  1. That's Don't Go Into The Basement Monster Blood 2
  2. nobody wants that hammy. Can you picture it? Lots of overtaking, everyone having a chance of winning the title, the best driver winning it, not the man in the best car. *shudders*
  3. But hammy an even budget woud lead to an level playing field and that is COMPLETLY against Ferrari's vision of Formula One
  4. Found a load of the episodes of youtube (watching One Day at Horrorland right now). I remember reading damn near all the original Goosebumps books as a kid (Monster Blood ftw) and the tv show was always on during the weekend, so I was wondering if anyone else bar me liked the series and if you did, which did you prefer the book or the tv show? I had to go with the books. They were what I got into first and just seemed better than the tv show (which just didn't seem as scary as the books were)
  5. While Hamilton didn't have the greatest of sessions, this years McLaren is an absolute dog. It's just a slightly updated dog now (but everyone else seems to have updated their cars more than McLaren)
  6. if someone had said to you at the start of last season that Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel would be battling for the title, you'd of had them committed. That aside.. GO VETTEL!
  7. There's showing sprit and there's outright abusing a ref. Argue wiht him yes, but what Ballack and Drogba did was way, way, WAY over the line
  8. Since they should of had at least one penalty (two or three maybe), I did feel sorry for Chelsea... Right until they turned into a buch of spoilt children. That was an absolute disgrace. First Balack screaming at the ref for twenty yards (seemingly doing the 'not touching you, can't get mad!' with his hands, though fair play to the ref for ignoring him). Then the entire team surround him bitching and Drogba come charging in screaming at the ref, pushing security staff out the way and seemingly wanting to lamp the ref. Yes, you're annoyed about the decision, yes the ref had a few bad calls but what they did was shocking. Chelsea showed right there how little class they really have.
  9. Paul Stoddart has also expressed an interest in returning to F1. He applied for the 12th grid spot in 2008 (With the Minardi name) but t was given to Prodrive (who didn't use it)
  10. I could have sworn that was how Barnet got relegated in 2001, thanks to a goal keeper scoring for Carlisle in stoppage time. Unless that happened to Scarborough too.
  11. John Higgins seems to be determined to throw this match away, from 13-3 to 15-12
  12. they'll have to serve this ban, then I assume they'll get another suspended ban in case of FURTHER lying and cheating (stealing's optional)
  13. So Mclaren basically get a slap on the wrist for lying to the stewards. Justice done my arse. They won't get punished unless they break the rules again, that'll show 'em!
  14. no, he's scoreless in 39 games for Newcastle. In fact he's only scored 45 goals in 272 games in his career, not great for a striker, but he does play a lot in midfield these days.
  15. Good save. You stole Johnny's line Clearly the line is there only as a helpful suggestion. Fergie told the linesman that in his opinion the line had been painted too far forward and the linesman accepted this. Clearly.
  16. He did sign a contract with William to join them in 2006 but when BMW bought Sauber he claimed that this meant Williams wouldn't be as competative as he thought when he signed the contract, so he had the right to stay at BAR. Williams claimed otherwise (having this crazy idea that he had to honour his contract, Frank you so crazy) and Button/Honda had to pay $30 Million to get him out of it. Then rewarded by giving him shite cars for the next few years. With Renault, he drove one year in a crap-tastic Benneton before they bought the team, the spent the next being beaten in qualifying by Trulli but having the better of him on race day. However they replaced Button with Alonso (who was their test driver at the time) before the 2003 season and Button moved to BAR. Seemed harsh because Button scored more points than Trulli.
  17. But European football wasn't. In that time you had a lot of team winning the CL two or three years on the trot. These days that hasn't been done since Milan's double in 89-90. Edit: And Eddie, sorry about Feyenoord, ran out of options on the poll
  18. Basically the other poll up for this question sucks and misses out several great sides so I did a more detailed one. Also hoping this leads to nice discussion about what teams were the best. My Choices: Multi - Real Madrid (1998, 2000, 2002). One Year - Manchester United 1999. Overall Real Madrid. Why? The second Real side managed to win the Champions League consistantly in the modern era, which is much more difficult to do than when they did in the 50's. Manchester United in 1999 was proberly the best United side ever, with people like Beckham, Giggs, Scholes and Neville at their peak, along with Keane and Teddy. Overall You can't argue with Real's 9 titles, even if five of them were from an era than wasn't as competative as todays.
  19. How long until Johnny turns up claiming to have meant to put a at the end of every one of his post?
  20. Clearly not after that performance. Damn that Howard Webb for handing United the title in one game And damn those Tottenham fans for being annoyed that they had all their momentum killed off in one moment! They should be honoured to be on the same pitch as United, like Howard Webb was. It would have been rude to go to Old Trafford and not give a dodgy penalty to United. I'm sorry Hugo, I was blinded by the foolish blasphemy of fair play. Let us all worship at the altar of Sir Alex Ferguson. I knew I was going to regret not putting a at the end of my post. And please. Fair play? Old Trafford?

  22. and the back to back Euorpean Cup winning Nottingham Forest side isn't there bacause?
  23. I thought if they finished in the bottom three they would start next year on -10. Where's this -15 stuff coming from?
  24. Am really tempted to go to Rock Am Ring this year just for sheer amount of people playing there. The Prodigy, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Bloc Party, Limp Bizkit, Billy Talent, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Kettcar, Killswitch Engage, Mando Diao, Peter, Björn & John, Peter Fox, Placebo, Polarkreis 18, Scouting For Girls, Slipknot, The Kilians, The Killers, The Kooks, The Subways, Tomte, Trivium, and Volbeat. Plus load of others (e.g. MADNESS!). 135 euro for three days of that sounds like a fucking bargain. Would be my first festival, but what a first!
