  1. this makes me cry.Fucking Tua, if only you'd stayed around and fucking fought Ruiz, shit, on a bad day he could put him away in 3 rounds. I HATE JOHN RUIZ.He's lost to TWO former Middleweights, and they let him near the fucking strap?!Shit, he fought ancient Holyfield to win the fucking thing, give it to Byrd or Vitali or something.
  2. I already said Manu for MVP if the Spurs make the Finals...he's stepped up in every big game I've seen internationally (from the Olympics, to the World Champs a couple years ago when he was injured and he beat down Peja and Vlade and the Argentinians got ripped.). I've watched a ton of Spurs games (more than I would ever want to, but it wasn't my choice) and they can play fastbreak. But most of the time, they are fucking boring. If they had a more explosive guard like Wade/Shaq with the Heat(that actually handled the ball a bit more) they'd be fine, but witht he lack of use for Ginobili who could fill that role it's just pass it to Duncan, if he can't get a shot off pass it out and hope someone hits a shot or is open. haha at Wallace being domianted by Jeff Foster. The Pacers team are running on what they have been doing all season, pure emotion, they want Reggie to go out with a bang...and they could just pull it off.
  3. Cena's got Murs, and Murs released one of the better Albums last year, if not the best Album last year. He's also with Bumpy Knuckles and Esotoric and 7L, he's gone underground, and could help expose these guys, who are talented.I was reading a interview on him, and he was talking about how he prefered to go with Freddie Foxx etc instead of getting Kanye and Em so it's based off his work, not theirs.Very honourable thing to do, IMO. Cena comes alright on most tracks, much better than I thought he would originally.
  4. With the Nash/Dallas thing, you got to take in the factors. They got a good PG who was stuck in Atlanta in Jason Terry, got a defensive presence in Dampier, got a rookie who has potential (Harris) added Stackhouse, KVH and the growth of Josh Howard in particular, as well as Marquis Daniels, that Dallas side is completely different now, and have players who could challenge for the title. All Phoenix added was Q Rich apart from Nash, and then the trades for a couple spot up shooters in McCarty and Jackson. No way Amare would be beasting shit like he is now as easily as he is without Nash, lets see how he woulda went with Barbosa feeding him the rock, then compare from there, and Marion, he's just awesome, but he's never going to be considered MVP, despite that team probably falling apart without him also Plus, the Heat would have been top 4 in the East had the trade not happened, and the D-Wade developed the way he has. They may, (I repeat, may) have had a higher chance of beating Detroit if they had that lineup, aswell, with more liable threats than they have currently. My preditions except for the games won in have been on point...I expect it to continue, too.LMAO at T-Mac choking in the Game 7 and playing awesome in virtually all 6 games previous, thats why T-Mac isn't elite. Dallas (although, now that Nash is fresh, it may change things, thats gonna be an awesome series) Spurs, Heat and Pistons will be in each CF, but don't sleep on Reggie, I wouldn't be surprized at all if he beasts shit just to keep his career alive...man, that series is gonna be the only time Detroit's gonna top the ratings for something other than Defence. and about my hate towards Bowen, he done the same thing to VC to injure his ankle last year, which made VC react the way he did this time. And you call 43 points in 3 quarters good defence, anyway?! ehh, a bit long, but yeah.
  5. Manu Ginobili is being ripped off coming off the bench...watch him outshine everybody if the Spurs play the Pistons in the Finals and win Finals MVP...Although it'd probably go to TD anyway. B. Wallace won the D Player of the Year...I woulda went with Tayshaun, or Larry Hughes or Camby not fucking cheap ass dirty Bruce Bowen who doesn't defned, he attacks stars (Who the hell makes Ray Allen wanna knock them out) and tries to injure them (Him moving under VC to try and injure him after VC dominated him for 43 after 3 quarters before being ejected), read Pippen's Blog on NBA.com, man speaks the truth, about the Bowen/TD thingy anyway. And boo to Gordon winning 6th Man, shoulda went to Ricky Davis.Guess this means he definately isn't getting the ROY (Okafor deserves it, he fucking broke Shaq's record for consecutive Dub-Dubs) Sonics look like they could win in 5....
  6. there's too many teams right now that are that versitle to have anybody step up...Denver, Chicago, fuck even the Heat (21 points from Zo, 30 from 3D) Boston, etc.Detroit have people that will explode, but not too the level of other teams... And fucking Dallas.I had them going to the WCF... Spurs-Detroit is going to be a fucking borefest...gimmie Suns-Heat, however the Rockets arising could make things interesting, although he'd likely be shut down by my pick for Defensive Player of the Year, Tayshaun Prince. Pacers-Detroit in the semis...thats one series where Detroit will be interesting...fuck I was Artest got re-instated for the Playoffs that would have been awesome to watch...anybody else think that the Pacers were hard done by in that, the fact that they going into the last week had a shot at number 4 seed, despite having their 3 best players out for long periods of the season...lets see anybody else do that and see how they go...
  7. who the fuck saw the Heat backcourt outplaying the Nets?! 3D and Wade combined for 62 points...damn...
  8. 10. Cassidy - Imma Hustla 9. Kanye West - Diamonds 8. 112 ft. Foxy Brown You Already Know (remix) 7. Common - Corners 6. Mike Jones - Still Tippin 5. Trillville - Some Cut 4. Lil Scrappy & Game - Southside 3. John Legend - Used To Love You 2. Ying Yang Twins - Wait 1. Akon - Don't Let Up
  9. So your saying that having Medvendenko is much better than an over the hill Malone? And if they stayed competitive with the Pistons who knows what could have happened. Houston beat Dallas too.
  10. White Album that Kno of the cunninglynguists made is easily the best mix, but is pretty tough to find, from what I've seen.
  11. An injured Karl Malone...if the Mailman was alright, that series could have been different. And the Heat roleplayers > Lakers roleplayers, I'd take the Joneses, Haslem, Doleac, Zo and Laetner over Medvendenko, Rush and a couple rooks in Cook and Walton and Geogre & Fox. I'd agree with the 5 games, if Tayshaun could keep up with Wade, but because he most likely can't, it means Wade will have an easier time, but the Pistons are still gonna win, but the Heat have great chemistry, don't underrate Udonis Haslem, he's better than people think he is... It's going 6, maybe 7 depending on how much Wade dominates, but hey, don't forget earlier this month, the Heat lost by 8 I think to the Pistons, and they had no Shaq, and Wade held to 8 points due to foul trouble...
  12. I love Busta in that Tough Guy track, but the album wasn't what I was expecting from X, seeing as I didn't hear Man Vs. Machine, and only the earlier asforementioned albums..it was alright, but yeah... Foundation and Papparazzi are probably my 2 favourite X tracks, though.
  13. Cav's aren't getting Redd, Ray Allen or Joe Johnson. Redd's not going there because he doesn't want to be second option again, I'm guessing same applies for Allen....And Joe Johnson wants to go to the Bobcats, for whatever reason...
  14. Phoenix may not be able to do that but they can move into halfcourt and dump the ball into Amare and work from there, they have the shooters to get them by playing halfcourt. AnTayshaun won't guard Wade, because Wade is much quicker than Kobe etc, and Tayshaun will probably get lost, they'll leave Rip on him to tire him out. They haven't put Tayshaun on Wade all year, and doubt they would. But Tayshaun will be more of a handful on offence that defence, he's gonna shine this year, IMO. Playoff predictions! West: Phoenix Memphis Phoenix in 6 San Antonio Denver San Antonio in 7 Seattle Sacremento Seattle in 7 Dallas Houston Dallas in 6 Miami Heat New Jersey Nets Heat in 7 Detriot Pistons 76ers Pistons in 5 Boston Indiana Indiana in 6 Washington Chicago Washington in 7 Second Round: Dallas Phoenix Dallas in 6 San Antonio Seattle San Antonio in 5 Miami Heat Washington Heat in 5 Detroit Indiana Detroit in 7 WCF & ECF Dallas San Antonio San Antonio in 7 Heat Pistons Pistons in 6 NBA Finals: Spurs Pistons San Antonio in 6 in a fucking boring Finals.
  15. Rivers wanted to see how his young players cope with the pressure of a playoff situation, it was a smart coaching move, seeing how they'll go in the future, while also preserving their starters from getting injured. He did the same to the Cavs, you weren't complaining then. Philly won't knock them out, either. But Indiana WILL. And haha at the Bobcats beating the Pistons again...yeah yeah, they're probably resting players but that brung a smile..
  16. Boston's playing the whole rook lineup, without Pierce, Walker, Davis etc in the 4th quarter, which would leave them with a lineup of Perkins/Jefferson/Allen/West/Banks the Nets are gonna pass them, Doc Rivers said he's doing it yesturday the same way he did for the Cavs... JKidd should be able to carry them...what the hell happened to Vince?!
  17. haha, I thought Isiah was bad, Paxson's terrible, but atleast he doesn't bring in shit contracts...well, ones that aren't that bad. Anyone else see Dallas prossibly sneaking into the WCF, if Phoenix has a long series with Memphis? And by the way, Sacremento are fucking geniuses, dropping a game to the Jazz so now they face the Sonics...that just seemed a little too planned IMO.
  18. Wade and LeBron are easily ahead, but then it becomes blurry for the next three...Melo, Bosh and Hinrich seem interchangable to me. This year it's Okafor Howard Gordon AI2 And a tie between Deng/Allen/Nelson but if I had to chose one, it'd probably be Allen, purely because he broke into the Celtics lineup with Pierce and Davis ahead of him. And who the hell saw Darius Miles scoring 47 on the Nuggets coming?!
  19. Isiah won't choose Bogut, he'll chose Chris Paul, or maybe Gerald Green (heh, dunno why that name came into my head, stupid HS player)....you don't think he'd make the right decision, do you? Only teams I wanted to see in the playoffs that aren't are the Lakers, Utah, (of course, this is before Kirilenko injury 1), Magic, and Toronto (Chris Bosh owns the Soph class). Don't sleep, Boston-Philly, Indy-Detroit first rounds with the Pacers losing to the Magic...Philly should lock up the 6th, they have the tie breaker, and only the fucking Hawks to beat.
  20. Redman's Smash Sumthin, too.SOMEBODY should use that for entrance music apart from Ray Sefo in K-1...it's fucking gold. I dunno, they're music ain't that great, but they're the two funniest guys around, intentionally and unintentionally.
  21. Damn, they must be forgetting about Amare and Wade, shit even anybody on the baby Bulls... Wade, Amare and LeBron are the current faces from waht I've read at different boards, for the youth side of things, anyway. And ECF is going 7 games Pistons-Heat is gonna come down to D-Wade or Billups hitting a buzzer beater....I can see it now.
  22. I'm talking about Jordan's earlier years, before Pippen when he had no help but made playoffs. And Bron had a lot better team than some others....AI could have made it easy with that team, atleast with that front court stability. He had good enough talent for him to make the playoffs, he just doesn't have the leadership qualities because of his young age to guide that team... I dunno, if I was a vet, no matter how good the kid is, I wouldn't let no damn 20 year old boss me the fuck around.
  23. LeBron has been hyped as the greatest. He isn't going to make the playoffs...therefore he cannot be comapred to MJ, who didn't (to my recollection) have an all-star with him and made the playoffs every year... LeBron is a great player, I can admit that, but he's too young to be able to lead his team, he doesn't have the experience, like those who go through college eg: Carmelo last year. And Bron would have had decided if Silas got fired...The owner's want to keep Bron, they would have done everything to satisfy him, firing Silas would have something to do with Bron, don't be so ignorant. He should be a lock for playoffs next year, because he'll have learnt from that experience. If he went to college, he would be leading a team to homecourt, I firmly believe, and not a huge choke.Atleast teams like Orlando have an excuse (Christie, Turkoglu, Hill etc getting injured down the stretch) the Cavs choked, and the Nets have a real chance at upsetting the Heat in the first round, that series is going atleast 6, unless Shaq finally performs. I don't hate LeBron, I hate the way he's being portrayed, as the greatest thing ever.
  24. Denver losing now is good.Makes them think they're not invincible, thats the team, that the Spurs dun wanna play in the playoffs....same goes for the Grizz and Suns..Suns don't want it with the Grizz who've handed them their ass twice, home and away. Nets are going to the playoffs.NOTHING is stopping Vince Carter, not even being boo'd everytime he touches the fucking ball....he's earnt his spot on my 3rd team, would be 2nd if not for Shawn Marion... I'm picking the Wizards over the Bulls, Bulls got too many players and nobody that can handle Arenas....Philly will get handled by Detroit unless C-Webb steps up, and Boston Vs. Indy is gonna be the best matchup....especially if JO gets back in game 2 or 3... As said, don't sleep on the Grizz...the Suns don't wanna play them, same with the Spurs/Nuggets...Houston's going to drop a couple games before handling the Sonics, and Dallas should put away Sacramento pretty easily. I'm going with the Spurs to win it all in 7 games against Detroit, just like I said at the start of the other thread...although I'd love if my Heat could slip through (I've been a Heat fan most of my life, check last year's playoff thread when I was going on about Wade)
