Arma 3 is extremely unforgiving.

I picked up 2 to try multiplayer and because I assumed the campaign would be more sandboxy like in 1.  I was wrong.

Not that I know of.

So far, I think I really prefer 1.  2 has prettier graphics, but...that's about it.  The interface seems worse.  There are some bugs(it's really difficult to deselect a player when you set them to move then try to cancel it.  The turn timer is a lot shorter(which is made more difficult by the previously mentioned bug).  The single player campaign is a story mode, and the sandbox campaign from 1 is apparently gone(you can play solo leagues but that isn't really the same).  Just seems like 2 is a straight up MP game.  The MP is fun, but I like the single player too.

Is there not a keyboard command to show the player position names in Blood Bowl 2?  It's annoying having to click each guy to see if he's a blitzer or lineman, etc.  In BB1 you just press n.

My humans just savaged a Khorne team 3-0.  Inflicted multiple injuries and KOs.  They barely even got on my half of the field.

Blood for the blood god, though.

Won a BB2 multiplayer game last night with my humans against an Orc team 2-0, but one of my blitzers died in the process.

Fucking Orcs.

Made the entire story right there.

Double posting to recap a hell of a close game I just had.  My humans vs. Nurgles.  The whole match they're out playing me on strength.  My ogre goes down on the first turn for the rest of the game.  They just beat my ass all over the place.  They go up 1-0.  I manage to tie the game later, and I was happy to keep it there.  On turn 15, they try a long range pass to a player about halfway between midfield and the end zone on my side that I have double covered.  My catcher intercepts.  Turn 16, I run my other catcher past three tackle zone squares to the end zone.  He makes all three rolls.  I move the catcher with the ball up to a little on my side of mid field, and throw a pass.  Catcher in the end zone catches it.  I win 2-1.  Holy shit.

Definitely humans.  They're a good medium between run and pass heavy play, and you can specialize more as you level up players.

Their position names also make more sense to me.

I was under the impression that FUMBBL played the PC Blood Bowl game.

I have a great team going in a Blood Bowl 1 single player campaign.  Had some good performances in the MP beta for Blood Bowl 2 but I really want the full game released before I dive into that.  I'd join an online league if I was more confident I'd be able to make scheduled games.

Just had another BB2 game with my humans against an Orc player.  I went up 1-0 fairly early.  He tied the game in the beginning of the second half.  I pulled ahead 2-1 late in the second half.  He tied the game on the very last turn with a huge pass. 

I picked up Blood Bowl 2 as well and tried a multiplayer game last night. Went up 2-0 and the guy conceded.  He was doing stupid shit, like running a guy on a route that made him have to dodge my guys 4 or 5 times in a row.

Between graduate school and my son, I don't have as much time for gaming as I used to, but I still work it in.  It unwinds me.  But I have noticed that I've lost patience for a lot of games that involve waiting.  Tried to play Metal Gear Solid 3 last week as I've never played it before and absolutely couldn't stand it.

I started a campaign with a human team.  1-1 so far.  Playing the third game now and I'm down by 1.

Has Franchise mode been changed to make being an actual player any fun at all?

Picked up Blood Bowl Chaos Edition with the Focus Home Interactive sale and holy fuck this game is complicated.

I made a stable of white rappers in that game using the Durst entrance.

Huh.  I typically try to strike a mana balance, but I weight toward cheaper cards, with a few of the more expensive cards as knockout blows.  I tend to run into a lot of players with decks stacked full of big stuff and nothing in the 1-3 range.

I love Hearthstone, but I play it pretty rarely.  I think 23 is the highest I've ever gotten in ranked.  Someone explain what a rush deck is?

But I'm done. I'm done now damnit.

Good choices, though.

Verdun, Payday 2, and Hitman Collection with 19 cents to spare. Don't mind if I do.

Fallout games?

I played 3 enough to get sick of it. Also have New Vegas.

I'm leaning toward Verdun for $11.49. Seems like a good multiplayer shooter.
