Caus teams mentallity changes depending on where you are playing. A home team is going to be more up for the game in their own stadium because of all the fan support.

I am currently using a 442 formation which includes a diamond variation which I use in the league. I was originally going to use it in a Lower League Management game I was gonna start but I haven't got around to it yet. The basic premise is that 2 the central midfielders are strong defensive midfielders who race around the pitch, snapping into tackles trying to get the ball back. Then they lay it off to a winger who bombs up the pitch to cross for the big man in the box. I usually have two defensive full backs who stay back because they have no help from the wingers so they dont wanna wander up field and be caught out. Being in the Scottish league I can afford to be more attacking so I move one central mid back and one forward. Sometimes I push the full backs up too. I normally stick to the flat 442 in Europe and sometimes in away games.

Also has Fifa 95 on I think.

Tom used to routinely thrash me at ISS Deluxe. He'd try every match to score from far out but never did until one match where he did it 3 times. Anyone else score directly from a corner by setting the arrows to the touchline and getting the ball to hit the underside of the bar. I used to do it regulary but Tom denies it can be done.

You could always ask the board for some more. I did so after getting knocked out of the Champions League and to my suprise they complied. Only 6m but hey it's something, usually Rangers managers don't have any money to play with.

I never put a keeper on the bench, I never seem to require one. Even in Scotland where I have 7 subs to choose from I don't want to waste 1 on a keeper.

I was expecting both teams to play their full team just to try and get a win over each other.

Might sound obvious but there's always that little booklet that came with the game, you know, the manual. That is assuming you bought it.

The thing is now the sides who do care about the Carling Cup are now getting whipped by the top sides second string so in a way it's kinda unfair for them that a team who doesn't care about it keeps progressing. And Leeds seems to care about it, even the fans do. 30,000 in to see the first round. Though I guess most only came to have a go at the Huddersfield fans.

If I have video game music it tends to be from games that feature actual music such as Madden, GT etc. That said I do have some FF7 music. First GT soundtrack was good and Madden 04 introduced me to some great bands (Thrice, Yellowcard).

From what i'm reading it has NHL 95 on it which is worth it just for that. However I wouldn't need it seen as I still have my SNES copy and I could always get it another way *cough*. Beats having one of those other ones though, one of those "99 games in 1" types which is just 99 versions of Tetris.

Cast No Shadow is great but like EBG said there are too many to choose from so some get forgetten. I'd be more happy choosing a top 10, which I might just do on iTunes using that iMix thing. What about favourite album? No doubt it's gonna be a toss up between Defenitely Maybe and Morning Glory for most people but for me MG is top followed by Masterplan.

Heard the Ryan Adams one on the O.C, tis ok. There was a documentary on Oasis on Channel 4 a month or so ago and Noel explained that there songs sound similar to others because they were never meant to be released. They never thought they would ever get a record deal and only expected to be a live act thus it didn't matter if they used other bands music to influence their own. For example there is a song on Defenitely Maybe which sounds just like I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.

Well the easy way to do it is to use a BMX in Grove Street. Just hold the analouge stick diagonally down in either direction. Guess it's kind of cheating though, easy money early on though.

*200th post* Bah! I drew 1-1 with Man U at Ibrox but a Van Horseface brace helped Man U to a 3-0 win at Old Trafford. 4-1 to them on aggregate. I got 2.2m for playing in the semis though. Arsenal beat Liverpool 7-1 on aggregate

w00t! After steering Rangers to the Champions League Quarter finals we came up against AC Milan. It finished 0-0 at Ibrox so we headed to the San Siro for the second leg. Inzaghi scored after 18 mins and it wasn't looking good but he was sent off 7 minutes later. Just before half time Dado Prso was put through by Gavin Rae and he put it past Dida to take the lead on away goals (His 39th in 45 games this season). We battled through the second half and managed to end the game at 1-1 and we are semi final bound! Milan had 26 chances with only 5 on target. Got 1.8m for playing but none of it went to my transfer budget which stands at only 35k after all my spending. Just drawn Man U in the semis, got the home leg first again. Liverpool vs Arsenal in the other Semi.

I think the goalkeepers taking freekicks is a bug that SI is rectfying. That or you have a goalkeeper who is a free kick specialist ala Chilavert. Do you not still have the Frey goal on your hard drive? If not I think I have it somewhere.
