  1. i had forgotten all about that band to be honest.
  2. So with the accusations against Bassnectar and Tom now gone from Kasabian and in court yesterday. I feel more than a bit iffy listening to either. Is it fair to judge their music on their personal behaviour? Are there other examples, where an artist behaviour have turned you of his, her or their music? Kanye? Pete Doherty?
  3. I apologize in advance if there is a topic like this already. I was on a Fleetwood Mac binge during the weekend. And while listening to them, i thought about how competent and skillful, rhythm sections have to be to work out in a band. Now Fleetwood and McVie, i would consider in the S tier of Bass/Drums combos. And their legacy is well known So was the Genesis pairing of Collins and Rutherford (pre: Lamb lie down on broadway). But i am not sure if i would call them underrated. So what about the more underrated duos, that you guys like? In my childhood home, my father was a big Little Feat fan and the Kenny Gradney and Ritchie Hayward duo were really, really good. Also the guys that played behind Elvis Costello in the Attractions i really liked. Bruce and Pete Thomas. Shame Bruce and Elvis fell out with each other Being a big meters fan, i have to mention Ziggaboo Modeliste and George Porter Jr.
  4. Well 2020 is why we cannot have nice things https://www.tweaktown.com/news/72079/disgruntled-naughty-dog-dev-leaks-the-last-of-us-part-2s-entire-story/index.html
  5. This one has grown on me lately. What really blows my mind about it, is not how silly it sounds. But that this came out in 1997. 2 fn 3 years ago! They also did a funktastic cover of Air's "Kelly Watch the stars"
  6. Hate is a really strong word. And most of the names im going to mention, are common around here. But regardless Radiohead: As with many, Ok Computer is good. In Rainbows i can tolerate. The rest i really dont care for. I do like Street Spirit for some strange reason Nickelback: I don't need to elaborate further do i? FFDP: This one is odd, i did like their first album. But the whole "Bro Metal/Support the troops" thing isn't for me. Also their cover of Gone Away, is so awful, that i struggle to listen to the original Imagine Dragons: Look, they know how to get airplay and make money on sponsorshit. Can't knock the hustle. But god they remind me of aqua (the water, not the awful bubblegum band), no substance, wet af and pretty tasteless. Arctic Monkeys: There is a story here. Back around when their hype began, i worked at a record store. We would get music publications like NME, Mojo and so on. At one point, i had seen so many Arctic Monkeys cover stories (NME being the prime offenders) even before they released their album. Then the album dropped and apart from the first single and maybe Scummy i thought the rest was quite boring. The Strokes: The first album title say it all for me: "Is This it?". The album is solid. But from on there i just didn't care. I do get why people give them the label of being influential in that era in the early noughties. George Michael: All because of that song (you know which one) being played every fricking year at a certain time. Yes, i am that petty. My late father is gonna be fuming at me from the grave, but Grateful Dead never did anything for me. He did however do wonders with getting me into Springsteen, Little Feat, The Band and ironically enough New Riders on the purple sage (which had several GD members on board) Oasis: Only song i can actually listen to of theirs is Whatever Muse are disqualified, as i only found out about them in 2004 during the Absolution album span. Stereophonics: I cannot stand Dakota. And the rest of their stuff leaves me with an "eh" look. @lint pretty much stated how i view Volbeat. And they are from my country (at least 3/4 of them are) I got plenty more where these came from
  7. Its the song behind the meme. And it is actually rather good. Also it is with da bicycle. R.I.P to the bishop
  8. Urban Cookie Collective - The Key, The Secret. A twitch channel have hosted two stay at home parties recently, playing a boatload of 90's dance music.
  9. It will be a while before he gets a second shot. If ever. Can't think of an owner who wants a media circus like that on their hands
  10. Until the ink is dry, i don't believe anything that Mike Ashley is involved in. Found this on Twitter: https://twitter.com/sportingminute/status/1249997591036788737?s=20
  11. Cardiff on Twitter say that he has passed on on twitter
  12. 😒 I am only really surprised that it took this long before this happened. Vincent Tan can fuck right off
  13. Life can be rreally short. Take nothing for granted. Such a tragedy
  14. Partly correct. He kicked the NFC championship to Atlanta in the 98 season. After Gary Anderson of the 15-1 Vikings put his kick wide left (his first miss in two years at that point). But i do like both Adam V and Justin T as much as the next guy. So i agree with your argument to some degree.
  15. regarding the NFL 100 list. Apart from Stenerud over Andersen (Yes, i am partial) and a couple of questions about the RB's (mainly the lack of LT and others drafted post 1990), i think it is an alright list.
  16. Ive been out of town for the past week, som im not up to speed So the clinch scenarios for sunday. Am i right about these? NE (12-3) and KC (11-4) battle for a first round bye. If NE win against Miami, they're in. If KC beats Chargers and NE lose to MIA, then KC is in. Oakland (7-8) gets the sixth seed if there is voodoo and blood magic and a sacrifice of a goat at the local cemetary Tennessee and Pittsburgh (both 8-7) are also in the hunt. Both are playing teams that have clinched playoff spots Which scenarios are up in the NFC apart from who wins the shitshow division? (NFC East)
  17. fuck me, we (denmark) arent drawn with Portugal? For a long time we always seemed to get in Portugals group in qualifiers (and in the euros in Poland and Ukraine) Oh. And we have a friendly, over in London on March 31st
  18. Personally i don't mind it too much. Heck. I've been called worse things than that xD But here in Denmark, it rubbed some people the wrong way :S
  19. what a lovely bunch..... I didnt see the game myself. But my co workers all agreed that Ireland were the better team.
  20. THIS! As long as Dan Snyder is boss, that team is going to be a clown show. Just look at his feats: Trading for McNabb Overpaying Haynesworth (generally overpaying a bunch of guys so over the hill that they broke down on the downslope) Firing Schottenheimer and replacing him with Steve Spurrier 🤡 The second Jim Zorn Season (from 8-8 to 4-12.) They were the only NFC East team under .500 that season Firing Norv Turner after he won the division That Monday Night beating that they got from the Eagles (was it 35-0 when the second quarter began?) No HC under Snyder have left Landover with a winning record (Schottenheimer did an 8-8) Is it true that he charge people who want to watch training camp?
  21. And Jay Gruden is gone! No big surprise here
  22. That is the nastiest face mask i ever saw. How in the hell is that not a penalty!
  23. Im so glad that Ravens got rid of Flacco. That said, anything other than a loss at KC will surprise me.
  24. One of the most impressive bands to come out of sweden in my lifetime. This was their final concert. I do have the benefit of being scandinavian, so i probably understand the lyrics better. But this was an amazing band
