  1. Pffft. That's only because you suck. I've always played Brawl with the Wiimote and Nunchuk, it's so easy.
  2. I like the way you think. "Aah! A chicken! *hammer*" I wonder what you'll think when you start running into Draugr.
  3. I wait for it to either land or hover, then blast it with magic. Always seems to work for me. Then once it lands finally, bash it with my maces.
  4. Finished the main quest earlier. I'm not going to do the civil war, Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild on this character - the image I've had in my head is that he's someone who does what he feels is right - but I'm considering restarting as a sneaky archer person, and someone who likes causing havoc. I'm thinking something like female Wood Elf.
  5. For what it's worth my brother used the Skyforge Sword until he found Ebony stuff, and he was on level 28 when that happened. So it should do you for quite a while
  6. This is me, decked out in Gilded Elven Armour, Glass Gauntlets and Glass Boots. I also use an enchanted Elven Helmet. That's a Glass Mace on his belt, I have a second but you can't see it in that picture. I've also enchanted both maces - one deals Fire damage, the other Frost. I like the duality there, fire and ice.
  7. I want the hangover quest! Where do you go to do it?
  8. Give it a month. Some enterprising modder will make a Hot Coffee-esque mod sooner or later. Has anyone else done the marriage "quest"? I married that Ysolda woman from Whiterun because she sounds nice. Although had I have gone for the gay option it would have been the Nord from Winterhold College. I like him.
  9. Which one? I've found three, but have only figured one of them out so far.
  10. Where do WMMA diaries go at the moment? I'd say that would be the precedent.
  11. I bashed the troll's skull in with my maces, no problem. Of course, I didn't go straight up there after beating the dragon. I faffed about a lot with quests and dungeons, so I'd gained a few levels by the time I went up there. Also I'll get a photo of my guy later.
  12. The Thalmor are such dicks. After having done Winterhold College's quest tree, a quest from Whiterun, and some of the main quest, and run into them a few times, I sincerely hope I get the opportunity to kick them out of Skyrim. Sorta like the Fighter's Guild quests in Oblivion with the Blackwood Company people.
  13. There are the Guardian Stones that you run into on your way to Riverwood at the beginning of the game if you follow the road, those being the Warrior, Mage and Thief stones. The rest are out in the wilderness. I've run into every other stone that I've found after the Guardian ones completely by accident.
  14. I'm using the Atronach stone. Absorbing spells into your magicka is actually quite fantastic, particularly when fire traps work as well. It's especially good when I'm low on magicka, some witch hurls lightning or fire at me and completely recharges my magicka, so I repay them by blasting them in the face with Lightning Bolt. Shock magic is awesome.
  15. They're not too bad once you're at around level 25, but yeah lower than that they're generally outrageously hard. Still, the drops are worth it. Just a tip though: don't sell or disenchant the masks when you collect them. There's a pseudo quest that requires all eight of them.
  16. Actually burst out laughing at that. So true.
  17. Shouts are awesome! I love Unrelenting Force, it's so simple yet it's oh so much fun. Blasted a Falmer into a wall yesterday, and it left me giggling for about a minute. Anyone else have a favoured shout?
  18. But that's the funniest bit! "I need you to go and get this for me. It's hidden on a cave guarded by undead, and..." "You mean this?" "...yes." I love doing that.
  19. Yeah, killing a chicken is an assault offense as far as the game is concerned. And the guards, being city guards, are pretty damn tough, so you've basically got buckleys there.
  20. The difficulty is default to medium, so if you find you're having trouble then you can turn the difficulty down.
  21. Basically, there's a few different schools of magic - from memory in Skyrim it's Destruction, Illusion, Alteration, Restoration, and Conjuration. Each school has its own skill level that goes up the more you use spells from that school. You can equip spells like weapons, so you could have a Healing spell in your left hand from the Restoration school, and a flamethrower in your right hand from Destruction. And that's basically it for spells. You can also have enchanted items that have effects based on certain spells.
  22. Oh that's quite doable. In fact I'm finding the Destruction spells loads of fun as a secondary weapon to my maces. Lodging an icicle in a bandit's face is so satisfying, particularly from range.
  23. Sound like a Dragon Priest. They're horrendously powerful, but they drop a magical mask that has fairly powerful enchantments on it. There's a few of then - twelve I think? - and I fought Volsung and took his mask.
