  1. Christian Eriksen have been discharged from hospital
  2. There was a lot of head scratching about that, when the squad was revealed. One of the stranger choices for the strikers was former Cardiff flop Andreas Cornelius, who scored once this past season in 20+ games and was relegated with Parma. Jonas Wind did score a lot of goals for Copenhagen this season. But the majority of those came from the penalty spot. Skov Olsen scored twice and assisted three times in Serie A this past season, but missed 11 games due to injury. Dolberg got six for Nice but both players had injuries or was left out of their teams (Dolberg also tested positive for the Rona back in september) Also former Huddersfield player Zanka was picked (despite having a shit season on loan at Copenhagen) over Andreas Maxsoe (who was brilliant for Brondby and Alexander Scholz (of Midtjylland) who was named the player of the season and former Celtic player Erik Schivachenko was also left out despite being solid, instead they picked Nicolai Boilesen, a left back who plays for Copenhagen and have legs made of glass (he havent played a second this tournament. On the more positive notes - I wasn't sure about the Damsgaard choice, but he put my doubt to shame yesterday (apart from the dive). - Joachim Mehle have been a breath of fresh air on the leftback/wing back. Looks like the natural heir to Jens Stryger Larsen (who have been used on left back despite being a right back lol)
  3. i have said elsewhere before the tournament, that our main concern is the same as ever. Our strikers just arent reliable enough. For all the stick he got throughout his career (and rightfully so),Lord Bendtner still have 30 goals in 81 caps (that is more than Brian Laudrup for comparison). The topscorer from the current squad is Christian Eriksen with 35 (that is tied with Michael Laudrup). Yussuf Poulsen, Braithwaite and Cornelius have yet to score their tenth goal for the country (and they have been around since 2013-15). And you can add Nicolai Jorgensen to that group. That is why i dont believe that we will advance
  4. I have no issues with this result. Considering how less we've been in the second half, it was to be expected. But that tribute :). Still have goosebumps
  5. He need to read the room next time that Ronnie Whelan.
  6. It is Fifpro who have contacted UEFA, not the other way around though Also dammit. I wanted to write Pandevmonium
  7. Turkey need to win over the Swiss by a crap ton of goals
  8. So Brentfords sister club FC Midtjylland have drawn Celtic in the 2. qualifying round to the Champions League. Should be spicy, considering that Celtic crashed out to Copenhagen in a european tournament not too long ago
  9. On thursday during the Denmark - Belgium game, the tenth minute will be dedicated to Christian Eriksen by standing applause around the stadium. So far no rumors of a giant FUCK UEFA banner to be unveiled
  10. as happy i am that he was brought back, as furious i am with UEFA. Prior to the tournament, they made a rule change that allowed for postponement for 48 hrs in case of positive covid 19 tests. Yet they forced the Denmark-Finland match to be either done yesterday or to resume today at noon cet (less than 24 hours after the events of yesterday). 🤬
  11. and please dont get me started on the idiots that claim it is because of a covid vaccine that he should have got in Milano on May 31st First of all. He wasnt in Milano on that date. He had joined the national team assembly on May 28th, so that is a crock of you know what.
  12. okay. I have slept on it. Turns out UEFA gave the players the choice between resuming the game last night or resume today at noon. That was something that got Michael Laudrup angry after the game. He was on as a pundit and i have translated some of his quotes: "“I respect that our own team did it, and in itself also the Finns. But when something like this happens, you are in the throes of your emotions, and there you do not have the surplus and overview to make important decisions. There must be some who say that then we stop here," "‘I think it is wrong to have to make a decision so close to an emotional event. There one should have had: ‘We will not play anymore tonight, and then we will probably find the opportunities later. I think it was incredibly nice that the players could find the surplus to continue. But they get a choice that is not the right choice. I think, excuse me, it's not a choice"
  13. i dont care if we lose our games at this tournament. This team have shown balls. And UEFA should be ashamed That is a captain! https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1403782389684486145?s=20
  14. im not religious at all. But im praying right now. I live in this country. Our national team have been through so much and then this......
  15. anything but a victory will be considered an upset.
