  1. But what are you basing that off of? If X-Pac showed up on RAW next week, more people would know who he is than Nigel McGuinness. That is true but I am sure that Nigel's overness would be adjusted a lot more easily when he is on WWE. Many people watch WWE and TNA on here but you have less who input on the indies (which cause often over-rated wrestler stats because of lack of views.) If Nigel and X-Pac showed up at an indy, they would get the same reaction because most if not all fans are the hardcore fans.
  2. TNA has a standard 1 million televised which is in between 1/3 and 1/4 of WWE's standard rating for RAW, similarly TNA's largest attended shows are at about half the size of the general WWE shows. However most of the TNA guys are more over than the average WWE guys. Some WWE guys are just not over while TNA guys like the Bro-Mans still have pretty over reactions despite being midcard at best. Nigel was pretty over in TNA for a bit of time before his hepatitis outbreak that forced his retirement and pretty over with ROH for a long time. Now I am not sure if he is more over than X-Pac but he isn't worth a 50, a 60 would be fine. The same with Steen and the Briscoes.
  3. Has that been confirmed? I've heard rumours that he's redebuting but nothing concrete. Luchablog said he has finished up his two year stint in Mexico's CMLL in an update today.
  4. Thoughts on one of the spoilers. and The Estonian Thunderfrog is Also rumored that Jervis Cottonbelly is either a Student or It seems that The Shard seems to be Confirmed, not sure about the others. Do as you wish wih the information More names: My thought is in the spoiler CZW Cage of Death & ROH Final Battle'13 spoilers He was talking about Rory who was known as Little Mondo dating back to the days Sick Nick was still wrestling and Rory was just a friend. FYI, Rory said that he was retiring. I would wait regarding this "spoiler" from PWInsider.com Namajague has left CMLL to return to Japan for New Japan.
  5. Flair, Goldberg, Steiner second time round to an extent, Luger went straight into a program with Perfect, Foley straight against Undertaker. I'm sure there'll be others earlier than that. Warrior? When there was a big alternative you could use those guys as stars. Foley was the only non champion out of that list and was completely redone. Luger was repackaged too but he was put into an upper-card program to start (then moved onto a Bret Hart house show feud.) Flair was pushed to the top same as Goldberg and Steiner. I agree steals were bigger back in the attitude era and even the territory days but that doesn't mean TNA guys couldn't be treated as big deals, and I am not even talking about the former WWE guys. A majority of TNA guys now are on written deals because they lock them up to prevent them to be on IPPV (mainly for DGUSA and ROH) except OVW guys (due their previous relationship.) The majority of the talent who have open deals are in OVW. This includes Hannah Blossom, Holly Blossom, Jessie, Lie'D Tapa, Rob Terry, Rockstar Spud, Sam Shaw and Taryn Terrell. Everyone else is under written deals now.
  6. I think Anarchy had a hardcore fan push it up an then with the other north east indies, somebody had the same logic. Compare this to say Mexico where AAA and CMLL talent are actually legit over with pretty big venues. I do agree though, we should lower the other indies to regional or small. No it isn't, if only because that "credo" clearly doesn't even exist. Actually it was why the American Wolves were not pressed on their initial tryout (I think in September.) They only got their recent one when Regal stuck his neck out for them because they are "too good not to sign." Add in the logic that Daniel Bryan was too small to sell Summer Slam and you have a sound WWE logic of having "too many small guys."
  7. I still argue TNA is cult. They can get pretty decent crowds for their big PPVs and even television tapings on the road. Now was it WCW sized venues, no. It was more or less AHL sized hockey arenas (think the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT) that you get nearly 9,000 people at a full sell out. It ended up getting 6K in normal cases which is larger than DGUSA and ROH could ever get. Which is why I argue that TNA is cult being they would be regional.
  8. I wouldn't say TNA is regional borderline cult, it's more cult borderline national. Promotions like ROH, CZW, DGUSA and all the other "cults" are more regional and only promote in a few neighboring states or states they actually do good business in. This would leave AAA and CMLL as national, which they are in Mexico. As for the "the only TNA wrestlers would goto WWE are X, Y, Z" logic, that is taking the modern WWE credo tat they have too many small guys so they wont hire X. As for debuts only go into the midcard, most have. The only I can think of who were instant stars were Hogan in 84, Big Show and Jericho in 99, the Radicalz in 00 and The Shield in 12. Every other initial debut in WWE were midcard acts at best. That doesn't mean say an AJ Styles would be treated as just a midcarder upon debut and get the huge Jericho style intro.
  9. I disagree, Cena has good promos when he is serious but Punk is good doing any type of promo. TLC Spoilers
  10. Final Battle Notes: Court Bauer should be added to ROH, he is handling marketing efforts now.
  11. AAA Spoilers from Guerra de Titanes 2013: Titan's over should be at 58. Raise Vangelis' charisma to 62.
  12. The Shield were mercenaries with no clear reason. The Nexus were pretty much angry young men who were put through crap in NXT for the contract. Crowe is a hacker. There is no best fit gimmick for him.
  13. In NXT news, Kalisto and Solomon Crowe have both made their debuts. Crowe is a hacker using a tablet to enter and exit. Not sure what would be gimmick wise.
  14. As of right now Hunico is Sin Cara and the original Sin Cara is set to be headed to unemployment (and likely AAA.) However... The former Psicosis II changed his name once again from from Psico/Psyco Ripper to Reaper.
  15. Why not duchebag? Oh wait that isn't a gimmick. I guess make him Arrogant.
  16. Remove Volador Jr. from any stables in CMLL and make him face. He fully rejoined the technicos now.
  17. Maybe Hall, Nash and X-Pac should be loyal to eachother. Hunter and HBK probably too. But are Hunter and HBK really that close to the three aforementioned guys? Or is Justin Credible that close to any of the aforementioned guys? Hypothetically, do you really think HHH or HBK would leave WWE if they re-hired Pac or Hall for a Nostalgia Run and fired them? Because from reading this thread this is what a loyality relationship implies in this game. If I remember the story correctly, Justin was originally brought into WWF after ECW folded by his relationship with HHH. Obviously I would say it's a friendship but I wouldn't say it is loyalty. The same can be said about the Shane Douglas "hatred" for the Kliq. I think dislike is perfectly fine.
  18. The Bravados are the new DGUSA tag team champions and should be heel. The Young Bucks should be faces in DGUSA. Volador Jr. is the new Historic Welterweight champion for CMLL. Rename Vangelis to Vangellys and raise his overness to 48.
  19. Terry Funk is not in the data. I'M LYING TO MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER! 1) I'm going to defer to other people's knowledge on this, but as mentioned the Tough Enough/Al Snow relationships should almost all be removed unless there's evidence of them being closely linked after the conclusion of their respective series'. Elsewhere, Snuka and The Rock are probably related by marriage (I think both are part of the large Samoan family), I'd keep that loyalty in and Joe E Legend with Rhino, Christian and Edge would seem to stem from early in their careers, it's likely they'd still have some form of friendship from those days. 2) Um... not sure what you've been reading, just about everyone has been agreeing that some workers, relationships and tag teams should be deleted, and playability is definitely more important. We're not going in circles and for the most part, getting quite close to making decisions on what could be done with minimal negative impacts. 1) I would also keep the Edge & Christian with Sinn Bowdi relationship and even the Roberts-Bowdi relationship. If anyone read the Edge book you know of a character in their high school group that was in their group named "fatty." Sinn is that fatty. The Samoan family tree is muddy but let's put it this way, the Snukas, the Fifitas (Haku, his son Tama Tonga and adopted son Camacho), The Barbarian and his niece Lei'D Tapa are NOT in the Anoai family. However, pretty tight with the Anoai's so rather than being blood relationships make them loyalties because say if you ran a standard Joe-Blow indy in real life and fired one (without cause) you would likely have them all leave on you. A promotion with actual contracts like say DGUSA, RoH, TNA or WWE, probably not. 2) That's issue. Some people want the data macheted. I would just rather see control on the tag teams and most of the Joe Blome went to a John Smith training seminar so he should have training ticked (let's put it this way besides Punk (who has a legit relationship with say William Regal) the CHIKARA trainees and say Mexico and Japanese trainers, many be "greatful" for the training but not nessecarily loyal.) Friendships as well are kinda of weak especially the Art of Wrestling ones where Colt has like 100 friends. Not doubting he can't have that many but say the WWE guys he had (Dolph, Gallows, Bryan, Trent, Hawkins, Ryder, ect.) he had relationships with in the past whether it was developmental or what not but say Mike Roselli, he may not. It will be tough wading through all of them. Edit: The issue is somebody may have written off say Cory Kastle because he was last heard of I think in 2005. Don't get me wrong, the game is bloated with some questionable entries. Think of Mini Machine, El Migdeto and that Mr. Scream as well as the Nitro Girls and models who never even were used in angels that are kept in because they are "hot." Cory Kastle has started wrestling again, or so his Facebook says. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK1B-fiTPU4 That was why I mentioned him earlier. Why, because he last wrestled in the mid '00s and then had brain cancer before fighting it and being able to return to the ring. Compare this to say Matt Cappotelli who is likely done for the same reason and has been out for the same amount of time.

  21. ...then I'd say it would've been perfectly sensible to delete him and then put him back in the data eight years later. And we would need to find their stats again and/or come up with new stats. It saves time and effort just keeping them in as non-workers until they return. It saves effort, yes, but time is debatable, as the example you brought up in Brian XL is the exception rather than the rule. The time thing I really disagree with, the time taken for the game to process data is reduced by removing workers, etc... from the data, can you think of anybody else like Brian XL who has left the business for more than 5 years and returned? BJ Whitmer retired for two or three years before returning (prior to his recent career ending injury.) Terry Funk (pretty sure he is still in the data) has retired and unretired so many times though he hasn't been quite as active as he was even in the beginning of the 2000's. Brother YASSHI retired in 2009/10 before returning earlier this year. Cory Kastle (due to cancer.)

  23. Remove Dragon Kid from DGUSA, he hasn't appeared for the company since 2011. Add Dalys and Dalys La Caribena as alter egos for Dalis La Caribena. Comandante Pierroth (currently in the game as Poder Mexica) should be renamed to Pierroth II. Add Dark Spiritu as an alter ego for Dark Espiritu.
  24. By this logic Brian XL should have been deleted before returning to the ring in 2011. He was inactive from about 2003 until 2011. I do agree, a good number of the IWS guys have pretty much retired after that promotion ended (if the person wasn't gone already.)
