  1. Hey, submit your new caption to me anytime through PM.

tougie submmitted his, as soon as I get yours we can begin with the final polls

  2. ANYTHING'S POSSI- O wait..

  3. Pfft, Scorpion > Johnny Cage Anyone who thinks the most important person in the whole Mortal Kombat universe is anyone but Sub Zero is a fool! A FOOL I SAY! Saying that though, those were five hundred dollar sunglasses... Well which Sub-Zero are we talking about here? Mask wearing Sub-Zero? Or his less cool maskless brother who was picked less than Noob Saibot in the video games?
  4. Fuck these fuckers. Billy Madison was awesome. How can you have that on the list and not that awful excuse for a Dragon Ball Z movie.
  5. Nothing wrong with expansion/swapping, but, hopefully this doesn't mean some of the established rivalries get thrown out of the window.
  6. Neither technical should have never been called, as most experts and fans have already said. Although Kendrick Perkins acts like he never commits a foul, ever. This guy mouths off to the refs more than Rasheed Wallace and frankly I think they're sick of it. He's not a superstar, he shouldn't get fouls called his way, nor should he get the benefit of the doubt on calls. He's an average player with decent low post defense. Although like I said, the officiating in that game was horrid, both technical calls were uncalled for.
  7. Forgot all about Haynesworth this year. Not surprising seeing as how he did close to nothing with a close to nothing team. Was sure Locker was coming out, but I just searched and he is staying. Now that I look at it from your perspective, Clausen does look like the only QB coming out this year as a legit NFL QB, although Snead from Ole Miss could be a good sleeper pick.
  8. Iv'e never been a fan of drafting defense at number 1. Especially a defensive tackle. It makes sense for him to dominate these college lineman, but who really expects him to do that in the NFL. Has there been a dominate DT in the NFL since Warren Sapp? If I were the Rams, i'd been looking at Jake Locker, Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy and Jimmy Clausen with that first pick because to be frank, Marc Bulger is done.
  9. LeBron would never want to play for the Thunder. James's fascination with the NY area will have him going to the Knicks or the NJ Nets. And that's only IF he even wants to leave Cleveland. I could never see him going to OKC no matter how good Kevin Durant is.
  10. I said good for Josh Cribbs. He'll cash in big with a better team. Although iv'e read he wants to be a Brown for life. I could see him becoming a Steeler who desperately need some help on the special teams side of the ball. Or maybe a team like Miami to further there wildcat. Edit: also, anyone think with Charlie Weiss becoming the new O-Coordinator of the Cheifs, they actually pull the trigger and draft Jimmy Clausen to backup Cassel?
  11. Wildcard Round NY Jets At. Cincinnati Bengals Philedelphia At. Dallas Baltimore At. New England Green Bay At. Arizona ================================================ Divisional Round Green Bay At. New Orleans Cincinnati At. Indianapolis Dallas At. Minnesota ]New England At. San Diego ================================================ Conference Championships New Orleans At. Dallas San Diego At. Indianapolis ================================================ SUPER BOWL San Diego Vs. New Orleans Wildcard round was pretty easy to predict. Carson and the boys are going to take that thrashing by the Jets personal from last week, and in the memory of Chris Henry, lay the smackdown on the Jets. Dallas beats Philly for the third time this year. Yeah, I said it, three times. It's the Boys year and they're not backing down. I just can't bet against Tom Brady in this one against the Ravens. The Ravens offense showed me they weren't up to par last week against a lack luster Raiders team. Arizona is suspect, and with no Aquan Boldin I think Aaron Rodgers finally has his coming out party. Divisional Round was much easier to predict. New Orleans and Indy are much to strong for there wild card winning opponents. While I wanted to go for Brett Favre climbing the mountain once more, the Boys are peaking at the right time while the Vikes are fading down the stretch. Granted, they just beat the Giants, but then again, who can't now a days? San Diego is too good for anyone these days. With the loss of Wes Welker and an already suspect defense, the Pats won't stick around with the Bolts for too long. While I want to predict a defensive battle for the Saints and Boys in the NFC title game, I just can't. The Cowboys backfield is amazingly suspect and I think Drew Brees is going to tare them apart, piece by piece. Look for Tony Romo to have a good game too, but a few good plays by Darren Sharper should seal the win for the Saints. I also look for the Chargers to out the Colts for the third year in a row. They're just too good, there is no way I can bet against them in any game. The Superbowl. Drew Brees against his old team. The team that thought he was washed up and so they let him go in favor of Rivers. Well it seems like it's going to work out well for both teams as they will meet in the Superbowl this year. San Diego is just good on too many fronts and a dwindling L.T. will finally get his ring, and Phillip Rivers will solidify himself as a top tier QB in the NFL for years to come.
  12. Durant is finally coming into his own and I love it. Watching him develop has been a fantastic journey. While he's not quite in the top 3-5 in the NBA yet, he's cracked the top 10. Watch out for him and Russell Westbrook to carry that Thunder team for a long time. If only they could solidify a big man in the next couple years and they could be REALLY dangerous.
  13. Since no one has replied in this thread in over a month, I'll figure that no one likes the NBA anymore. With that said, how much of an idiot can one Gilbert Arenas be? The face of the Washington franchise, one of the biggest contracts in the entire NBA and you bring not one gun, but THREE guns into your teams locker room? This guy must really have no shame and think he is above and beyond any other player in the NBA. I could deal with his previous antics like ball hogging, thinking he's god's gift to the NBA, when in reality he's a close second best player on his own team. After seeing what happened to Plaxico Burress last year, wouldn't you think these sports stars would have learned there lesson?. Granted, he says the guns weren't loaded, and he says he didn't pull them on fellow team mate Javaris Crittenton, but, knowing David Sterns strict policy on violence, This won't go well on Gilbert. He truly defined himself as being "Agent 0"
  14. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put music in porno was sadly mistaken

  16. I own Madonna's Music album. I don't see a problem with that. Edit: In fact, I think i'll go listen to it right now.
  17. The problem with the RB1/Rb2 feature is EA set up RB2 as the fullback. It makes no absolute sense at all. Which is why you see some FB's getting insane amounts of carries each season. So to counter this problem, just go to the depth chart and put your number to RB to FB
  18. Try football mogul like ruckus said. Although this years version is cluttered with game killing bugs. Or you can try some of the Front Office Football series
  19. Anyone looking to play a game of MLB 2k7 or NCAA 08?. Pretty bored with nothing to do
  20. My gamertag would be Sagsama911, i currently play MLB2k7 Gears Of War NCAA Football 08 Madden 08 Fight Night Round 3 NHL 07 NHL 2k7
  21. It's basically you take control of the goalie in third person view, similar to what 2k had last year with crease control. Except think of the two analog sticks being your body.. Awesome feature
  22. In my opinion, after reading previews for both games i would say that i am very impressed with the strides that both EA and 2K have made with there hockey franchises. Here is a quick rundown of improvements of both games. NHL 08 * Improved Gameplay: With the new addition of the playbook creator, and the improved defensive A.I. this game plays like NHL hockey more than ever before. Teams adjust to your schemes, which means you must exploit there defense with new plays, line mix ups and strategy like never before * Franchise Mode: With the addition of a longer franchise( Last year only 10 years). And the addition of the AHL leauge, which means you can call up and send down players to the minor leauge just like in real life. BTW you can also play as the AHL teams which is a nice added bonus. * Real NHL Look: Of course EA brings back great graphics to the table, but with so many different types of skates, sticks, goalie equipment and player gear, along with the new NHL jerseys, (some players even wear there jerseys tucked in!) Create a player and team have been revamped also, making it the most deepest ever. NHL 2K8 *Improved Graphics: Finnaly, 2K sports goes next gen with the graphics!. 2K sports has never looked so good on the Xbox 360 and PS3(Sorry current gen owners, still the same). With 2k signature style, almost every player has been face mapped to there exact likeliness, players have there signature skates, jersey type, sticks, helmets, goalie gear and much more! *Gameplay: 2K returns with more great realistic gameplay, this time finnaly adding Special moves!!!. Adding moves like Sweden 94, batters up and much more this looks like the most exciting 2k hockey game ever. *Franchise Mode: Realistic salary cap features, player negotiations actually is a tug of war battle featuring you, the player, your owner and the players agent. Player progression and player types have been tottaly revamped. Ice time, chemistry, awards, performance and winning now all factor into player development to determine what type of player you will get. All in all both games look great, which are you most excited for?
