Damn, a shitty couple weeks to be a Knicks fan. Once they really get in the thick of the playoff race for one of the last two spots in the playoffs, they lose six games out of seven and go ten games under 500. Now we've got a tough schedule where we're going to play Cleveland at home, and then at Dallas and at Oklahoma City. I think if the Knicks stand any shot of getting the eighth spot they have to beat Cleveland at home, and Oklahoma City on the road. Dallas is pretty much going to be a throwaway. I could see Mardy Collins, the new Randolph Morris guy and Jerome James playing most of the second half to keep Marbury and Curry fresh for the games that they have a shot at winning.

Total let down. I get the point of doing cliffhangers, but damn, that one just sucked. So I guess these guys are aliens then?

I've seen House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark, and yeah Alone in the Dark was god awful. It had no redeeming factors whatsoever. Not a damned thing. But House of the Dead was what it was. Anybody at all who had seen the commercials for it on television, or the trailers for it at the movie theater... or hell, even seen the title, should have known what they were getting themselves into. It was obviously going to be a mindless gorefest with lots and lots of titties mixed in. I saw the movie knowing that it would just be tits and blood, and therefore I liked it. The problem with the Uwe Boll haters (ones that I've encountered off the board anyway) is that they go into his movies with incredibly high expectations. They go into his movies like they are expecting to see a cinematic masterpiece, when it's based on a game that largely revolved around just killing zombies. If people weren't expecting every horror movie to be on par with Silence of the Lambs or the Romero trilogy...err, quadrilogy (yeah I made that up), then a Uwe Boll movie wouldn't be quite as awful as they make it out to be. Except Alone in the Dark. Seriously that sucked cock.

Did any of you guys catch the Mets game last night? Hot damn Pedro was all over the place. For a second there it looked like Guillen was gonna nail him with the bat... This is going to make things really fuckin interesting next week when we go to Washington for three games. Bannister, Pedro and Sanchez hit six batters in those two games so I can only imagine that Washington is going to do a little bit of headhunting next week. If one of our big guys like Delgado, Wright or even Pedro get nailed I'm going to be pissed. But at least I might get to see that big fucking gorilla Delgado throwing some Nationals around. That might make it worth it.

Anybody else play that Beat The Streak game from mlb.com? I started two days ago, so I've got a two game streak with Manny Ramirez and Pujols. But tonight I've got Justin Morneau, who should come through against the Royals for me. Pretty cool game.

The new mainly white uniform is pretty good looking. But the red one... well, it's just too red. Throw in a little white, or something in there and it would have looked okay, but yeah, I'm not feeling the red one. The Lions jerseys are thoroughly kick ass though.
