TEOL has pointed out the potential and potential pitfalls of the concept I had.

What's FD's idea... I'm willing to steal from the best of them. Or the worst of them if I can improve upon it.

Once I flesh it out a bit I might be sending it around to some people... since it has potential but needs some more thought processing on my part.

Pris I feel you could easily run a mafia game. It can be hard but it's also a lot of fun seeing what's going on behind the scenes.

I just had a flashpoint for a new style of mafia-esque game but I'm not sure it would work or not.

I need someone skilled in the mafia concept and mafia hybrids to give me some feedback on the potential of said game.

I like the enigma of it.

Mostly that Norro ran a big, successful game (even if the epilogue took a while to get to) and Will tried one (that was HUGE for a first timer) - I had 10 less sign-ups and it was tricky enough. I just really wanted to wind Pleatherface up a bit.

That Norro found it confusing too... even better.

Reading through Blazing Saddles Mafia makes me want to run a proper themed Mafia again... I miss those, they're so much fun to plan and I've only ever done like two.

But I can't think of a theme.

It took a while to snap all the pictures for the characters since I couldn't find ANY on the intranet but I enjoyed it mostly.

*sigh* Yes. I felt it important to get the right pics for the players. I thought it added something, maybe I was wrong. It's most obvious in TRW and Ruki's pics. But yah, that was me watching the movie and snapping pics, I fortunately included a few bonus pics since I didn't think I'd get 27 sign-ups.

Ah well. I've already got Josh and SDM pre-signed for the mafia I may never run.
