  1. That mock draft I mentioned last week, the guy picking for Jax jokingly tried to get #4 from Atlanta by pulling the Ricky Williams trade.
  2. I'm a Patriots fan. Everyone hates us. A bunch of us are on the Tampa bandwagon because of Brady and Gronk. Wanna come to the dark side? Bring your fandom to Foxboro.
  3. On another board I'm on, we're doing a mock draft. I have the Patriots and Giants. Giants: took Rashawn Slater at 11 Patriots: traded picks 15, 96, and 242 to the Eagles for 12. Took Mac Jones at 12. Traded a 5th rounder (177) to Carolina for Bridgewater. Traded Michel to Atlanta for a 3rd rounder (68).
  4. It's been a while since the Yankees have been in last place, and I'm enjoying this for the time being.
  5. I have one of the best scouts in my league, so I tend to favor ratings more than just purely stats. I do like to trim the fat, particularly at the upper levels. If they don't have a potential contact of 45 or higher, I tend to cut them. Same with potential stuff of 50+. Anything sub 40 on either is likely getting released even if they're 18 years old. (20-80 scale) Sometimes I'll trim the minors mid-season. Others I'll just let them go when they're minor league FAs.
  6. The Patriots want full capacity, but I don't know if Mass. is ready to go there yet. The Red Sox are around 15% (iirc) at the moment. Connecticut meanwhile is already at 50%
  7. My favorite albums this year, so far: Divide and Dissolve Godspeed You Black Emperor Genesis Owusu Youth Code w/ King Yosef Benny the Butcher w/ Harry Fraud HMs: Viagra Boys Shame Brockhampton Arlo Parks Floating Points et al The Body
  8. The one time I went to a Mets game, the Mets had a one hitter. It was an infield single in the 4th inning. Want to say this was 2005 or 2006.
  9. That's what the calendar said. But someone forgot to tell the Red Sox that
  10. I'm in Did we set a time for Sunday yet?
  11. At the very least I can do it from my phone. Would prefer earlier on that time frame rather than around dinner time.
  12. Houston should trade him, but not for this reason. On another board I'm on, a couple Houston people there said this lawyer's some guy who loves attention and has a Trump-esque attitude towards things. He ran for mayor of Houston a couple years ago and lost. He also is connected with the McNair's, so smear job seems in play here.
  13. I heard some speculate that the Pats might go with some three TE sets (Asiasi or Keene as the third), go heavy with the ground game and shorter passes. Similar to the Ravens.
  14. Good = Tampa Bay Medium = Miami Bad = Houston
  15. I'd lean heavily towards obtaining and using pitchers with a high ground ball percentage. The Rockies in the league I'm in won 103 games and the NL West in 2039. No pitcher has a GB% under 50%, and over half are over 60%. They also managed to have a run differential of 277 though. My D'backs team won 90 games, but was only 6-13 against them
  16. I got one on Sunday the 21st at 11 am (Eastern). Anyone opposed to Saturday the 20th or 27th around that time frame?
  17. I don't mind doing it on a weekend if necessary
  18. It's not terrible, but I'm hoping that they find a QB in the draft to prepare for 2022 and after. And not in like round 5 or 6 either. Not sure what will be available at 15 though. Even Mac Jones might be off the board then, and I can't see Bill trading up for someone with this high of demand.
  19. There is a window coming up where the East coast is only four hours behind the UK instead of five.
  20. Allegedly it's an incentive heavy deal like last year. I'm not opposed to Cam coming back, but I really hope he gets better than last year or that's likely a huge overpay.
  21. Sac might be a good market for USLC, but MLS might be pushing it.
