  1. I've had it for a couple of weeks now. I wasn't a fan of The Game actually, but this cd seemed to be quite good in my opinon.
  2. Kelly Clarkson's on, that's it, my life is complete...
  3. Out of the three, I'd say Clapton. However, my favourite is Slash. Most say he's over rated but I love his stuff.
  4. 1. Kiera Knightley 2. Christina Aguilera 3. Kristen Bell 4. Anna Paquin 5. Kate Beckinsale 6. Alyssa Milano 7. Kelly Clarkson 8. Charisma Carpenter 9. Michelle Trachtenburg 10. Alyson Hannigan Negatives: Can’t think of anyone that I think people would vote for. `
  5. Angel got cancelled after 5, Buffy after 7 and people were still holding campaigns, and circling lists around to be signed. Whedon is an amazing writer, and he seems to be able to add a golden touch to almost everything he...erm..touches.
  6. I just finished getting the Firefly episodes, but I haven't had a chance to watch them. Joss needs a new television series out because since Angel ended, the only thing I've really been able to get into is House. He needs to give me something to watch.
  7. I never liked Incubus until their album "A Crow Left Of Murder" which was chalked full of excellent songs. This one isn't bad as everyone has stated, but nothing can top that album for them.
  8. Nice little shut out for Raycroft in the opening game. Didn't expect them to beat Ottawa that bad.
  9. Well, The Crow is my favourite movie of all time, so the entire movie really, but one of my favourite parts is the end when Eric is fighting Top Dollar, and Top Dollar thinks he has it all won. Eric Draven: I've got something to give you. I don't want it anymore. (Grabs TD with both hands on the head) Thirty Hours of pain....all at once.....all for you.... and then the few clips of Shelly in the hospital room before he lets go and Top Dollar falls, landing on the gargoyle.
  10. Not really. If I find a band I like, I usually buy the cd, because if it happens to be on the radio, then 9 times out of 10, there's other songs on that album that are better then what they're playing on the radio
  11. Yeah, I forgot the shifty smilie after the first line.
  12. Well, Colorado had a nice pre-season game over the Stars, but we all know that doesn't mean much when it comes to the regular season. Brunette and Wolski might be two players to watch for them this year. Brunette's usually quite solid. I forgot that they had gotten Leopold. Hopefully Theodore can have a year like he did awhile back for Montreal.
  13. Hey, I gotta support my team damn it. They made some very bad decisions, but I stand behind them
  14. Clearly, Colorado is taking the cup. I'm one of those damn Canadians cheering for an American team....but damn, in the last two to three years, they have completely gutted everything about Colorado that made them awesome....Blake's gone, Roy retired, Forsbergs gone. I remember swearing when they got rid of Ozolinsh way back then.
  15. Damn, it just clued in to me today at work that the season is getting very close to beginning. I watch all through the season, but for some reason I start out checking the off season happenings, and then forget about it again right up until the season starts, so I have no idea what teams have improved their rosters, and who hasn't. I forfeit my right to be Canadian.
  16. Bikini Kill, and as much as I hate them, Hole
  17. Spiderman 2 was good, not as good as the first in my opinon. K-Pax has Spacey in it, and Spacey rules so it's all good. The third I haven't seen, or even heard of.
  18. There's the Buffy/Angel ones, which people seem to be forgetting about Doyle/Cordelia from the first season. Another one that I loved from Angel was Wesley and Lilah. Such chemistry in the scenes with them in season 4. Then there's house, which I believe Cuddy and House are going to end up together. Just the way they're writing it. Anyone with Dr. House is just great because he plays off them so well. That's all I got for now.
  19. Or no. You're missing a ton of good indy talents both from out west and out east, and you have a whole lot of shit on your list. That last sentence was a joke. I do realise that there are other good bands from Canada, I just listed a bunch of the acts I like. That is the point of this thread, after all. And the only smaller Canadian bands I like/know of are just local bands in Winnipeg(Domenica, Five Hundred Pound Furnace, Pornocracy, The Dust Rhinos, etc.). And who on that list is shitty? Except maybe the newer stuff from Sum 41 and Our Lady Peace. You should burn for that statement alone
  20. Angel-I'm with Tristy on this. They rushed the ending due to WB canceling the show. Whedon said himself that with Buffy they felt like it was over, and that there was nowhere else left to go, but with Angel he felt like they were just hitting their stride and really had a lot more to develop. It was the second highest rated program on their network at the time, so I'm not sure why they pulled it, but ah well. And to make a statement about what Tristy said, Whedon said that the Series Finale ending was a big "Fuck You" to the WB execs who he felt didn't give him enough warning before canning the show. Buffy-SMG pisses me off. Despite what Joss says, I think he would have continued to come up with some great stuff. But noooo, SMG had to decide she didn't want to do it. Instead, she wanted to make movies that didn't go any better. If I were her about now, I'd be crawling back to Joss and asking him to write something just for her. Cause he made her damn it.
  21. I forgot to add Barenaked Ladies to my list.....dunno why but I loves them
  22. I'm not exactly sure the bands that come from Canada, except my favourite band of all time in Our Lady Peace...and do not laugh but I have an unnatural obsession with Avril....
  23. She had a role on Veronica Mars last season.
  24. As was mentioned in the Trailers thread back in July, this movie is extremely cliched, but seeing as it's The Rock in it, I'll probably be watching. Anyone seen the trailers and planning on watching this movie? I've still yet to see Doom, which I was told is only worth it if you like The Rock, but this one looks at least a bit interesting.
