Finished Act 1 of the Consular class story yesterday, now I'm level 35 and back on Nar Shaddaa briefly.

Given my time zone probably not being the best for all this bit group stuff, I probably won't join on immediately for this Empire shenanigans, but once I finish my Consular story I'll definitely roll an Imperial character, and if I manage to catch up to you guys I'll join in. Perhaps, though, for the time being it might best for everyone on Mask of Nihilus to provide their name, level and class so group stuff can happen there. I'm Vynn, almost level 30, and a Jedi Shadow.

If we do Empire I'd be happy to play any of the classes, but I think I'd like my next character to not be a Force user. You know, just for something different. Even if hurling things off cliffs with Force Wave never gets old. Only issue with that is that I am really enjoying playing as a Shadow, and I'd want to at least finish my class story before I move on to another character. Of course, at the rate I'm going that will probably be a week from now, but we'll see.

I am level 14! DoubleX is like level 26 or something. I'm splitting my time between two characters so I'm leveling relatively slowly on both (my Inquisitor is level 17). Level 29 now. I'm halfway through Tatooine. Just a heads up about your next planet - spoilered just in case:

Well I'm level 18, so you have a bit of catching up to do.

GoGo and I got a chance to do a Flashpoint together earlier with two other randoms we picked up on the Republic Fleet, and it was an absolute blast. It also showed me that GoGo is playing the cash-hungry archetype of the smuggler. On my own I'm almost done on Coruscant, and nearly up to getting my spaceship, which will be awesome. Just a word of advice for GoGo or anyone else who plays Republic: when you get up the group quest Trouble In Deed, do two things: 1) Make sure you are above level 15 2) For god's sake take a healer That quest is brutal.

GoGo is a Smuggler, so I guess Trooper for you if you want to pick a unique class. Why not Knight though?

Downtime But I just checked my e-mail and the delivery date for my copy of TOR has been revised to December 21!

The way of works is there are three server locations: US East, US West, and Europe. The closer the server the better your ping, and thus lower lag. This is why I picked US West. You can play on any server though, so if you want to play with SRN, go with Europe, but if you want to join GoGo and I, we're on Mask of Nihilus, which is a US West server.

You have to give up blocking, but I loved the dual maces thing I did with my Nord. Dual casting can be good too once you get the dual cast boost perk. It turns Destruction spells into hadoukens!

What servers are you guys on? I'll be aiming for a West US PVE server, probably the one with the best name and the shortest queues, but if you guys are on one I might aim for that one.

We may complain about people here, but the TOR forums are horrendous. People there complain about anything and everything, even if it doesn't make sense. I'm sticking to their dev tracker so I can see any important news. Welcome to the wonderful world of MMOs! It's the same on practically every official MMO forum ever. It's bitch-bitch-bitch about everything. I wonder how long it'll take before people complain that TOR is/has gotten "too easy" or "too hard" or WAHHH, THIS CLASS HAS THIS BUT MINE DOESN'T, WHAT GIVES? Yeah, I knew that already. I also play EVE and the sense of entitlement of those people is painful enough. If such a thing were possible, however, the TOR forums are even worse. There are people complaining that the launch of TOR has failed because people are being let in as staggered waves, when it's just thinly veiled tantrums because they can't play with their toy yet. It's absurd.

Am I so invisible to you? If you want a digital copy you can buy it from Origin, but people have apparently had issues with that so idk. Then again though, people have had issues with everything Bioware have done, including complaining that they extended the early game access by two days. Those monsters.

Explore everywhere, that's how I got most of my shouts. As an added bonus your exploration will likely help in getting you those ten levels.

Seeing as I live in Australia, it'll still take a while since I ordered from Amazon in America, but we'll see. Fingered crossed I guess.

You could be a Knight, then you'd be the Luke to SRN's Han. I'm going Consular then Shadow as an AC. Not sure who that corresponds to in the movie characters but whatever. Also once early access ends I'm unlikely to be playing again until after Christmas seeing as I'm ordering from Amazon, and last I checked they were saying it won't get to me until after Christmas. I'm going to play like a maniac during early access though seeing as I'm taking my annual leave around then, so well see how we go.

You guys are all dirty Imperial bastards and I hate you As far as we know, yeah. When you log in for the first time you to straight into character creation, but then after you've created a character, on each log in you can choose to either play as that character or create a new one.

Nightwish. Imaginaerum. Completely fantastic. There's only one track I'm not a big fan of - Slow, Love, Slow - and that's only because the style's quite an abrupt departure from Nightwish's usual fare. Otherwise I love it.

Jedi Shadow main, but I'll probably wind up with several alts of other classes. I also want to do a Grey Jedi Sentinel who snarks at everybody and a light side Sith Warrior of some description. Oh! Also a Sith Sorcerer who is basically insane and whose response to any slight is to lightning everything. You can tell I like lightsabers
