  1. I hate to take away from the Lost & Damned talk, but can anyone give me some tips for the Trespass mission where you have to attack the old Sprunk factory? I can't fucking beat it, and I really don't want to use codes, so any advice would be appreciated.
  2. I'm a little upset with the roster. I mean, it's still pretty stacked and all but I was hoping for five people. Earthquake, Sid Justice, Demolition and Bam Bam Bigelow, and all I got was Earthquake. Still a pretty awesome roster though, I guess.
  3. I didn't hear about Michaels with the DLC, but I did hear Orton and Edge thrown around as possibly getting their own RTW when the DLC comes out.
  4. I usually just play sports games on the PS3, so I'm not used to DLC. How much does shit like that usually go for on the PS3? Also, if anyone has formulas for Deuce, Domino, D'lo Brown, Val Venis, Mike Knox, Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, Chris Masters, Jamie Noble, Jim Duggan, King Booker, The Highlanders, Matt Striker, Nunzio, Burchill, Kenny Dykstra, or Shannon Moore, don't be shy. Go ahead and post them.
  5. How could you not enjoy Bad Boys?
  6. I haven't seen any of the second season and I know people have said it lost its charm, but it's just a fucking bummer. It was possibly the most creative show in recent years I hate to see it go. Hopefully we can get a movie to at least wrap everything up. What an awful year for TV. I found that funny. About the show being canceled, I'm a little bit bummed out. Chuck is fucking smoking, but creatively there's really nowhere they could have taken Ned and Chuck. What's disappointing about it all is that there's no way you can get a happy ending out of this show. There's no way he can ride off to in the sunset with Chuck, and then bang her. It's love, but it's love from a distance, so unless they're covered in saran wrap, there's no touching, which means no real happy ending. But, what does really piss me off is that Eli Stone got canceled. Maggie is a total babe. And, I'm not the most spiritual guy in the world, but this show is as uplifting of a show on TV as you'll find. Honestly, watching that show would make anyone feel good inside. It really is a shame to see it canceled.
  7. Go with Jingle All The Way. Absolutely terrible. I'd avoid Santa's Slay, because I think that was supposed to be more satirical in nature than it was supposed to be scary. I know there was a bunch of 80's Christmas themed slasher movies that were all pretty much terrible. Don't have any names for you, but I'm sure you could find it with a google search.
  8. Figured I'd give this a bump and see if anyone else is watching it. This has definitely become my favorite show on TV, hands down. The relationship between John and Cameron is fucking fantastic. Spoiler: Click here to viewA lot of people are clamoring for a John/Cameron romance and I am soooooo not on that bandwagon, but fuck, this last episode did wonders for their relationship. I was afraid that they'd start having Cameron turn human and be all emotional all the time. But when she dropped her jacket, entered John's room in a tank top, short skirt and boots halfway up her leg I loved it. Not just because I'm a perv, but because she knew what she had to do to manipulate John into doing what she wanted him to do. (Even though he didn't actually follow through on it) It's almost like you don't know what to believe and what not to believe. We know that Cameron, in the future (her past) is John's #1 confidant. But then stuff like this happens, where she tries to show him some machine tit to influence his actions. John is obviously confused about his feelings towards Cameron, as he's held a gun pointed at his own mother when she's threatened Cameron. And then on top of all that, throw in Sarah's opinion on it all. She thinks that Cameron had sex with John. She had a couple of lines in the last episode saying pretty much that. "I don't like the way he responds to you." "He's still in bed? How late did you keep him up last night?" It's fucking crazy. I love it. I'm just hoping we don't see some lovey dovey ending to this fucked up shit.
  9. I mostly agree with everything he said in there. Being an American and all, I wasn't able to watch Dead Set, but I agree with a lot of the points he was making. It's always been my belief that the best zombie movies have been the ones that have some sort of grounding in reality. Obviously we're talking about corpses rising from the dead and attacking the living, so you can't put too much stock in reality. But I think it's the sense of realism that occurs after the zombie uprising that is important (if that makes any sense). In shit like this, the most fantastical shit that's happening should be that there ARE zombies. It shouldn't be that zombies are chasing after you (DotD 04). It shouldn't be that they're cutting through walls with meat cleavers, or firing guns at you (LotD) and it definitely shouldn't be anything having to with the entire Michonne character (The Walking Dead).
  10. Friday the 13th Remake Spoilers Spoiler: Click here to viewToe, it's not meant to be a direct sequel to the first Friday the 13th. My understanding of it is that it's more a remake of the series than it is the first movie. I've read that we'll see kiddy Jason, we've got a Pam Vorhees cameo, potato sack Jason, and then finally Hockey mask Jason. It's like the first three Friday's on hyperspeed.
  11. I too loved Zombie's Halloween. I think people try and concentrate too much on saying one is better than the other instead of realizing that they are two completely different movies. Zombie took the original and put more substance, motive and reasoning behind it. The original was kind of light on plot, but heavy on the suspense. Zombie's was heavier on plot, but not nearly as suspenseful. All in all, I loved them both. I think the people that hated this movie are the same ones who say that every remake ever made was terrible. Maybe a decade from now we'll get some sort of remake combining the awesome shit from both movies into one. I doubt it.
  12. Plus, having read the short story, I get the feel that the monsters were supposed to look fucked up. They were supposed to look like they shouldn't even exist in our realm.
  13. Life rocks pretty hard. Burn Notice is pretty awesome, though a bit frustrating sometimes when you're practically begging them to move the actual plot forward instead of fucking around with the minor stories. But Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is probably my favorite show on TV right now. If you're looking for drama, shit heaps of action and relatively no gore, then I'd definitely check it out.
  14. Mist ending: Spoiler: Click here to viewIt could clear because the kid gets killed. Or it could clear because of the military that rolls up in the tank. It's not like the mist cleared and Thomas Jane's character was left standing there. The military rolled through, and the mist cleared. I gotta take that as being purely a coincidence. Definitely looking into it too much.
  15. If anybody's looking to get a peak at Midnight Meat Train, you should be able to see it free if you have Comcast On Demand. I read somewhere that they're offering it free with FearNet on Demand, so check it out if you're so inclined.
  16. I know, it really doesn't show much. But, I think they only filmed the first two or three episodes, so maybe that's got something to do with it. Anyway, I mainly posted it to let any other zombie fans out there to know there's a chance of a zombie TV show actually becoming a reality.
  17. For whoever asked, the ending of the Mist short story is completely different from the movie ending.
  18. I have a HUGE rebuttal about the Strangers, but I'm a little short on time right now so I'll post it later. But as far as the "true events" thing goes, the director himself has admitted that the only true events this was based off was him getting a strange knock at his door one night at three or four in the morning.
  19. Since it's pretty much the same subject matter, I figured I'd post this here. It's a teaser trailer for a zombie TV show that's trying to get picked up. www.lifelesstheseries.com
  20. I'll play. Nobody take any of my Knicks on me.
  21. Spoiler: Click here to viewIf you don't gather wood, you can't win. Who cares that the acting was horrible? I'm sure these guys couldn't go out and pay Christian Bale or Charlize Theron to come and star in their zombie movie that would be released for free on the internet. How big of a budget do you think they had? And I'm sure whatever budget they had went to that kickass ending.
  22. The subtitle says it all. http://www.survivetheoutbreak.com/ Go there.
  23. Yeah, I was bummed about there being no swag. I sent my brother to Best Buy to preorder it for me, and it broke my damn heart when I called him from work and asked him what free shit we get with it only to find out that you get nothing. I want cheat codes for Triple H's other outfit damnit!
