Yuuuuuup, it's bullshit! Luckily, that one's just backstage brawls and they're very easy to just straight up cheese. Just grab a weapon and keep on hitting them. I think you can adjust the difficulty settings too, and do it even quicker. Also, the Swampfather tower is the worst. The damn handicap match is awful, but of course you don't have to do that one if you're only interested in unlocking The Fiend from the pack.

You have to unlock The Fiend through his towers mode showcase thing under 2K Originals.

I've been on a bit of a movie kick recently, watched The Other Guys, Stranger than Fiction, Four Psychopaths, The Big Short, Snatch and Limitless in the last 5 days. The Other Guys was a lot of fun. Really stupid, but it's a satire and has Will Ferrell in it so I'm not shocked. Good stuff. Stranger than Fiction is a complete departure from Will Ferrell's usual stuff but I really, really enjoyed it. I didn't go in with particularly high expectations and maaaaaaybe at times it is a bit ridiculous but it's nice. It's heartfelt. Emma Thompson is in it, as well, and she's great. Four Psychopaths was good too! I expected it to be, as it had the same director as In Bruges and the same main star too, of course. I think I'd probably prefer In Bruges to it, but I haven't seen that in a while so I'd have to rewatch it, and I mean... they're different films so there's not really any need to compare. Snatch was alright, yeah. I dunno. I expected to enjoy it more but I guess at times it didn't grab my attention too much. I can't really place it why but maybe it was just that my expectations were higher. It wasn't bad or anything, and I can't even place what I didn't really like about it, which is annoying! Limitless was fun. I liked it a lot. The ending was alright but also miles and miles better than the ending of Lucy (of course no spoilers but URGH), which shares the same basic plot in that there's a powerful drug which enables 100% capability of your brain (even if everyone already has use of 100% of their brain in real life anyway) but it explains a lot more? Things happen for a reason and... there are side effects to the drug? and everything seems a lot more fleshed out... and things make more sense in general, I suppose, in a science fiction kind of way. Also, oh, I didn't realise Limitless actually came out before Lucy. That's some pointless information I have now.

But also apparently that might not be true either! I dunno, I've had a look and I just sorta took a Reddit post about it as gospel... but it seems like it's not actually Sony policy but just depends on the agent you talk to as sometimes they might be willing to give a refund but a lot of people are getting their refunds refused as well.

Apparently that's a Sony thing as they offer a one-time refund on digital purchases, and not because of the state of the game.

Yeah, I'd probably look to get 2K19 if I were you. 2K18 was alright, but 2K19 had a lot of QoL improvements compared to it, and you can pick it up for pretty cheap still.

Oh, they're in a 'potential rivalry', so I guess that's it. I guess I messed with it by accidentally breaking out then!! This one's definitely a bug: I simmed to the next PPV... and The Usos are the women's tag champs now.

So... in universe mode I just had Shayna Baszler vs. Mia Yim. I started the match, potentially accidentally broke out during Shayna's entrance (as I selected to play as Mia Yim)... and then Candice LeRae comes out! And I'm controlling her! And then we fight, I throw Shayna into the ring... and beat her up a little bit in anticipation for the match to begin... and then the match doesn't start. It gets called off? Because of a... DQ? I suppose? But, no! Candice won! Despite Shayna not hitting me with any moves and us both being in the ring? Oh, also, it was a title match and Mia Yim was the champ. But she wasn't in the match at all.

Apparently nobody has the day one patch yet, so I'm kinda holding out hope that it'll fix up a few of the most major bugs.

Apparently a new version of Ciampa's entrance where he walks a lot slower is also in the game, just not his default one for some reason.

Never mind, maybe Lio Rush isn't in! His photo was removed from the roster page! Also, I seem to remember Tyler Bate from last year's game looking bad in previews but looking fine in game, so hopefully Shirai doesn't look as bad in action?

Never mind, Lio Rush is in! Shame about the lack of Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe, though. I'll miss Vader and Bam Bam as well.

I don't think we're getting any current stars DLC, it's possible, but it seems to me like they're focusing on this 2K Originals stuff which seems like it's gonna be alternate versions of people already on the roster.

So I'm about halfway through this video and so far the only new name is Molly Holly, but there's a lot of entrance footage. I'll edit this post when I hear more (unexpected, or legend) names. EDIT: We get non-Bludgeon Brother attire Harper as well.Brian Kendrick is back in and Jaxson Ryker is in too. That seems like it's pretty much it for the new people in this game that weren't previously announced. A bunch of the roster is shown at the end of the video in text, and they're all in the spoilers below (but it's not the full roster, as they announced some within the video but most of them were already known or obvious inclusions anyway). Oh yeah, they started the roster reveal today. So far, we've heard that Trent Seven, Sami Zayn, Tucker, Kalisto and Billie Kay are all in. So that's... 4 people we knew would be in, and Trent Seven right now. Good. They're doing the reveals on random international 2K twitter accounts by the looks of it, at apparently random times or something.

Oh yeah, the Mixed Match Challenge tournament option was announced pretty early on.

Tommaso Ciampa, Io Shirai, Toni Storm, Jerry Lawler, X-Pac all confirmed from the trailer. That's fun. Excited to have X-Pac back! Also, Zombie Sasha Banks! I wonder how the legends roster is going to look at this point.

You didn't need to be snarky about me being interested in the roster though!! Of course I know that the main roster guys are going to be in, I edited my comment just after posting to clarify. Humberto Carillo is kind of a surprise, though. They generally don't put that much work into the 205 Live roster, like how Buddy Murphy wasn't in last year while he was the Cruiserweight champ by the time the game released. I just want different, new legends. Gimme Yokozuna and Demolition or something. I suppose we're losing out on DDP this year, though, which is a shame.

Imagine someone having different interests from you! Wild idea! I've figured that it's so late in without much news that the gameplay itself isn't going to be any different and I don't hold out much hope for new interesting modes, so I was hoping we'd at least get some good inclusions like NXT: UK stars or new legends.

Yeah, it's ridiculous that we still know nothing on the roster.
