In Too Deep by Sum 41.
I love Sum 41, Blink, those kinds of bands. They took off in Australia when I was in my impressionable 13's, 14's and 15's. That was ME, maaan. I was THERE.
What I've Done by Linkin Park.
Linkin Park are one of my favourite bands of all time. I don't care that the words turned emo. I don't believe in the lyrics, I just sing em.
Dragula (This song was not tagged by me and I take no responsibility for it's potential mis-naming) by Rob Zombie
I quite enjoy this song - I came across it in boarding school. Not sure why, as RZ is nowhere near what i'd call a favourite artist of mine.
Cats in the Cradle - Cat Stevens version
Interestingly, I never used to get along with my dad, until I went away to boarding school...then I became a slack bludging bastard. I wasn't capable of listening to the song from 2000-2006. Now that I don't feel like a big disappointment to my family, I can enjoy this fine song as much as I like
Red to Black by Fort Minor
Came to The Rising Tied for Mike Shinoda. Stayed for Fort Minor. Fantastic Album imo. Like LP above (ironically) I don't believe in all of the lyrics, but good songs all the same. Good song to sing to, especially the end bit.
Defy You by The Offspring
The Offspring are quite awesome, and this song is really good for amping myself up.
For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic by Paramore
I discovered Misery Business on NHL 08, asked for the album for Christmas, got it and....Wow. Paramore are fucking fantstic. (Benji has no taste)
Book of Days by Enya
I would call Enya one of my guilty pleasures, but I am absolutely not ashamed. Beautiful music coupled with her voice.. it is uplifting and relaxing all at the same time. Utterly sublime from start to finish. One Step, One Fall, One Falter...I'll find my day maybe...Far and Away...Far and Away
She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
Maroon 5 are another of my favourite bands. Easy to listen to, easy to sing along with. Relaxing times all-around.
Shiver by RHCP
Yes, I can't spell it. My favourite band of all time, and one of my favourite so-fuckit, I love pretty much everything they do. The Peppers can't put a foot wrong in my book.
