I was playing the exact same match type earlier! They're a lot of stupid fun. I love big multi-man matches. Also, I realised the game's a lot more fun if you turn off reversal limits. WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG?

Also, I'm playing a Royal Rumble now. Selected Aleister Black, drew #1, got eliminated first. Then ended up as Dean Ambrose, got eliminated pretty quickly... now I'm playing as Mr. McMahon and have eliminated Curt Hawkins, Karl Anderson, Drew McIntyre, Booker T and John Cena. Beautiful. I really didn't want to win, but was going to try my hardest to. I ended up getting to the final 2 against Velveteen Dream (one of my preferred winners out of the entire field!) and losing, so that was fun. I just lost a fatal 4-way match by DQ. WHY ARE DQs ON BY DEFAULT IN MULTI-MAN MATCHES?! EDIT: Oh? They aren't. Must've just been a universe mode glitch.

Ladder match AI is apparently really rubbish. I managed to win a match (as Taker) against Lesnar in about a minute on legend difficulty. I instantly grabbed a ladder and just started the minigame, and instead of pulling the ladder down, Brock would just keep on climbing so I just punched him before he got to the top of the ladder and he'd just instantly fall off after one punch every. single. time.

I've got a hell of a lot of PS4 games that I traded other games out for that I just haven't touched. Infamous Second Son, Uncharted Collection, Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls... it's kinda terrible, but I also didn't really spend any money on any of them directly so I don't feel too bad about it. There's also Agents of Mayhem, Last Of Us, Wipeout and Destiny which I did pay real money for and haven't touched at all. Oops.

Yeah, seriously. I'd rather see the older ones remastered than Absolution. Absolution's the only Hitman game I've completed but it hasn't been out for long enough to really warrant an HD remaster in my eyes. I suppose it's good for those that want it on PS4/Xbox One, but still. Full price for it is nonsense. The Crash Bandicoot and Spyro remasters weren't really full price (IIRC?) on release and they both included more games, probably a fair bit more work, and there was much more a demand for them as well.

Spider-Man and Smash Bros. Ultimate for sure. Definitely haven't played anywhere near enough RDR2 yet.

Na, the DLC is under a separate title under the trophies menu, so while it does have trophies, you don't need them to get the platinum.

There are multiple dead ends and stuff, it gives you a choice of two (or sometimes just the one) endings to go back to if you want to explore other endings if you didn't get the ending you desired or just want to go through it all for the sake of being a completionist, basically. You don't really get to change any decisions until you've reached some kind of ending, though.

Bandersnatch is wonderful. I may have already gone through and completed all the endings (without a guide, too!). I thought it was real good!

I accidentally completed one of the endings in World of Light without realising and now I guess I can't complete any other endings? Oh. That's disappointing. Yeah, the mode was kinda flat and if I'm not able to complete the proper ending then it all feels like a bit of a waste of time tbh. EDIT: okay never mind, it's possible to do more than one ending.

The Lego Hobbit game is free on Humble as well.

I was under the impression that Smash Ultimate characters unlocked in a random order when unlocking through game time in Vs. mode... apparently this is not true but some sites still report this? Seems it's in a set order for that, but then through World of Light and Classic Mode you can unlock them in an order that changes depending on how/who you play as.

Basically, yeah. You can do 5 vs 5 or 3 vs 3 and each team member takes on a member of the opposing team in 1 vs 1 battles, and it's winner stays on. You can do it so you have team mate 1 vs opposing team mate 1, team mate 2 vs opposing team mate 2, and so on, or you can have a winner stays on system.

Oh yeah, but I've had it where I've only had one challenger that I lost to, and the door wouldn't come up for a while. I tended to avoid letting them stack up because I wanted to get them all as soon as possible Being in battles in World of Light counts toward the in-game clock as well, I found, but only registers after you quit out that game mode entirely for the new challengers appearing. They don't stack either, so you can play for an hour and only get one challenger approaching if you're not careful!! Probably best to quit out on occasion while playing the World of Light mode in order to maximise challengers if you're mainly playing it to unlock all fighters, like me.

Yeah, unlocking Pit was a pain. I struggled beating King Dedede and Wolf as well. A couple of them I ended up freeing in World of Light before I had to chance to beat them in the challenger's approach, and that takes a lot longer to do for most of the roster, but it's a lot easier because you can just field your most powerful team and have infinite attempts instead of having to wait 10 minutes to retry (I think that's when the option reappears) if you lose.

Unlocked the full roster. Think it's time to give Smash a rest for a day or so now, been on it basically the entire time since I got it!

A new challenger appears after every 10 minutes of in-match/game time (not just on the main menus or anything, but actually in battles and whatnot). You can also unlock characters by freeing their spirits (i.e. defeating them in a battle) in the story mode.

Smash is great. I, on the other hand, am terrible. I think I'm most of the way through the story mode now? I can't really tell? But I've sunk something like 13 hours into already and unlocked most of the roster.

There's an option on the pause menu called 'Controller assignment' and you can add/remove players or switch who you're playing as at any time (provided the option isn't greyed out, which happens sometimes).

you can! you can always switch who you're playing as even when you haven't been eliminated.
