  1. Hominick was fucking great, he received some good kicks early in the round but after the first time he connected Roop straight in the left eye I knew he was going to TKO him with those same punches. Guillard was a fucking beast, poor Dunham is now loss two straight. Hopefully Guillard gets someone better, maybe Sotiropoulos (or whatever way that's spelled).

Didn't watch Yves/Cody but read it on MMAJunkie and saw that it won FOTN. McKenzie should never lose, he's too awesome.

  2. For those wondering, if you get rid of the Brad Smith kickoff return to start the game and the Mewelde Moore safety you're looking at the Steelers having won that game 17-13. Mendenhall had almost 100 yards on the ground, and Wallace caught for more than 100. Sanchez, and the offense as a whole, had a poor day. With Polamalu playing the Jets are going to need to rely on their running game even more, and, well nobody runs on Pittsburgh. Sorry guys, the Jets are going to need the luckiest game in NFL history on Sunday.

Well if your gonna put it like that... if the Jets had scored 50 pts. and the Steelers none the Jets would've won too. If Mark Sanchez had thrown 50 TD passes and ran for 50 more then the Jets would've won too. There's a million scenarios that IF they had happened the end result would probably be completely different.

The point is, it's not about IFS it's about facts and the fact is, Jets won Steelers lost. Doesn't matter how, what happened, what could've or should've happened. The end result is there and that's what matter, bitching and IFS won't magically turn the game around and give the other team the win.

And stop that shit ECK, it's fucking ridiculous.

  3. Ben and Bruce Arians won't do that. They're not going to sit back and take what the Jets are conceding to them, that's just not their style.

If and when the Jets drop 8, Hines Ward and Heath Miller will be open underneath. Manny Sanders will be open on crossing routes. And after they gash the Jets a few times, they'll wait for the Jets to apply some pressure, or only drop 5 or 6, and if the Steelers get Wallace on Revis without a safety over the top...they'll take a shot downfield.

That isn't Brady/Pats and Manning/Colts style either, they tend to blow defenses any way they come at them but they still lost. Steelers already lost once to this team, it obviously can happen twice.

If Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon and Deion Branch couldn't get over Revis I highly doubt Mike Wallace is going to. Not saying he won't or can't, just that his chances don't look good.

  4. I'd be love the story of a Jets/Packers Super Bowl. The Pack going on the road all three games to beat the Eagles, Falcons, and Bears, and the Jets going on the road to beat the Colts, Patriots, and Steelers (can't stand Ryan, but what a hell of an achievement that'd be).

And I think he (owner, Pat Bowlen) already knows the error of his ways, Powerhart. That's why he hired Elway. So he'd have someone to blame when we continue to stink. <_<

That is exactly what my dad said, he's a die-hard Broncos fan. He said Elway was gonna end up being the scapegoat to his bad decisions.

  5. McDermott Relieved Of Duties As Def. Coordinator

The Eagles have announced that Sean McDermott has been relieved of his duties as defensive coordinator.

The Eagles defense finished tied for 21st in the league in scoring defense (23.6 points per game) and had the worst red zone defense in the league (76.74 percent of opponent's trips into the red zone resulted in touchdowns). At the same time, the Eagles forced 34 turnovers, fifth-most in the NFL, and their 23 interceptions ranked third in the league. A young defense was one of only two teams in the league to have rookies contribute at least five sacks and five interceptions.

    No replacement has been announced.

  6. John Fox is the new Head Coach in Denver to try and shore up that defense.

And Cam Newton will again be getting money to play football next season. This time around though, it'll be completely legal.

You mean this season's wasn't legal? He sure didn't get punish for that one, he must've been innocent.

  7. I still think Overeem deserves a better ranking than that and that Lesnar's ranking is not deserving of No. 2. But this would lead to another discussion/argument about rankings and well, let just not get into those.

I'm happy Strikeforce finally agreed on terms with Fedor and M-1 and that this GP is set. Hopefully it doesn't blow up on their face and they give us fans the Heavyweight bouts we've been waiting since 2009 to see.

  8. Yesterday Bud Adams announced that the Titans and Vince Young were heading separate ways, this meaning, VY is out as QB of the Titans as soon as February (8th?) when the offseason starts. ESPN had an article about it yesterday and it said that most people convinced him that it was better to keep Fisher than keep Young, however he said that Fisher didn't had his Head Coaching job completely secured and that he will probably have to make some changes on his coaching staff.

  9. Drew Brees just went Eli Manning on that last pick 6. Eli would have thrown it lefty, but the point still stands :shifty:

I bet Powerhart thinks the Saints need a QB change too since Brees has now thrown 20 interceptions this year.

EDIT: Make it 21, now they need to cut him.

    Ha! It's obvious they do.
