Fuck, are you serious? Jesus, I would take that deal in a fraction of a heartbeat of a second Why? Cam Barker has failed to stick with the Chicago Blackhawks, and they are desperate for someone who can either pass on the powerplay or someone who possess a good shot and knows how to use it. Barker was supposed to bring those to the table, and although he is still young, someone drafted early and touted to have those skills should be able to earn some minutes with a team that is desperate for a player with those talents. Barker has not impressed this season at all. If Chicago sweetened the pot with someone like Micheal Blunden or Dave Bolland, that would be a great deal. I seriously doubt that the Hawks would want to lose either of those guys though. Don't get greedy

So i'm listening to the Habs game. Basha, Komisaurus hasn't caught on yet. They advertised a Habs/Wings alumni game..sponsored by viagra. Which is just highly ironic when you think about it.

Basha said this during one of our good-natured "your team is crap"..."No, YOUR team is crap!" arguements. Basha pointed out that the Habs were 4th in the conference, and that we were struggling in 9th. I've lately realised that the Habs and Avs are keeping on realtively equal points totals...and now the Avs leap into first in the division, and thus top 3 in the conference. In sum: Habs STILL suck, Basha. It's great that your team is 4th in your conference. A conference that had our 13th-placed team been in it, would be a mere point outside of the playoffs. You must be real proud of ybeing so high in such a competitive environment! *needles some more*

Paramore. The Riot! album on loop on my ipod while I work.

I Linkin Park. The album copped a lot of beats when it was released, so I held off for a while. But when I heard Bleed It Out, I went out and bought the album in a matter of days. My main issue with is it the complete and utter lack of the goodness that is Mike Shinoda, and one of his two songs is wrapped up in token anti-Bush bullcrap. With that said “With hands held high under the sky so blue until the ocean opens up to swallow you” is quite good for mellowing out when I’ve had a rough day at work. Aside from Hands Held High, and In Between…which kinda suck, I thought the album was great. It’s more emo yes, but I don’t believe the lyrics, I just sing along with ‘em.

Last time the Leafs played Crosby, Toskala tripped him as he went through the crease and Crosby banged his ankle on the post. He went down and clutched his knee...then when he was skating off he was back to the ankle. Funniest thing I've ever seen, mainly due to Toskala sending him flying and being all non-chalant about it.
