  1. I'm anal in a way but not like some of you where everything has to be perfect. Basically if I have one song from a guy I have to have the whole album, otherwise it looks like crap on iTunes and WMP with full album-full album-full-album-one song-full album. That's really it though.

I believe in karma what you give is what you get returned..... EVERYBODY!
  3. I had two fall through before the third one was finally successful. The first thing they did was pump £29,000,000 into the club. The second thing they did was sack me. Fuckers.
  4. Just got sacked after three years as manager of Newcastle due to a new consortium taking over and wanting to install Les Ferdinand as manager. Season One: Not a very good start, qualified for the Euro Cup through the Euro Vase and qualified from the group stages but got knocked out in the last thirty-two. A poor Premiership campaign as well saw us finish ninth. By a stroke of luck we were the highest placed team to apply for the Euro Vase so it was back to that again for the second season. League and FA Cups were atrocious, early exits from both. Season Two: Offloading Obafemi Martins for £10,000,000 to Milan and the January of season one signing of Dave Nugent for £6,000,000 from Preston finally come good as Nugent and Owen compete for the top goalscorer award and both end the season with 25+. The signing of David Goodwillie in January proves a hit as he hits 15 in 15 games. Euro Cup again a washout, knocked out in last sixteen this time.We run Arsenal and Chelsea to the last day of the season for the title but finish 3rd on 78 points, Chelsea on 80 and Arsenal on 81. First takeover collapses this season but lads still come good to win the League Cup. The Champions League Awaits! Season Three: Get off to a poor start as more signings cause disruption in the dressing room. One bright spark is the signing of Kim Kállstrom who gets the fans singing my praises. Games are lost or drawn and a tactical rethink is taken. Suddenly we can't lose and start zooming up the table. Finish second in our Champion's League group behind CSKA Moscow and draw Werder Bremen in last 16. Pal Le Guen leaves Rangers at this time to take over at Atletico Madrid and I send along my CV to Ibrox, not making the board or fans happy. A 0-1 loss at home to Bremen puts us seemingly out but we rally and win 2-0 away to go through. Similarly in the quarter finals, a 2-0 loss at home to PSV makes it a difficult job but we travel to Holland and come out 4-1 winners. Semi finals don't go as well, we draw Chelsea. A 0-0 draw at home is good but we lose 3-1 away and the dream is over. It'll be a Chelsea vs. Arsenal final. Second last game of the season and we sit in third, entertaining Arsenal at St. James'. A great start sees us romp home 3-1 winners and we're assured a European spot next season. However with Tottenham a point behind in 4th and Man City 3 behind in 5th we're not safe yet. A poor couple of seasons have seen the Premiership only allocated three Champions League places. Then I'm sacked as the new consortium chooses to select a new manager. The final game sees already relegated Watford take some pride with a 1-0 win against Newcastle but with Tottenham and Man City drawing Champion's League football will be at St. James again. But I won't be there to see it. Season Three:
  5. If U2 have one recognisable song then "One" is surely it. As for other bands, I'd say: REM should be 'Losing My Religion' or 'Everybody Hurts' The Who should be 'Who Are You?' or 'Pinball Wizard' Richard Ashcroft - 'Bittersweet Symphony' Radiohead - 'Creep' or 'Karma Police' Placebo - 'Nancy Boy' or at a stretch 'Pure Morning' George Harrison - 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' Muse - 'Time Is Running Out' The Charlatans - 'The Only One I Know' Feeder have quite a few but I'd say 'Just A Day' would be their top one. The Offspring - 'Come Out And Play (Keep 'Em Separated)' or 'Pretty Fly For A White Guy'
  6. The Arcade Fire will become a hell of a lot more popular when their new album launches, and it'll be even better than Funeral. The View will be this years Arctic Monkeys. An awesome album ready for 'official' launch and stellar live performers make them a near certain hit. All That Remains will become huge and gain a lot of new fans. The Dykeenies will have a great year, gain new fans and actually launch an album.
  7. The Who Pete Townshend saying "we wanna know who you are...." and then launching straight into "Who Are You?" was one of the most amazing moments of my life. 15,000 people bouncing along, awesome. Them going off stage only to come back on and go straight into "Pinball Wizard" with everyone singing along. Placebo Any time they play either "Come Home" or "Nancy Boy" gives me the chills. Arctic Monkeys Seeing them run through "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" in order and basically rocking hard. Richard Ashcroft Bittersweet Symphony. 'Nuff said. Ocean Colour Scene Playing "The Day We Caught The Train" as part of an acoustic set and everyone singing along. The Spinto Band Taking a tent full of speculative slighty drunk people and making them dance along madly to "Did I Tell You" That's just what I can think of off the top of my head.

  12. I've been listening to 'Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager' by Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly! the last couple of days and I can't find a weak track on the album, try as I might. Stand-out tracks for me are An Oak Tree and I, Spy but they're all very good tracks and hopefully Duckworth won't suffer the same fate of some other singer/songwriters who appear, have one song then disappear again - I'm looking at you Daniel Powter!
  13. I find the albums 'Americana' and 'Conspiracy Of One' by The Offspring are really good to work out to.
  14. I listened to The Spinto Band "Nice And Nicely Done". It's a very good album full of great tracks but the trouble is, I've seen them live and live they sound so much better than they do in a studio recording.
  15. Oh fuck. The last time we played Auxerre they gubbed us 3-0 and it was embarassing to watch and that was at Ibrox. We'll be lucky to come away with a point in that game.
  16. NOISES OFF Michael Caine, John Ritter, Christopher Reeve, Carol Burnett, Denholm Elliot, Mark Linn-Baker and Nicolette Sheridan. JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK Eliza Dushku, Will Ferrell, Jason Lee, Matt Damon, Shannon Elizabeth, Judd Nelson, Sean William Scott, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hammill, George Carlin, Jason Biggs, James Van Der Beek, Chris Rock, Jamie Kennedy, Jon Stewart and of course Ben Affleck.
  17. Garbage. Awesome, awesome band.
  18. 3-2 United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Stupid Thomas Gravesen Bwahahahahahaha
  19. I can't believe no one has mentioned the ultra awesomeness that was Bucky FUCKING O'Hare Click The Link
  20. Sticking with the DS9 love then I have to cast a vote for the relationship between Odo and Quark. The dynamic between those two just worked so well. I'd also like to throw out Sam and Al from Quantum Leap as an excellent relationship.

    La Vita é bella

Have it on DVD and make a habit of watching it at least once a year. It's an excellent film which starts off very funny but then becomes emotional and touching. One of my favourite films.
  22. Life Is Beautiful is an excellent movie to pick up if you find it, one of my favourite films of all time. Other recommendations would be: Y Tu Mama Tambien, Battle Royale (obviously), the original Wicker Man and Trainspotting
