  1. I, for one can't wait to hear the same four Shulk phrases being repeated over and over and over again. WHAT A BUNCH OF JOKERS
  2. Apparently a bid from Villa has been accepted. Plus I'm hearing Kagawa is nearing a move back to Dortmund. I mean, what the hell? Are they aware that if Carrick or Herrera gets a knock they'll have to resort to players who played in the 4-0 loss to MK Dons? Not that I'm complaining though
  3. Wizardry, also known as £40 million or so. It's far too late in the transfer window for Juventus to sell, and even if they do sell, they'd be taking United to the cleaners, not accepting some slightly overvalued price for him considering he's at his peak. Juventus aren't the richest club in the world, but they'd be seriously hampering their Champions League hopes and chances of winning Serie A when right now they're already in a patchy state because of the new manager.
  4. Why the heck would United deplete their midfield even further? I mean even if by some wizardry they get Vidal, I'd expect them to keep everyone else just for bulking out the squad because they'd still be only an injury or two away from having a squad that's even more unbalanced than last season.
  5. I don't get why Chelsea aren't going all out to get Loic Remy. They need a player to fill a gap that would be fairly cheap and good enough when needed but wouldn't mind sitting on the bench when he isn't, and I can't think of a better player that fits those criteria than Remy.
  6. Costa's picked up a hamstring injury and will take around 3 months to recover. Sun reported it about half an hour ago and since then the Telegraph has picked up on it so it looks fairly legit.
  7. Bullshit, City and United have been better equipped than Arsenal in recent years yet neither of them came close to winning it.
  8. I've nothing against Arsenal but I hope they lose because it's so irritating to see four English reps getting through every time at the expense of an interesting foreign team. I mean when was the last time a team messed up their Champions League play off after coming fourth? Everton?
  9. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> #5 is not an accepable striker's number!!
  10. He's still a terrible manager, but now I want to see him smash the everlasting shit out of QPR before inevitably getting relegated.
  11. Mario Kart 8 was already a solid 8-9 out of 10 but now it's edging closer to the 10. The main criticism I had with it was the lack of stats and I got sick of the same few tracks after a while, but with the Mercedes DLC thing this Thursday they'll be adding stats, and with that DLC thing they've fixed the tracks from getting too stale.
  12. The flipside is that if he played the strongest starting 11 and someone got injured (like Kagawa did today but someone more important to the first team) everyone would be asking him why he played a needlessly strong team against a League 1 side. He couldn't win, which is great because on paper this is the easiest game he'll play this season and they got tonked 4-0.
  13. He should have substituted the goalkeeper when they were 2-0 down. That'll learn them!
  14. https://twitter.com/LegiaWarszawa/status/504366868678057985 Ok can a mod just put me out of my misery and fix this.
  15. Anyone know what Kagawa's injury looked like? It'd be remarkable schadenfreude if they get Di Maria and lose Kagawa for the season on the same day.
  16. Nice picture but what's the deal with the tacky news ticker and hashtags?
  17. What annoys me the most about the Di Maria deal is everyone calling him a 'winger' Like did anyone actually see him completely dominate the midfield once Ancelotti moved him from the wing to the centre? He's exactly what Manchester United need but if they're thinking of playing him on the wing then they'd be completely wasting him like they seem to be doing with Mata.
  18. The West Ham way is talking about how their team singlehandedly won England the World Cup, spending the entire match chanting about gassing Spurs fans and topping it off by kicking someone's head in.
  19. It's be pretty funny if that's the actual fee agreed. Because United are doing exactly what Man City did a few years back and were absolutely hammered for.
  20. Well yeah, but there's the truth and there's the truth. It's like how stadium announcer people don't give the man of the match award to the striker of the other team who scored 5 goals, you don't say that the other team is more likely to win, you say that your team is in trouble but could still win this.
  21. If you take the entire first team and reserve squad of Spurs out of the equation then they're the worst team in the league.
  22. Manchester United already 5 points behind in the title race...
  23. Problem is if you have two wrestlers both hitting each other for 10 seconds, even though the smaller guy will have put in more hits, he'd still have done less damage than the other guy. Maybe some people like hitting someone a few times and then running away and then hitting them a few more times and so on and so on for an hour, but it's just really boring.
