EuroTrip : 5/10 -Way too many boobs and schlongs, not enough actual humor. While I did find the movie funny at times, the inclusion of a sausage-fest and the over-use of female breasts brought this movie WAY down. 50 First Dates : 8/10 -Feel good romantic comedy. All of Adam Sandler's usual cronies appear in the film, and every one of them made me laugh. Drew Barrymore did a good job again with Sandler as her on-screen romantic interest, and I'm kicking myself for watching EuroTrip with my girlfriend instead of 50 First Dates.

I'm looking forward to it, mostly because it will spawn off a new series of Nightstalkers movies (and Reynolds as Hannibal King = Gold)... which will probably be better than Blade, and also more enjoyable to work on, as many people have expressed annoyance with Wesley Snipes.

I want the WHA to succeed, if only to give us an alternative league to the money-hungry NHL. I love the NHL, but it will be nice to have teams of similar calibre on TV with Team Payrolls that are just above what a lot of players make by themselves in the NHL.

Purchased the disc yesterday, and I absolutely fucking love it. There's no Sex Pistols cover song on the CD... if you have it, it probably isn't even VR. Off the top of my head, my favorite songs so far are: Set Me Free, Slither, Loving The Alien, Fall to Pieces and Dirty Little Thing. Oh, and I also purchased Draghdad by Out of Your Mouth... at $12.99, Draghdad has, thus far, been a real bargain, and kickass CD.

Same, I figure that when I get the chance to be a Senior Staff Member, I'll just randomly burn songs onto a disc once every week (while making sure there aren't any cuss words, being that it is a public store.) Love my playlist though...I've still got stuff from Tripping Daisy...lol

I have to listen to it, because it's what gets played at work, and until I'm the senior member of staff on the shift, it will continue to be played... they just stopped playing Nelly a couple months ago, and now this shit is coming out... The radio stations here all play what's "popular" for about 5-8 months, and then you never hear it again.

I don't mind. I kinda like Matt Good... but back on topic, you can listen to the full album of Contraband online at MTV.com and VH1.com I enjoyed what I heard, but it didn't exactly "blow me away"... in fact, it kinda reminded me of a slightly heavier version of the Stone Temple Pilots CD that I bought last paycheck. I will still get the CD, but I'll probably pick up another one off of my list as well.

Mystic River 9.5/10 Awesome movie. A bit slow in parts, but the story was spectacular, and the acting made it just that much better. I'm still pissed that Penn got the nod over Depp for Best Actor at the Academy Awards, but I'm not as pissed as I was.

I've paid up to $35 Canadian dollars for a CD. Normally, I won't spend more than $15 on a disc, unless of course I've been anticipating one for awhile, as will be the case with Contrabond (which I'll be paying about $20 for, once taxes hit me.) I like enough old music, and popular music, that I can usually get stuff that I want for anywhere from $5.99-$10.99

If I likied Slither and Set Me Free, will I enjoy the rest of the album?

Never heard of it... doesn't have anything I know on it...would probably be a waste of my money. I was asking about Contraband, because I have heard two of the songs on the disc, and know that I like the sound of those two songs, but don't know if the rest of the album follows suit.

White Light Rock? ... Roll Review?...

Well, the disc comes out today, and I know that at least one person here at the EWB will be getting it, so I thought I would post the topic that everyone has been waiting for... Is the CD worth the $15-$20 that I would pay for it? I've heard Slither and Set Me Free by VR, and I absolutely love both tracks. EDIT: The CD will be $15.99 here, I get paid on Friday, and I buy one CD every paycheck (every two weeks) I just want your opinions on whether or not it's worth it.

Shrek 2: 7.5/10 -It was good, better than the first movie in my opinion, but I missed some of it because I was on a date, so I'll have to watch it again. Orgazmo: 8/10 -Nothing better than good old fashioned religious fun-poking...except religious fun-poking with perverse jokes and a look inside the porno business added in. Orgazmo is hilarious, and I love it even more every time I see it.

Stillman wasn't dressed because Torterella knew that there would be a backlash because of the Nieminen suspension, and is also smart enough to know that Stillman would have been the #1 target.

Again, I was pissed with the officiating, but I was so freakin' happy with the result. 3-2 Calgary, Game 6 at home... How sweet it would be.

There's no denying the fact that hockey in Canada > hockey in America. But that's why the league has been so shitty with officiating when involved with Canadian teams... I mean, how would it draw in American viewers, if the top team in the league was from Canada? It's a conspiracy.

It was absolute bullshit that Nieminen was suspended for his hit, and Stillman wasn't. Complete and utter BULLSHIT. And then Bettman had the nerve to tell Sutter that his comments were unnecessary...bullshit. The referees aren't calling the games properly and players are getting hurt. Marcus Nilson was hurt more than Lecavalier was, but because Vincent is a "star player" and also on an American team, the NHL board took action against Calgary's Nieminen...bullshit.
