  1. I've stuck with Sony since the original Playstation and this time will be no different. I'm not big on the price, but oh well, I'll be picking it up when it comes out.
  2. The Julianna Theory was the first band I'd ever heard called "Emo" but then again I've never been much for labels...but I'd suggest them...
  3. AHAHAHAHAHA I love the fact that Ottawa has choked. And even though I'm Canadian, my favourite team is Colorado, but I've been damn impressed with Buffalo during these play offs. I mentioned to my brother tonight that I think it would be funny as hell for a second round sweep of all four series.
  4. I only like a couple songs by Metallica...really dislike David Grohl...and have everything by Our Lady Peace cause they are my favourite band. Just for my own taste I'll add a couple that I think. Marilyn Manson-Holy Wood Cannibal Corpse-Kill Anything by Chimaira
  5. What are some current cd's that you've listened to and thought "There isn't a bad song on this cd"? I'm looking for cd's to get but I'm looking for reccomendations. I like any kind of music.
  6. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Californication Our Lady Peace- Innocent, Is Anybody Home? (hell, all of them)
  7. Shinedown-Save Me, I Dare You Our Lady Peace-Don't Stop
  8. I started saving these before I realized Kody's aren't named to fit the TEW name scheme.
  9. Thats exactly what I was trying to convey (poorly, though it was) in my earlier post on the graphic. I wasn't saying it was bad, on the contrary, I loved the simplicity and crispness of it but if I didn't know who Atari was and I was looking through my favorite music store its not something I would be compelled to listen to or pick up. Great work by both guys though and I could tell this was gonna be just that close. I don't know whether I'm understanding you two right, but you make it sound like somebody would go to a music shop and buy a CD based on the cover design. Who would do that? :ohwell: Actually, if I'm in the market for new music then I'll do just that. I go into a cd store, look through the shelves and hope a cd cover grabs my eye. My usual thought is "Damn, that's creative, I wonder if the music is as creative." Unfortunately that sometimes gets me in trouble. With that said, I'd actually have both either of these albums at first glance, so either of them could have pulled it off. Congrats FSF
  10. Since when did empty space count against a movie posters...have you seen some of the movie posters out there.....Hell, there are a lot of posters that simply have a symbol or logo, simply to not give away much. XG's could have been grungier but as has already been stated, the simplicity worked for the "SAW" franchise.
  11. Seeing as the prices are going down, is this worth buying? The only thing I can think that's out on it worth getting are SD vs Raw simply for the chance to get Jake Roberts.
  12. I'm with everyone on the James Blunt love...and Westlife's new one as well.
  13. Looking between the two of them, I'm going to have to go with Xero Gravity. For some reason I don't like the intense red on Cole's, and I really like the big side pic of Eddie's head on Xero's. Not to mention I think that it would be the type of thing that WWE would be going for in this regard.
  14. I like pretty much everything except death metal and really heavy stuff. I'm looking at the more mellow rock or rap.
  15. Suspect Zero-8/10-Loved the concept and Ben Kingsley is godlike. Hostage-6/10-Love Willis but this was too much like Die Hard Sin City-9.5/10-This movie was god-like and there were a lot of good quotes. Only bad thing was that some of the quotes were kind of dumb. White Noise-8/10-I liked it, but I can't really explain why.

    Book Thread

Last book I read was called Honeymoon by James Patterson. Love his books for the sheer twists and turns he adds into them.
  17. I've found myself listening to the same things every day and my music tastes seem to be dwindling as of late, so I'm looking to try something new. Can we make a list of music that I should check out.
  18. This is a banner I use for an efed and such. Ratage?
  19. also quite small since it doesn't even fit the entire nWo logo in.
  20. A bit too much open space for me but I love everything else, specially the reflections in his eyes.
  21. I like the "One Night Stand" text actually but I don't think the same text goes for the words at the bottom. Background needs work, try brushes and such. I actually like the Heyman fade but think it would look better with another background. And the Rhyno/RVD cuts don't work for me.
  22. Very simple background. Clouds just don't cut it for skill. Anyone can render a few times. Text again is too basic, and doesn't really fit. Have to agree with one of the guys who said that having one in wrestling gear and the other in a suit doesn't work. Small faded cut and the belt seems so out of place. Having both men behind the logo is good but it should be brighter. Also I'm not sure if it's just me but the graphic seems a bit hazy. Not trying to be harsh, just letting you know this doesn't work for me.
  23. What is the size of the loading screens for EWR? I was thinking about making some custom ones but don't know the size
  24. "No! No! No" screamed a frustrated Bobby "The Brain" Heenan as "Mean" Gene Okerlund stood in the center of the ring and welcomed the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion -- "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan amidst a very loud ovation from the fans in the arena. "American Made" played him to the ring, flanked by the ever present "Mouth Of The South" Jimmy Hart who proudly held the "Big Gold" over his shoulder even though it probably outweighed him by about twenty pounds. Okerlund pretty much turned the mic over to Hogan from the beginning and allowed him to thank those who had a part in his victory, the Turner executives who brought him to the dance, and of course the fans who have always believed in Hulkamania. Never one to allow a party to happen without him, the former World Champion Ric Flair makes his way to the ring. "Calm down there big boy" chuckled Flair, "I didn't come for a fight." Instead, to the surprise of everyone and the total exasperation of Heenan on commentary, Flair extended his hand to Hogan offering his own form of congratulations by telling Hogan he's always lived by the code of "To be the best, you have to beat the best", which is exactly what Hogan did at Bash At The Beach. Flair admitted that the two men may not see eye to eye, but on that night, Flair could admit that Hogan was the better man. Before the show of respect could go any further, more music hit to spoil the mood as the new WCW Tag Team Champions, Paul Orndorff and Paul Roma made their way to the ring, scoffing at what they'd just heard. Neither man could believe their ears, and wanted clarification that they had indeed heard the great Nature Boy admit that someone else was the better man. Both members of Pretty Wonderful claim they could have told Flair a long time ago that there were better men than Flair, and men even better than Hogan because two of them stood across from them in the ring on that very night. This sent Flair into a tirade, claiming that Paul Orndorff had his chance years ago to wipe out Hulkamania and yet, here he stood while claiming that Roma had never been good enough to even carry the bags for The Horsemen, declaring him the worst Horseman in the history of the group.
