  1. I really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't the best one, but it was better than Signs. The twist wasn't what I expected from MNS, but I enjoyed it far more than I would have enjoyed a real monster. I also liked the twist of our protagonist characters in teh middle of the movie, as Joaquin took a backseat for the second half. That was a fresh movie twist.
  2. Just wait until next month, and pick up Predator: Concrete Jungle.
  3. Exactly. I LOVED the DotD remake. It was fun, true to the original, and still had a new-age feel to it... plus, Richard Cheese singing Down With The Sickness while they were picking off Zombies from the roof...that had me laughing so fucking hard.
  4. From what I've heard, the mainstream Kane, is more of a Country Pop sound...whereas Christian Kane is more of a Bluesy, Country Rock.
  5. That's a completely different band. KANE (Christian Kane) only has one CD. And it's only available through their website, via PayPal. Kane (the other band) has a shitload of albums out...none of which I want.
  6. Lots of people liked them. Personally, I enjoyed the second one with Vincent Perez, but the third one sucked, and Eric Mabius just isn't a very good Crow...not that Edward Furlong will be much more believable...but at least Boreanaz has a cool character in this film.
  7. Yeah, but Wicked Prayer comes out sometime this year or early next year, and therefore, will be the ultimate test of whether or not he can cut it in movies. And since it is a Crow film, expect the fans to either love him, or tear him apart after seeing it.
  8. He's got Wicked Prayer coming out soon, and if he does well in the movie, should be set for the rest of his career as a Feature Film Actor. However, if he does not get a good reception from fans of the film, you can expect to see him back in Angel's shoes shortly thereafter.
  9. They better organize something...to give Angel a real farewell. The finale was great, but it was rushed, and that means that it could have been way better than it was. I hope that Joss gets the chance to end Angel on his terms.
  10. Weapon of Choice, by Fatboy Slim. Awesome video.
  11. Don't know what show you were watching..but there was only one "teen vampire" IIRC, and that was Harmony, who wasn't exactly a serious character to begin with. And that's your opinion, that better shows have been cancelled...but I, and the many others (enough to get WB regretting their decision)... believe otherwise. If you're allowed to have your opinion, then we're allowed to have ours. Besides... the "bickering" we've been doing has gotten to someone, because the higher ups in the WB are regretting the decision now. So we obviously have some pull.
  12. I guess someone doesn't understand the concept of Fan Loyalty. Angel is a cult favorite, and will continue to be so. Much like Buffy, and much like Family Guy. The legend of Angel will never die, no matter what. Besides...the fans that were targeted for Angel, are the ones who actually have attention spans..because if you didn't, you couldn't get into the show, because every episode is purposeful in relation to the other episodes...so missing one show could completely throw a viewer off of what's going on.
  13. I liked Gigli...I went in expecting the worst movie ever, and came out thinking it was much better than that. Worst Movie I've Ever Seen (personal opinion): 8 Mile.
  14. Angel. I watched WB for Angel...that is, until it started to show new episodes on Space, at which time, I got rid of the Digital Cable...cuz I didn't need the extra channels anymore, because Angel was on a regular cable channel.
  15. So, I went to my local record stores yesterday and had a looksie... they can't even bring the CD (KANE) in. You have to order it from their website, and even then, they only accept PayPal...so I'm screwed... unless someone wants to buy me a present
  16. God, I thought I was the only one who really didn't like Connor. I just really didn't seem to see a need for him to be there. He shouldn't have been a permanent character...he should have been a temporary storyline.
  17. That's bologna. How is it that the craptacular Enterprise snagged 4 nominations, and the best fucking year of Angel (Season Five) didn't even get one? Joss keeps getting shafted when it comes to Angel. Buffy was long-overdue for a deadening...but Angel still had at least three more seasons left in it. Bull-o-nee.
  18. I can see it now: Lindsey McDonald...Lawyer with a Soul. :thumbs-up:
  19. I just love how when shit hits the fan, they expect us to feel bad for them. They shouldn't have cancelled the show in the first place, as it was a big ratings grabber for them, and brought in an audience that didn't consist entirely of nit-wits or extremists of one kind *cough*religion*cough*afro-american*cough*angry white trash*cough* I'd go as far as saying that Angel was the one show on the WB Network that could bring in fans of all kinds, and not just one kind. Angel should have been the Franchise of the network...not the filler of the network. The same people tune in to watch Seventh Heaven every week...but they'll never get viewers from any other demographic. Angel brought viewers from EVERY demographic. I hope this turns out like another Family Guy case, where the series is renewed or continued in some way after they realize how moronic of a decision they made in cancelling the show in the first place. I can't argue with Boreanaz about not wanting to return to the role in a TV movie. If Angel returns, it needs to be a strong return. Either a feature length movie, or just the return of the series. With that said, I don't think Boreanaz is up for returning to the series...and so, I believe that they should just take any cast members who'd like to return, and build a show around one of the stronger characters. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to come up with a way to make a series about Lindsey McDonald, who was, undoubtebly, the single most kickass antagonist on the show, bar none... but still had the hint of virtue in him. Why not find a way to make him live through/past his gunshot wound from *ahem* and then continue from there? Maybe explain that Angel and co. were killed in the battle, and that the Powers That Be spared Lindsey's life in exchange for his service, as the world is rebuilt from the failed apocalypse. Lindsey > * except Angel.
  20. Great line... Darla: Why do you always shower when you come home from that place? You're never dirty. Lindsey: I'm always dirty...
  21. Why yes he is... and yes he does. I was blown away with his performance for Lorne, which is why I asked about his band.
  22. I just thought I'd make this topic for a couple of reasons... 1. He's sexy... 2. I was wondering what the rest of EWB thought of his character (Lindsey) on the tv series Angel. Personally, I believe he was the strongest character on the show (aside from Angel), and could possibly have been even stronger a character, had he been more consistently prominent in the storylines. 3. Has anyone heard his band KANE? I think I may go pick up the CD tomorrow, but I've never heard them, and was wondering what those of you who have, may think.
  23. Spider-Man 2 : 8/10 Better than the first movie, but lacking that special something that made me love Spider-Man... Molina did a good job as Dr. Octopus, but he just didn't seem as evil as Otto Octavious should be. I'm now anxiously awaiting the third movie and the return of a really evil antagonist for Spidey to do battle with.
  24. Terminator III: 2/10 It really wasn't very good...in fact, it was so not good, that I regret spending the $2 to rent it, when I could have grabbed something else. The movie was boring, and the action scenes were just okay.
  25. AFI - 53 Songs minus Sing The Sorrow, which I removed from my comp after purchase.
