  1. Losing Doug Free does suck. Losing any part of that O-Line is never a good thing. With Leary gone, as well, I wonder who Dallas will get to replace Free...unless they just play on putting someone else on the roster at that spot.
  2. The wife got me the Marvel Legendary board game for Valentine's Day (not sure why). Haven't been able to really stop playing it. Really good deck builder. A little on the easy side until I mixed in one of the expansion sets. Anyone else here try it?
  3. I just requested to join. Name's Kansas Kid 47.
  4. I just checked the remaining games and yes, Dallas can clinch home field next week with a Seattle loss...but they need Detroit to lose, as well. If Dallas wins next week, loses out and the Lions win out (including a week 16 win over Dallas), the Lions will have home-field. 2016...the year in NFL where Home-Field in the NFC is between the Cowboys and the Lions. 2016 is weird...
  5. I stated at the start of the season that if Alabama and Ohio State made it, I wasn't watching any of the playoff. Thanks, CFP, for helping me clear those days off my schedule. The main thing i'm pissed about (other than Penn State not making it over Ohio State) is that it's SO FUCKING OBVIOUS that the NCAA wants Alabama/Ohio State in the championship game. Ohio State should've been the 4 seed and played Alabama in the Semi-Final...at least I can continue watching the NFL with my Cowboys winning. I got that going for me.
  6. Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Washington are top 4, this week. Michigan and Wisconsin on the outside. It's honestly looking like regardless of how this week plays out, the CFP will have Ohio State in it. I hope not, but it's looking that way. I got Alabama over Florida for the SEC Championship, Oklahoma over Oklahoma State, Washington over Colorado for the PAC-12 Championship, Virginia Tech upsetting Clemson for the ACC Championship and Penn State over Wisconsin for the Big 10 Championship. Final ranking I can see would look like this. #1 Alabama, #2 Washington, #3 Ohio State, #4 Penn State...with #5 Michigan and #6 Clemson looking on the outside. The CFP COULD see Alabama and Ohio State in the title game (god, I hope not), but this is how I honestly see it shaping up.
  7. When I woke up Sunday morning, I got the alert on my phone. When I saw it, I legit got sick. Seeing something like that happen (no matter what age you are) is sickening. Loss of life, only 24 and just starting his potential HOF career. Just...nothing else to say. Rest in Peace, Jose.
  8. Yeah, good game. No matter what line-up I put out this week, I was fucked. Good job and hopefully, you can keep that momentum rolling into next week.
  9. As a die-hard Kansas fan (grew up there), it was great to get that win. Yeah, it was against Rhode Island, but it's our first win in 655 days. Probably our only win of the year, but great to see some players actually play good. I didn't agree with the field storming, but in the fans defense, first win in nearly 2 years.
  10. I guess I have Mr. Irreverent. So, with the final pick of the draft...Pierre Garcon, WR, Washington
  11. Sorry about that, guys. Work sucks. Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Jordan Cameron, TE, Miami @Slogger
  12. Dan Bailey, K, Dallas Houston Texans Defense I was gonna take him, @Slogger. Eh, it happens.
  13. Chris Ivory, RB, Jacksonville Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota @Slogger
  14. Allen Hurns, WR, Jacksonville DeAngelo Williams, RB, Pittsburgh @Slogger
  15. Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona Donte Moncrief, WR, Indianapolis @Slogger
  16. Hey, now...Brad Johnson is still kicking, isn't he? How about Stephen McGee? Wait...Drew Henson?!? All seriousness, hopefully Moore isn't home too long. Half the season, probably. Having McCown would make sense. We need an experienced QB who can go as the backup, but could still throw for starter numbers. THE Josh McCown makes the most sense...meaning Dallas will grab Josh Freeman or Manziel and piss off all Dallas fans...like @Maxx and myself.
  17. Batman & Robin (Batman Forever I love and I don't believe it's a bad movie), Street Fighter, The Room (duh), Ready To Rumble (I WILL RULE YOU!!!)
  18. I saw it last night at an employee screening at my theatre. Was it better than BVS? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Kinda, yes. Would I see it again? Umm...no. Movie was just...ok for me. Everyone else that watched it (around 30 other employees) all jumped up and down when it was done, saying it was one of the best DC movies ever made. Mind you, almost everyone there are DC fans (and flat out HATE Marvel movies), you can see why. Also, got asked what I thought of the movie, said it was ok and got called an idiot and that I didn't know what a good movie was. Anyways, important thing, it was ok. Margot Robbie was great as Quinn and I liked Leto as the Joker (all about 10 minutes of him). Other than that, didn't really like anything else...well, Viola Davis was awesome because...Viola Davis. The ones who haven't got to see it yet, you'll like it. You might not love it, but it is worth a watch.
  19. New York Jet WR Brandon Marshall Washington TE Jordan Reed @Slogger
  20. I'm not taking Gostkowski number 1. Not THAT dumb. But, since I have to work tomorrow and won't be able to look at my phone all shift, I can kick this draft off. I choose Minnesota RB Adrian Peterson @Slogger You up
  21. If possible, i'm in again, this year...not gonna draft a Kicker in the 3rd round, this time...
  22. We don't suck...we just don't have anything passed Butler (maybe McDermott). I mean, as of right now, starting line-up is looking like Butler, Valentine, McDermott, Mirotic and Lopez. Not playoff looking, but if McDermott keeps getting better and Valentine really does break out, there could be a chance in the next couple of years. Also, I got an alert on my phone from Bleacher Report that even Chicago are going after Dwayne Wade. Really don't see that happening, but Wade around to help out the young guys could work next season.
