You've got a good point but you may have missed mine. For every American Idol and The Swan that comes along, 40 other crappier ones come. The only other networks with crappy reality shows is NBC and The WB (For Love or Money, Average Joe, Race To The Altar, etc.). The only one I like is Fear Factor, of course. ABC has done some crap too but they've stopped it. CBS has steered clear except for that crappy Cupid show and at least their reality shows have been good (Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race). How about we just ban new reality shows from happening ever again?

I thought Sonic 3D Blast was pretty good but it was nothing compared to the 2D side-scrolling games. I can't speak for the new generation games (the ones for Dreamcast and the next-gen systems) because I haven't played them.

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (GEN) 8/10 Take Puyo Puyo and add the STH TV show characters and you have this game. This is an addicting puzzle game but it is hard. NBA Street Vol. 2 (GCN) 9/10 The best basketball arcade game since NBA Jam. Period. Hardball '95 (GEN) 7/10 The only game I know of from the 16 bit era with a team editor.

Am I wrong or this possibly the best 16-bit game series ever? This game has the best music, design, and gameplay, IMO, in the 16-bit era and is single handedly the reason why I play the Genesis (although, I did want to play College Football USA '96, but that's only because I'm too cheap to buy NCAA Football). Anyways, my favorite in the series is Sonic 2. It kinda holds symbolism for me as it is the first game I ever played and the first game I ever got cheats for (19 65 09 17, baby). Anyways, what are your thoughts on this franchise?

Ahh, I'll ad a few more games I've played in the past few days: Madden NFL 2004 (GCN) 9.5/10 Despite the screwy AI at times, the sheer massiveness of Owner Mode almost entirely makes up for it. NBA Jam T.E. (GEN) 8/10 It's exactly the same as the original Jam but since I don't have that than this is the awesome game. Hollywood Mogul (PC) 9.5/10 Highly addictive and of course I have to play it if I want to continue the GRP diary.

All my games here are old school Genesis titles: Sonic 2 10/10 - Old-school Genesis games like this rock. College Football USA '96 7/10 - Being able to rock as Bama and rise Vandy from the ashes overcomes the cheating comeback AI. Sonic 3 & Knuckles 10/10 - Combining Sonic 3 and Sonic Knuckles equals a title close to beating Sonic 2 as the best Sonic game ever, IMO. NFL Quarterback Club '96 7.5/10 - Back before Acclaim sucked. Barkley's Shut Up and Jam 2 4/10 - Poor attempt at a street ball game. EDIT: Switched the spots so the list come up on the first post.
