UK saw finale Tuesday. I loved the finale. Ending reminded me of Blakes 7 when Avon was left with all those guards at him. THEY KILLED WESLEY! My favourte character...but the ending was great, and you can slightly tell which parts Jeff Bell wrote and which parts Joss wrote. "You take the 30,000 of the left..." That was pure Joss. I liked how they made it clear that the fight never ends, and leaving shows slightly open is always a good thing as it leaves for much debate and keeps you thinking about what would happen. Spike at a poetry slam - that's problem Spike's best moment ever and stays true to the character. David Fury said "He's a lovesick poet, and will always be a lovesick poet." This was a perfect 'last day'. DB said he does not have ANY intention of playing Angel again, while JM will love to play Spike for years. (Originally, Tim Minear wanted Spike to be the secondary character in the Faith spin-off.) Wanna bet.

Log Song is the best moment ever. But Pinky and The Brain are a much better duo.

*FINALLY* The finale aired in the U.K last night and I thought...wow. The first time Lex looked like the evil git he'd become - it was that suit and that glass for some reason...I just got that vibe. My jaw dropped at Chloe...she ain't dead...please she ain't dead. However, I won't shed a tear if Lana's plane crashed. Nice twist of Kara not being Kara. Oh - Lex isn't dead, but like Chloe and Clark - the question is how they will survive/comback.

I wasn't a fan of Surferosa until last night.

The Killers Yesterday The Departure (supporting): 8/10 - surprisingly good. Bassist was class. Surferosa (supporting): 9/10 - The lead singer was charismatic and got the crowd going. She looked demented at times, but she was great. I got her autograph and shook her hand. She stage-dived on my friends as well. The Killers: 10/10 - Wow. While I was pushed back becaue I'm small and didn't want to get killed in the Mosh Pit I watched from afar. But still...FUCKING class. Mr. Brightside was brilliant - but the highlight was Indie Rock 'n' Roll.
