  1. Seriously, all this singling out of Dodge ? WTF ...

He didn't bend over and take it in the ass to give up a 21 point lead in 7 minutes. So he should have kicked it out of bounds ... ok, he didn't .... Jackson muffed the damned thing and 10 other guys can't cover the a muffed punt ?

Yeah, ridiculous that he's catching the flack that he is for this.

Exactly what I think, sure he screwed that up but it's not like the Giants D had done their job in that 2nd half. He was just the awful mistake in a series of awful mistakes.

As for the Titans, I hope this is Fisher's last season. I love the guy and think he's a hell of a coach but I think he's done anything he can for the Titans and it's time to part ways. I'd like Cowher or Gruden as the Titans coach.

Cowher or Gruden would be good choices (both were on my list for next Dallas head coach if Garrett bombed). But honestly, at this rate, I'd even settle for Brian Billick. Though, with my luck, the next head coach will probably be either Brad Childress, Wade Phillips or Josh McDaniels.....

NO FUCKING WAY! By the way, you're a Titans fan? Never saw you mention it or anything.

  2. I know middleeasy isn't the most reliable, but if this is true.. oh hell yeah.

It's still a plan/rumor, not yet official, and well... this is Strikeforce, last time they had prepared a tournament/Grand Prix it was the Middleweights and it never got off the ground. I'd love for it to happen, but don't really see it happening in the States or with Fedor (M-1 Global) blocking every fight with contract disputes.

  4. Yeah, he seemed decided to at least return it a few yards seeing as how he was protecting the ball, then all of a sudden everyone blocked the Packers and he was on the clear, and off he went... he even cut back into the middle of the field instead of going out of bounds.

  5. SMART on-side kick by Green Bay. Indeed, if they didn't recover it would have been the dumbest start of a game in a long time but they did. Nice play.

Not really, it's not like people expect the Packers to actually win tonight with Flynn as the starter. Sure, not recovering it would've been laughable but nothing that bad.

  6. It's been a bad week as a Yankee fan with Lee not signing and Boston getting only stronger. The only NY team that has been having a good week is the Rangers.

As a Jet fan I would sign a contract that guaranteed me one Super Bowl in the next twenty years (you cant win more, but you will win once). With the Yankees you can even sign for one World Series in five years, that would be a failure for the franchise. I think 1 in 3 years is a fair contract to sign up for them. I know it's irrelevant, but this is a question I always ask me Giant/Met/Jet fan friends.

The G-Men will bounce back from this though. I believe they get Green Bay next week...if they don't have Rodgers they won't have a chance.

It's not about getting into the playoffs at this point. When you're up by 21 with 7:30 left in the game, you need to win that. A win there basically clinches the # 2 seed since they would only need 1 win to get to 11 and that would have been Philly's max. They also had the tiebreaker over Chicago which would have been the only team that could have stopped them from having a bye and a home game. Now that they lost twice to Philly they can only end up at # 6 since they won't be able to jump over the Saints. If Chicago drops to the # 3, then that's not the worst thing in the world, but they just flushed away any chance of winning the Super Bowl because there is absolutely no way they would ever beat the Eagles in Philly in the postseason after blowing late leads TWICE this season.

They said the same thing back in 2007 when the fans wanted Eli and Coughlin gone, they sneaked into the playoffs and won the Super Bowl against the 16-0 Pats.

  7. You shouted victory too soon, TCO.

So the announcers just talked about the Titans Playoff chances, and they can still win the division. Indy beats Jags today, and both (Jags/Indy) lose their next two games and of course the Titans win theirs, the Titans would be Division Champs. Complicated but not impossible.

EDIT: TOUCHDOWN INDY! Onside kick return for TD, awesome.
