  1. Sylvia is going to box Ray Mercer? what is he thinking? i mean really. I'm happy that Machida is going to get the shot, even though it should be a rather boring fight. Either way it's an oppertunity to prove who is the best 205'er in the world atm. I mean both are undefeated. Also BJ Penn needs to stop whining and take his loss like a man, everytime he loses it's somebody elses fault, theres always an excuse, he needs to man up and win or lose like a man, i can't wait for Kenflo to beat him. R.I.P Mask
  2. Definitely did the trick for Bill Callahan. NFC >>>>>>> AFC, apparently. No but Fassel was a better coach IMO than Callahan. And callahan inherited Jon Grudens team then got beat by Jon Gruden. Fassel did good with the Giants led them to the bowl where they got slaughtered.
  3. Tolleson Plays in the minor leagues for The Minnesota Twins as does one other guy but name is drawing a blank.
  4. I don't know, i think being a former NFC Champion as a coach would do wonders for recruiting. I think Haslett is a underrated coach and is still a quality coach, both are but i guess it's right about it being cheaper to hire coaches from within. Personally i think Haslett would be a good NCAA Coach i think would be better then Bill Callahan or Charlie Weis is/was. Fassel i'm not 100% sure but his record would help with recruiting or atleast i think it would. I'm not saying either would be on Urban Meyer, Les Miles, Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Stoops or Brown level, but i think they could help a team in a major or not so major conference become better.
  5. I'm saying it looks like it's being set up for the US to win, because most of the fighters who have big fight expierence or are more refined and known are on Team USA. IE: Jason Dent and Mark Miller
  6. I've Seen, Jason Dent fight Tibau in the UFC. I've either heard of or seen ; Kevin Knabjin, Jason Pierce, Mark Miller( He fought in the IFL), Kiel Reid, Santino DeFranco, Che Mills, Andre Winner and Jeff Lawson. I'm not that big on Bisping or really the format it's basically set up for USA to get the victory. But the fights should be good.
  7. The only good thing about the Canada/Italy game was Morneau's 4/5 game, it was great to see. Though i was looking forward to us playing them again, but oh well.
  8. Hey he hasn't done barely anything good for boxing, so why would that change for MMA a sport he admittly dislikes?
  9. He wants to help MMA grow, so he picks DON FUCKING KING? HIM? i mean why? sure he may or may not be a good promoter, but he is scum, he is a dirt bag. The only good thing i can see coming out of this is if some high profile boxers cross over like what Hasim Rahman wants to do. other wise.... Really? Don King? hey should have got Bob Meryowitz atleast he has been pseud-successful before, or partnered with a Ex/Current Fighter who knows about MMA. But Don King?
  10. yeah. Kinda sad that a coaches like Haslett and Fassel(Sp?) can't get a job at an NCAA School or a NFL team and have to coach in the UFL. I mean Fassel has a Career NFL record of 60-56-1, and a former NFC Championship winning Coach. While Jim Haslett has a career record of 47-53. Both may not be top coaches, but are steady. They are better then what you would expect for the new league, but it will help them and the players playing.
  11. Yeah, Kazmir has become one of the AL's Best Pitchers when healthy. I forgot that he was traded for Zambrano. I remember that some "experts said that it was a bad trade and Zambrano was going to be a star, funny how that turned out.
  12. I agree with Warner having one of if not the best few seasons as a peak for a QB. I mean he was amazing. IMO he should be first ballot HOF. Over his career he wasn't always dominate, but during his peak he was. hell Terrell Davis became a Semi-Finalist for only a few years of awesomeness. EDIT: I meant so say was a Semi-Finalist for the HOF. my mistake.
  13. Yeah. I remember when he left Tampa and some people said he had big things in his future, but he's never even sniffed those expectations.
  14. I've seen him land a few leg kicks, but nothing as brutal or awesome as that kick. The sound was awesome. It was just amazing.
  15. Brock would get Carwin down fairly easy. Brock is a much much better wrestler then Carwin, his striking seems to be better as well. Hamill is a great guy, i've met at a couple of UFC's i've been to, real classy dude. Hamill was excited, he scored a beautiful possibly KO of the year over a tough opponent in his home state. You'd be pumped as well. And the only dickish stories i've hear about him are people who rolled with him on TUF. Hamill goes all out during practice, it helps him, some don't like it though. And as much as i like Kongo, Carwin or Brock or Cain would demolish him. Sure Kongo's wrestling has improved, but lets not forget the Herring fight. Heath has pretty decent wrestling, but not on the level of Cain/Brock or even Carwin. If a small Carmelo Marrero can use his wrestling to ground Kongo, what can a bigger more athletic better wrestler do(Brock and Cain)?
  16. Great game by Team USA. Man the last minute addition of Adam Dunn is sure paying off well. If we play like we did in the 6th the rest of the tournament we have to be the favorite. Armando Galarraga pitched pretty well despite giving up the 2 runs, he did have 4 K's. SO now we get either a rematch of today or with Canada on Wed. In other news man did Australia smackdown Mexico, if Mexico loses tommorow to South Africa they are done. And Japan vs Korea for the Pool tommorow, plus Netherlands vs Puerto Rico, should be a fun day. Anyways i think Puerto Rico beats Netherlands, Mexico beats South Africa and Japan beats Korea, and Canada beats Italy.
  17. Sengoku 7 Hatsu Hioki vs. Chris Manuel - Unamious Decision Hideki Kadowaki vs. Nam Phan - Unmious Decision Marlon Sandro vs. Matt Jaggers - Submission Round 2 L.C. 18. ...WTF? Is this discounting the entire 20th century? We can play a nice little game of "name all the all-time QB's you'd rather have than Kurt Warner," I'm sure. I'll start. Unitas, Fouts, Marino, Montana, Young, Aikman, Kelly, Bradshaw, Peyton Manning, Brady, Moon, Tarkenton, Staubach...wait, I think I passed 12. Others can feel free to join in if they like. If he was top 12 of all time, ESPN's people wouldn't be flapping their gums all through the playoffs and Super Bowl build about "Is Kurt a Hall of Famer?" There'd be no doubt, would there? And yes, I can see the "he's 4th all-time in passer rating" argument coming now...and so what? Tony Romo's third. Chad Pennington's 8th. Daunte Culpepper's 11th, for God's sake. The day anyone tries to use passer rating to convince me that Daunte Culpepper's a better QB than Dan Marino (16th, BTW) is the day that that person needs to have the men with the white jackets come take them to a nicely padded room. Preferably not the one here in the Dome, either. I never said i thought that. Read MSN, right after the superbowl they had a poll about is Kurt Warner one of the greatest QBs of all time, it was voted that he was by like 63% - 37%. Look i think Warner is a HOF, i won't go any further than that IMO. He is a great QB. But their are those people who think him bringing Arizona to the Super Bowl is good enough to be top 12-15 all time, i don't. And i would never argue to say someone is better then Dan Marino with an exception of a very select few like only 2-3 guys. And ESPN reporters aren't exactly always very bright. I can add some to your list; Favre, Starr, Stabler. EDIT: FUCK! My CPU fucked up and it posted twice.

  20. Are you saying that i implied that Oakland had no good corners or is this another thing? and if people assume thats what i said then their problem. But i never said or even implied that Oakland didn't have any good corners. I simply stated they didn't have the best one. They have Asomugha, he is a great Corner he is a top guy, but IMHO he's not the best.
  21. Hold the fucking phone. I NEVER said Oakland didn't have any good corners, Not ONCE. I said that non of their corners are the best n the league. I never said Asomugha wasn't elite, i said he wasn't the best. And the whole who won the fight between Forrest and Rampage had been going on forever, and probably will continue that way, some people (not saying Biggz, he's knowledgeable) just can't accept that Rampage lost to Forrest. The fight was close i've admitted it. Every round except the second was close, but Forrest did more, he outworked Rampage and won the fight, he got the victory and a title. And i'm not or never have claimed to know more then Biggz or anyone here on anything at all. But it's my Opinon on who won Rampage vs Forrest, the fact remains 3 Judges and a whole shit load of others agree with me on Forrest winning.
  22. ok sure.... Wait.... you are telling me i have an attitude. Give me a second to let that one sink in really quick. WTF? you? dude you're an ass, alot of your posts are of you being an ass. Second, i'm not the greatest typer in the word, and make some key mistakes, so sue me will you. And i don't care if people don't want to hear what i think because they disagree with me. Most of what i've said holds merit to other people. Alot of people know that Forrest won that fight. Alot of people know Rampage is a jackass although he is a talented fighter. And i couldn't be ridiculed/harassed out of here if they tried. You want to know why i'm developing an attitude? Because some people on this site (not naming names) are an asshole and seem to have a problem with me so if i say one wrong thing they act like everything i say is stupid. Or when people act like their opinon is automatically right and i'm worng via that virtue. Or how about because when you disagree with someone here your instantly a dumbass? But i will stop double posting.
  23. Well that isn't me so don't aim it at me. Forrest is my favourite fighter by a million miles and one of the main reasons I got into MMA. I fucking love the guy and in my mind there's nobody better to watch on this planet. So I really don't get where your comment is coming from. And Rampage talks shit and backs it up, his entire UFC run has proven that. And let's be honest, why does it matter? You praise Rashad, who talks just as much shit as anyone does, whether I love him or not. I think you've got something against Rampage and for that refuse to actually realise how good he actually is. I guess we'll leave it at that and only the future will tell. That wasn't aimed at you. And i don't like Rashad either. Infact both of them are on my dislike list (along with Diaz Bros, BJ, and Koscheck). I'm giving my unbiased opinon on that i think Rashad is better then Rampage. I know Rampage is good, he is a top LHW, i know that, he has great strength, a good chin, good cardio, good wrestling, great boxing. He is good, and he will beat most fighters on any given day, i just don't like his attitude. But i may be a hypocrite because i love Hughes and people seem to boo him, i mean WTF, they booed him yesternight that was horrible. Just Because i don't like Rampage or BJ Penn doesn't mean i don't know or realize they are top of the line elite fighters. Rampage has improved, but i don't think he matches up well with Rashad thats what i'm saying.
  24. The only way it's a draw is if Rampage wins Round 1 10-8. I scored it 10-9. Some people have scored it 10-9 for Forrest which isn't a bad decision because he was clearly winning the round until he got rocked and he recoverd. The fight was close not controversial. Rampage only changed his tune after being told by his corner. Most people who dispute the fight use one of two things "The fight was close so Rampage the champion gets the nod" " I don't Like Forrest and love Rampage so he wins" or "it may have been a draw so i will give the nod to the champ"
  25. i don't see where are opinons differ besides who should get the next shot, and the Forrest/Rampage Fight. take who ever fucking opinons you want i could really careless dude.
