  1. They need to bring out a damn Whose Line Is It Anyway? Best of DVD, for the British one, it'd sell, and it was just legendary. And yeh, I agree that it was better the way the comedians were changed every so often, cept for Ryan Stiles really, as he was always on form.
  2. Bet you were worrying when Bristol went 1-0 up! Cogratulations. You know how much money you'll have to spend next season, if any? You'll definitely need to strengthen your squad. ←
  3. Another good thing about the british Whose Line Is It Anyway?, was we got Stephen Fry on the odd occassion, a rare but funny treat.
  4. Started my game with Liverpool, no matter who I bought and what fomations or players I play, they were shit and we finished 15th, got fired, joined Sheffield Wednesday, got them to the playoffs without spending a penny (got a few free signings like Batistuta, Hierro, Djorkeaff) and finished the season in good fashion as it's show here. Roll on English Championship.
  5. British Whose Line Is It Anyway? > American Whose Line Is It Anyway? For the simple fact of Clive Anderson > Drew Carey
  6. I just remembered the American version of Red Dwarf, oh dear lord, how the Americans love to ruin good comedies...
  7. Red Dwarf rules, the last few series were crap though, it did start to lose it around Series 6/7. I still have both Smeg Up VHS tapes and they rule so much! Some classic quotes which I love: Kryten - "They've taken Mr. Rimmer!" Cat - "Quick lets get out of here before they bring him back!" Rimmer - "I used to be in the Samaritans." Lister - "I know. For one morning." Rimmer - "I couldn't take any more." Lister - "I don't blame you. You spoke to five people and they all committed suicide. I wouldn't mind, but one was a wrong number! He only phoned up for the cricket scores!" Rimmer - " Broadcast on all frequencies and all known languages, including Welsh. "
  8. I've seen both sides of the Atlantics versions, and I think the British one is just so much funnier. I wish they released a DVD of it, it was classic. Does anyone remember Ryan doing the KFC adverts over here for a short while?
  9. At the Porstmouth game a while back, a few guys next to me tried to start a chant that went something like: "Diouf, Diouf, Diouf is on fire, now he plays for Bolton let the mother f**ker burn!" Which I thought was erm, nice?
  10. Hell have no fury for my judging, sorry guys, I'm brutal, but half of them weren't very Christmas Card-esque, some would've got better scores but some stuff just let it down.
  11. Phil's response is probably the most emotional of all. Just the picture and the sentence. Everyone deals with it in their own way, it's hard for him.
  12. Star Wars Battleground - 7/10 It's a pretty funky game.
  13. Simon Pegg is a comical genius, nuff said. Check out "Spaced", "Big Train" & even "The Man Who Thinks He Is It - Alan Partridge Live" (Simon Pegg supports him on it. It's all ace. Shaun of the Dead is still my movie of the year, and the cameo of Matt Lucas, etc, makes it even better. Comical note: Members of the band 80's B-Line Matchbox Disaster play zombies in the film.
  14. I have tickets for: Pitchshifter/Sikth/Minus Lamb of God/Throwdown/As I Lay Dying Machine Head/God Forbid Thus I think I win
  15. Seen TBS three times, they're shit live. Most recently saw them at Leeds Festival, they were awful. Saw Fall Out Boy about 6 months ago, much better live show than TBS.
  16. Yeh, I completed it a while back, I must admit though, the end parts on the hardest setting took me a few hours, it was a bastard to do. Bring on THUG2 with Team Hawk Vs Team Margera, it's looking like a damn good game.
  17. Here's my review of Leeds anyways: Friday Thrice (7/10 Great start to the day, a brutal pit and I organised a Wall of Death which was fucking ace!) The Rasmus (4/10 Meh, they seemed decent enough, I was sat off at the back, but the crowd rushed forward for In The Shadows.) Dropkick Murphys (8/10 Such a great live band, it was ace! And they played Spicey McHaggis's Jig so all was good!) The Streets (4/10 Only saw the end of this set, not too bad even though I'm not a major fan.) Lostprophets (5/10 They seemed decent enough, but way too samey, I wasn't into it at all.) Placebo (3/10 Does nobody understand Placebo are shit?) 50 Cent (2/10 Saw the end of his set, fucking awful.) Supergrass (8/10 Only saw 2 songs, and it was amazing.) Greenday (6/10 Great gig, it would have scored higher, but it's the exact same set they played 4 years ago almost.) Mike Patton Vs Rahzel (7/10 I caught the last 20 minutes of this, it was pretty darn good.) Saturday Goldie Lookin Chain (2/10 Only saw the end of the set, it wasn't funny in the slightest.) Taking Back Sunday (2/10 TBS have now proved how fucking shit they are live, 2nd time I've seen them, awful.) Reel Big Fish (8/10 Ain't seen them live for 3 years, and they were still as good as last time I saw them. They did a wicked cover of Enter Sandman.) Modest Mouse (7/10 Sadly only caught one song, but they were sounding as good as they did when I saw them a few months ago in Manchester.) The Donnas (3/10 Generic rock band but with females, borefest. I left half way through to go the comedy tent.) The Hives (7/10 Now, I'm not a Hives fan, but they were great, and the lead singer was damn funny.) Soulwax (10/10 Amazing is the only word to describe them.) The Offspring (6/10 Much better than when I saw them at MEN, but still nothing special from em.) Sunday The 5, 6, 7, 8's (1/10 Horrid.) The Holiday Plan (3/10 Weren't too bad, only saw a few songs by them.) Bloc Party (7/10 Pretty good band live, never heard of them before until Steph mentioned them to me that day, I was impressed.) Alexisonfire (8/10 Great live set, and they finished on 44. Caliber Love Letter, so I was happy.) The Bronx (7/10 Caught the end of their set, sounded pretty darn good.) Dillinger Escape Plan (11/10 THE band of the festival for me. I was hyped to see them, and I wasn't disappointed. Fucking amazing.) Morrissey (10/10 Not really being a Morrissey or Smith's fan, I was blown away by him, it was a true professional performance by him.) Sick of It All (7/10 Caught the last 2 songs, but they were ace.)
  18. There we go, it's Science based, as it's Sci-Fi B-Movie It's kinda shit, but meh. And before you ask, it should say Robotos!!
  19. Greenday played the same set they played 4 years ago, with the exception of American Idiot.
  20. We heard it was pretty bad at Reading weather wise, as in lots of rain. The sun was cracking the flags for the majority of the time at Leeds, a little rain yesterday, that was it. I reckon Morrissey should have headlined last night, he was amazing at Leeds. Although Dillinger Escape Plan got band of the festival for me, they had their set cut short because they made kids climb the tent columns. I managed to get organise a Wall of Death during Thrice too which was ace.
