  1. I'd say either Conine or Wil Cordero plays first base for Florida.
  2. Trades have been quiet so far. Mets have made two trades: Scott Kazmir and a prospect for Victor Zambrano and Joselo Diaz. And a three way where it goes down like this: Mets get: Kris Benson(PIT) Jeff Kepinger(PIT) Pirates get: Ty Wigginton(NY) Jose Bautista(KC) Matt Peterson(NY) Royals get: Justin Huber(NY) also, Florida traded Hee Seop Choi, Brad Penny, and a prospect for Juan Encarnicion, Paul Lo Duca, and Gullermo Mota. Dodgers also acquired Charles Johnson. Philly traded Ricky Ledee and a prospect to San Fran for Feliz Rodriguez and Brad Fullmer was traded from Texas to San Diego.
  3. i've been reading this thread and I have one question: What is this KOC Mazat keeps talking about?

    Catwoman

in Batman Returns she was a villian. In the Batman shows she was a villian. So now, shes the heroine all of a sudden. And your point of her being a heroine in her comic book is irrelevant if the movie is unrelated to the comics

    Catwoman

I hope Roc Revolt was kidding when he said "You Got Served 2". As for Catwoman, yea it looks pretty bad. Its stupid how she was always a villian, and now all of a sudden since she has her own movie, shes a heroine.
  6. The Butterfly Effect- 6/10. It was an OK movie. Kutcher in a serious role is not good though. The Evil Dead- 8/10 Great first movie to a good series. This was my favorite out of the 3. THe Evil Dead 2- 6/10 This one was meh. Definitley the weaker of the 3. Ash's line when he gets the c\hainsaw on his hand for the first time is brilliant though. Army of Darkness(Evil Dead 3)- 7/10 This one was a good comedy. But, thats the thing its a comedy. The other 3 were horror movies and this one was a comedy. I didn't like that, but I put that aside in rating this movie. It was good and Bruce Campbell is greatness. Spider Man 2- 7/10 This was good, but not as good as I expected. Alot of people have been saying this is the best super hero movie ever, but I didn't think so(the original Batman is better to me). Although, this movie was good. Bruce Campbell's cameo was great.
  7. could you explain how Deniro has done crap in the past 10 years? While I agree that movies such as City By the Sea, Cop Land, Showtime and Godsend are crap, he has been in good movies such as Heat, Ronin, Meet the Parents, Analyze This, and Jackie Brown. Also, Pacino hasn't been in the greatest movies lately either...
  8. basically, its a Video On Demand program. You can watch movies that HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and all those channels are shwoing that month any time you want and you can watch their shows too. Theres also programs from cable channels like MTV, Cartoon Network, Nick, and so on. It is pretty cool. I like it
  9. 1. Pulp Fiction 2. Resevoir Dogs 3. Godfather Part II 4. Goodfellas 5. Casino 6. Godfather Part I 7. Halloween 8. Mallrats 9. Kill Bill Vol. 2 10. Half Baked
  10. heh, the funny part is that I can picture Walken saying that. Walken=ownage.
  11. I just got put on probation as Notre Dame. Dunno why though, but so far it sucks because I can't increase budget. I also accepted to join the Big 10 next season.
  12. I'd hit her I'd hit her all night.
  13. The Perfect Score-7.5/10 Much better then expected. Basically an updated version of The Breakfast Club. And having Scarlett Johansen in a movie is a big plus. The Recruit- 6/10 What...the...fuck? Pacino is great in this movie, but the movie takes so many plot turns(expected plot turns at that) and it just makes this movie way too confusing. Casino- 9/10 Great movie. Possibly the best performance from Deniro and the best performance from Sharon Stone(even though her character was extremly annoying). This is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Strictly Business- 6.5/10 I caught this one at around 12:30 last night on one of the HBOs after Casino was done. Enjoyable, but if you don't like Tommy Davidson, then you won't like this movie. BTW, Halle Berry was hotter earlier in her career then now. Secret Window- 5/10 I thought that a movie starring Johnny Depp and John Turturro adapted from a Stephen King novel would be great. I was completely wrong by this one, and it was just way too predictable which took alot away from it.
  14. movies I watched yesterday: Problem Child- 6/10 I remember loving this as a kid. Don't think as much of it now, but still somewhat enjoyable. 61*- 8/10 I really liked this movie despite my hatred for the Yankees. I like how Thomas Jane did Mickey Mantle. Very good sports flick. The Big One- 7/10 This movie is a documentary about corporate america by none other than Michael Moore. I've yet to see Farenheit 9/11, but I want to see it badly. Anyway, this was a funny movie. I like the end when he gets Nike to build a factory anf Flint because 500 people from Flint agreed to work there. True Lies- 8/10 Great mix of comedy and action. Tom Arnold is funny as always, and Arnold is surprisingly funny(although I did like Kindergarten Cop). Jamie Lee Curtis' strip tease also added to this movie
  15. I think theres a white castle somewhere around here. Anyway, the movie looked stupid at first, but reading the synopsis makes me want to go see it.
  16. I thought it started the 18th... I'll catch the 2 parts I didn't see and the part tonight(can't watch because I'm going to Smackdown) when they reshow it
  17. most are for pay. I remember a few years ago, Baseball Mogul was free. That game was cool.
  18. since I just got my laptop last week, I dont have much. On my old computer I had a ton of Beastie Boys, RATM, AC/DC, and Disturbed.
  19. Anchorman- 9/10 Brilliant. Not as good as Old School though, which I give a 10. Dodgeball- 7/10 well, really 6/10 but an extra point for the lead actress(forget her name, Ben Stiller's wife) making out with another girl. The Omen- 8/10 I loved this movie. Mostly because its satanic... Catch Me if You Can- 8/10 This movie is one of my favorites by Speilberg.
  20. as for the Thorton thing, it shows that most likely there won't be any NHL next season. If there is, Thotnton can always back out of his contract with the Sweedish league and play for the NHL.
  21. well, best hitter ever isn't even one of the guys you mentioned, nor is he in the HOF(though he should be). The best hitter ever is Pete Rose.
  22. getting Delgado would be really stupid. We can barely find enough playing time for Millar and Ortiz. Adding another 1B would definitley not help. If that deal went down, I wouldn't be happy. EDIT: the catch was good, but I think people overrate it because of the fact that he dove into the stands. I'm not saying it wasn't a great play, cuz it was, but it was the fact that he dove into the stands and got up that made it amazing.
  23. well Cashman said he'd be interested in trading for Glavine if the Mets fall way out of contention and maybe they would settle for Al Leiter. As for Moyer, it does make sense. The only consistent starter for them has been Vazquez. Brown also, but he has injury problems. Mussina started off cold, but he seems to be back to regular form. Contreras has been shaky all year. Lieber has been rocked as of late. Yanks have said they were interested in Moyer for a while now. The Yankees are gonna go all out and there gonna get a starter by the deadline.
