  1. I know CWU hasn't had a diary done on it, which is a problem I am getting ready to fix. :)

Somebody did a G2W diary a while ago, I can't exactly remember who. I want to say C-MIL did it but that's me grasping at straws. Other than that, I think ever single NWA run promotion has had some form of diary done for it.

  2. I'd think one of ECW, Motor City & WCW would die between the end of 08' and 10'. Would help the surviving two build their rosters and the areas of all three are very close.

It would have to be one of the first two. WCW was thriving as the top DVD seller during '08. Unless things just completely went shit house in the WCW camp, I wouldn't really buy it happening. Motor City has generally always gone belly up in the first year of playing '08 so I would say if one these had to die, it should be Motor City.

As for GLAM, killing it could b interesting since you can split up the roster and move them into TWE, Stampede and if you wanted have the leftovers join the Super Indy as a woman's division. Obviously TWE would only take the McMahon 'style' girls while the rest can bounce between Canada and the Indy of Doom.

    If GLAM dies, I riot.

I am more for Jericho getting his run with the NWA Title than I am with The Rock. Jericho was starting to get super over as a dick face in RFP back in '08. I think The Rock should be the big shake up to the TWE roster as his goofy babyface persona when he originally debuted, only this time he finds some way to pull it off and get over with it.

  3. Scott Steiner to bump Lesnar off the top of the mountain? So long as somebody else was the one to dethrone Brock and snap his undefeated streak before Steiner comes in and destroys whoever did it, I'd be all for it. Steiner was still working with his brother in RFP during '08.

I think more of a focus on the indys outside of the NWA would be helpful. I'd try to sit down and play with them but I found I just couldn't get into them as much as the NWA promotions. I'm not saying that they should over shadow the NWA or anything like that, but some sort of description would be immensely helpful.

  4. God, I hope Schaub whoops the crap out of Big Country. I was rooting for Marcus the whole way but he just couldn't that fight with Schaub and he got caught. I think Roy is going to win though. He'll come out and do what he's done the entire show and thats take Schaub down and lay on him.

I cannot wait to see Marcus put Mitrion on his ass though. I think I am looking forward to that fight the most.

  5. I got into screenplays this fall actually. I had to write a play for my creative writing class. I was pretty sure it sucked pretty hard but I had fun writing it. It's a one act play that takes place during the 1920's. One of those old detective stories that has an obscene amount of monologues.

I'd happily read and critique anything posted on here though. I enjoy reading screenplays more than I do writing them, but I know what to look for generally when it comes them. I suppose I could post my screenplay as well if it gets the ball rolling for everybody else.

  6. AHHHH, I need more school based comedy, I've seen School Rumble, Azumanga Daioh and Ouran High School Host club. All 3 are amazing, I need more. I just started watching Lovely Complex and while it seems to be pretty good, its not on par with the aforemention trifecta of amazement. Oh and I've seen Full Metal Panic all seasons. Which is sort of a school comedy :P. Oh and Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya. I think thats all of them

Am I missing something? A crucial anime that is too funny to miss? Please say so. I need laughter and I need it by the ton.

To answer your question, Green Green is pretty funny. Enjoyable but the story to its sort of... uninspired. But hilarity does ensue from the onset.

As for the Tenchi Muyo talk, I took on a pass on it after the original series. To many different plots and the overlay and the senseless... yeah. Passed on it. I am behind on anime's though. Anything good out right now?

  7. According to Wikipedia, the 13th episode is entitled "Sectionals" which is set to air on December 9th and is the mid-season finale. They are also suppose to do a live tour after the season is over as well.

  8. Terrific game last night between the Stars and Sharks. I was expecting the Stars to get totally dominated but they managed to pull it out in... A SHOOTOUT!

Huge comeback in the third period to tie it up. Then in the shootout, Robidas pulls out the winning shot. A defenseman pulls out the winning goal.

Tough two points against the toughest team in the NHL.

  9. Except that it has no correlation to what I was responding to.

Cause he's a fat ass that hasn't really shown me that he is could compete in the UFC.

2 fights on a television show, where fighters are put in an unfamiliar position of fighting 3 times in the course of SIX weeks. Like I mentioned, Roy has been open in interviews and on the show about his strategy during these early fights. Stay healthy, don't do anything stupid, and advance. He even told Dana that when he was asked about his next opponent and Dana said he didn't impress. He said if that was the Finale fight, it'd have been a lot more exciting. Anyway, I made my point. Weather he is impressing Dana or not makes no difference in TUF as long as he wins and keeps advancing... and being the heel of the season never hurt anyone, regardless of Dana not being impressed by his two performances - his stature in the MMA world, victories, and those wanting to watch him lose make him a watchable fighter who will be signed to the UFC post-TUF. From there on out it's up to the fighter's abilities.

You know what? If you want to go out there and say your the fucking best, that's fine. If you wanna piss people off that's fine. But for people like myself who very rarely venture out into other MMA promotions besides the UFC, this is your first impression on a mainstream MMA audience. MAKE AN IMPRESSION!

3 fights in six weeks. I can understand maybe not going all out, but seriously. Laying on somebody and throwing some weak punches that hardly look they are doing anything at all. Come on. I'll give Roy some credit. He's experienced and when he got into that second round, he knew he had to do something. Wren was gassed and he took advantage with the jab. But facts are facts. He looks fat, he hasn't really shown me that he would be a viable contender in the UFC and I don't think he's been all that impressive in this competition at all. Maybe he'll prove me wrong and show me something in his next fight, but other than that, I ain't impressed with him and I'd wish he'd get off my TV.
