    Lion King

I thought it was fantastic when I went to see it. Like lanky I don't want to say too much because then it could ruin it for you, so just be safe in the knowledge that it'll be a very good night Marsh.
  2. If we're talking players still active then I'd have to say Giovanni Van Bronkhorst, Gennaro (Rino) Gattuso and Jean Alain Boumsong. All time is harder. I guess I'd pick out three of these four names from a hat. Andy Goram, Richard Gough, Davie Cooper and Ally McCoist
  3. All these are really good so far. I did make one but just noticed I made a mistake on it. Will try to get one up sometime later on in this succession. How many pieces make up a complete mural?
  4. So on Tuesday my Geography lecturer told the class he was a part time referee, so I search for him in FM and lo and behold there he is. Looks good for a 46 year old too. Quick update on my Gers game seeing as I'm here, just about to face CSKA Sofia to qualify for the Champion's League Group Stages. Brought in Chris Kirkland, Peter Crouch, Ricardo Vaz Te, Leon Osman, Glen Johnson and Sean Davis on loan for the season to keep my costs low. Celtic are 10th, having lost 2 of 4 games, winning 1 and drawing 1 with a -3 goal difference. Fantastic (Y)
  5. Just completed my first season as manager of Rangers. Didn't have such a good time of it. Runners up to Celtic in the league, knocked out in the 3rd rounds of both cups and semi finals of the Euro Cup [uEFA Cup]. Kinda unrealistic this game though. Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Blackburn finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Premiership. German clubs dominated the European competitions. Schalke 04 win the Champion's League and Werder Bremen the UEFA Cup. Oh well, wish me luck.
  6. I was bored, so made another. /forum/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=3071">Full Size Cover The quality on the full size isn't the best unfortunately.
  7. Kraigy said he was lonely so here I am. Rangers are looking good but I expect to see Adriano sometime in this second half if Inter don't score soon. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. Inter on the counter and well away by Rangers. Phew. 1-0 to Inter. Deflected free kick. It was coming but still a shame to see it. Now we need to push up more and try to find a bit of luck up the other end.
  8. I saw people making some kickass DVD covers and thought I'd have a crack myself. Full Size Cover
  9. I've only ever seen his in-character live material, as Otis Lee Crenshaw. It's fairly good, but it's a very different style to how he comes across on programs like Have I Got News For You. I don't know if he does stand-up just as Rich Hall, but if he does I'd quite like to see some, as judging from guest appearances he's quite one-liner based, and he has a much more "British" sense of humour than most American comedians. ←

  11. Premier Manager 97 on the Mega Drive also kicked all kinds of ass. I remember playing that for hours on end when I was a kid.

    Jurassic 5

If I could make it there and back by Tuesday morning I'd be there in a flash, unfortunately the earliest train back on Tuesday gets into Glasgow at 12.45pm. I'd need to be back by about 9.30am. Thanks for the offer though. Take pics. (Y)

If I thought you were serious I'd probably take you up on that offer as I'm off work tomorrow.

They were at the ABC in Glasgow last night and apparently they were absolutely off the hook. Wish I coulda gone. Oh well, enjoy it man, and I don't think they mosh, more move as one.
  16. I'll take that draw no bother. We've got a good shot there. Bratislava will shit themselves at Ibrox and I think we can take something from the game in Slovakia, at least a point. The Porto games I can see three points coming from. Inter will be tough but hopefully we won't sit back and we'll have a go like we did a couple of years ago against Man United. The match in the San Siro won't be that easy to predict either. If we can not let the emptiness get to us, we could steal something.
  17. Angels In The Outfield. It still makes me cry :'(
  18. James Blunt - Back to Bedlam Quite simply put, this is one of the best albums I have heard in the last five years. He's not a revolutionary by any means. Blunt takes his lead from others like Damien Rice and it's easy to see the inspiration from them as well as from producer Tim Rothcock who has done similar arrangements for Beck and Badly Drawn Boy. But where Blunt comes into his own is in the subject content of his ballads. While Rice and his contemporaries will stick to their "I've loved and lost, but it's still better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" ballads, Blunt takes it a step further, changing the content each song - but keeping a central theme of emotion being the driving force- and drawing in his personal experience to create a series of deeply moving and stimulating songs. Going from the most generic track, placed well early in the album, "You're Beautiful", which is in itself still a beautiful composition, all the way through to "No Bravery", a shocking but highly emotional recollection of his time spent in Bosnia as part of the UK peacekeeping force, this album is one stirring song after another. While the slow pace and soulful lyrics won't be to everyone's taste, anyone who can appreciate good music in any of its forms would do well to pick this up if they've got the chance and if you are a fan of Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley or others such as Jack Johnson - whose rhythm is slightly more upbeat and optimistic than Blunt's - or KT Tunstall - one of my personal favourites - then it is a must have.
  19. Caught up with a guy from school who was at the match today and he said it was really one sided. Seriously though, this season looks like it will basically be Rangers year. Celtic look terrible, Camara just isn't up to the task in front of him and the other signings look pretty weak as well, although Nakamura may be the saving grace (if he doesn't look for a way out in January). This year though will be close for second. I'd like to see Hibs get there because Mowbry really deserves greater recognition for the job he's done but I can see Aberdeen pushing them. Hearts I'm not sure about, somehow the eastern Europeans don't convince me yet. Oh and 'mon the Gers!
