  1. Well, the commentary sounds like will be dreadful again.

Everything sounds so forced and un-natural. They just need to get the NBA commentators on board, they just go with it and then the game ends up sounding like a genuine representation of real TV.

...That IS a genuine representation of real TV.

  2. So how do you go about getting refunds on Steam? Because Game of Thrones doesn't seem to work :/

If it's crashing on you when you start the game, close every other window you have open. That worked for me. It also opened in this tiny little window, so I had to immediately open settings when the game started and change it to full screen.

I had that as well, but the problem I'm having is that the mouse is really slow and bordering unresponsive, so I barely have time to reply to people and the time based movement stuff just doesn't work.

Oh, I had that problem too. Go into the folder where Thrones.exe is, right click it, select "run as administrator." Now every time you run it through steam it'll run in administrator mode, and it speeds up the mouse reaction a lot.

  3. I remember the days before the Christmas sale when I had 5 games on Steam.

I now have 114..at the rate I'm going I'll probably have 125 by the end of this sale. Picked up Flight Sim and FF 8 today, probably will pick up 7 as well but I only have $14 left in my Steam Wallet and I'm waiting to see what pops up in the next set of flash deals.

    126. And there's still 3 days to go

    536. Games

    3. Software

    1. Video

Lets not get into the topic of what i actually playied. >_>

Remember when people used to illegally download games?

    They download faster on Steam.

  5. 2 days after I decide to buy WWE 2k15 because it's so new on PC it probably won't get cheaper, and it gets cheaper.

    :bang:

    WWE2k Steamkey at 25€ // £17.49 - All DLCs included.

    :shifty:

It's $24.99 in the US, so still cheaper than that.

I got approve for the refund and went ahead and bought it for the discount price. Then I have like $33 in my steam wallet to blow. >_>

EDIT: And Game of Thrones is 50% off now. Score. Someone take my computer away from me now.

  6. Ooh, didnt know tbey had 40k for pc, color me intruiged

Dawn of War is the first. There are several stand-alone expansions for it, and Dawn of War II is also out with at least one expansion that I know of. DoWII and it's expansion are in the bundle as well. They're all RTS similar to Company of Heroes. Made by the same company.

  7. I imagine the card mode would be fun, but I'm not really familiar with enough players. I loved RTTS on '12,but after going through a whole career, winning the WS etc. I haven't had the motivation to stick with it in subsequent years. I'd really like to try my hand at a frnachise, but I fear my total inability to hit would handcuff the team somewhat.

And that's why I've got the credit still sat in my account and not spent on this year's game.

I don't know any of the players on my Diamond Dynasty team but it's still loads of fun.

  8. Almost like an infield fly but sac flies can be done on purpose.

And they'll still stand in between unless they are looking to tag so they don't get stuck so far away in case the outfielder drops the ball.

Yeah I've done my fair share of Sac Flys but in my head I thought a Sac pop-up to second would be shallow enough for an infield fly rule to be called. You'd need Benny The Jet type speed to make it home in that case.

I'm just going to keep calling my teammates stupid for not tagging up properly when the fielder has enough time to set up a picnic under the ball.

If dummy had of stood on first and waited for the fly out before going for second he'd be in scoring position instead of stuck at first because he had to backtrack, twit :/

Runners don't usually tag up from first to second. The throw to second from the outfield is too short to have a good chance at making it.

  9. Was space combat that big? Was it even in the first one? It was boring and samey and it didn't matter where the map was, it was always the same thing and the dog fighting was kind of bullshit. It was just rush to the other player's base.

It was in the second, not the first. I thought it was fun (mainly playing hotseat multiplayer), but could have been improved.

  10. It's a pre-built machine, I just went browsing on Amazon cause I just don't have the wherewithal to build one myself.

I built my last machine from scratch. About the only thing I struggled with was wiring everything to the power supply. I find that sort of thing really rewarding! Computer parts these days are so much "this part can only go one way" that so long as you put the risers on the case it's really hard to mess it up. You should give it a try next time! You'll get a kick out of it, I think :)

I've done two custom builds. I'll never buy a desktop from a store again.

  11. Yeah, you only have to play as your own character.

You only have to do your own at-bats, your own fielding and your own base-running. You can also turn off fielding and base-running if all you want to do is bat as your RTTS player.

You can also play as your character for every single pitch whether the result involves you or not, or set baserunning to only have you control if you're the lead runner.
