to be.
