I knew Silva was good but damn. I thought Leben would have fought better but he got tagged plain and simple. That's probably one of the best and worst things about MMA. Its pretty much impossible to go undefeated so your favorite fighter is eventually going to get beat. Huge win for Rashad Evans who is on a roll. This is a guy who Matt Hughes didn't like and even Dana admitted he didn't really like but he keeps beating people. Whats left for Bonnar now? A Griffin/Bonnar II fight is out of the question. I have a hard time thinking that Bonnar could've bounced back against a Tito Ortiz the way Griffin did after taking a pounding the 1st round. Looking forward to the PPV; being a wrestling fan I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Shamrock but the MMA fan in me knows Shamrock hasn't had a good fight in quite awhile. Sure the Sakuraba fight may have been stopped early. And Shamrock had Franklin in a bit of trouble before slipping and getting tagged but as much as I like him I don't see him winning.

Many people including myself felt that Keith Jardine beat Bonnar at Ultimate Fight Night a few months ago. Bonnar may have beat Griffin thats arguable it was a super close fight but his last fight against Jardine he just didn't look all that great just like Leben didn't look all that great although Leben's competition wasn't as good. Do I think Bonnar should be fighting on PPV? Absolutely. I can't argue with bringing him along slowly instead of feeding him to the wolves ala Nate Quarry.

I'm really looking forward to the Leben/Silva fight. Silva is a legit contender and highly regarded as a guy who could take Franklin's title. Leben has beat everyone put in front of him so far and has looked pretty good against everyone. Didn't look too motivated in his last fight against Luigi but I believe that was his 5th fight for the UFC that hasn't been on PPV it might be hard to get motiviated sometimes. Leben has a iron chin and even hard hands and it should be a good one to watch. Silva's last win came when he missed a punch but brought his arm back and elbowed the guy in the face and knocked him out. Coined it the "Anderson Elbow."

Leave it to EA to screw up a good concept. I'll save my final comments for when I actually get to play the game but if it sucks I wouldn't be suprised. I'm a bigger player of sim games (OOTP and Front Office Football and of course the EW franchise and TEW and Wrestling Spirit) and I was honestly kind of excited about this project. I'd still rather play ESPN NFL 2K5 with the roster updated then Madden 06.

Yeah I just wish people would actually try and spread the CAW love. The whole reason for the CAW trading thing is so everyone didnt have to spend an hour going through formulas. Now since nobody will just give you a CAW it's pretty much pointless to trade.

Someone discuss the damn the create a belt and defending immediately before I Smite thee! Check out the create an entrance on the CAW is that any different? Online play anyone? FILL US IN!?!?!!?!

I'm sorry but trading CAWs over the net? That's probably one of the best innovations to happen to this game in a long long time. No more formulas or worrying about if you put this or that in the right spot. Its all done for you. Simply awesome and I look forward to going after the EWB Hardcore Title.

Ive watched my roommate play 06 by EA and even with sliders scoring is way too easy. Hes getting like 5-6 goal games for him and the cpu every game. 2k6 has been pretty good to me.

It just means how hard you have to press down on the trigger to reverse, as you thought. 1 is a light tap and 5 is right down. Nothing to really change how easy something is. I love DoR's reversal system. It's so refreshing from the blatently ridiculous Smackdown bullshit. When's the last time you have a 7 string sequence of reversal's? My girlfriend light grappled me after I tried to punch her which I turned into a hammer lock, then into a headlock which she went into a german suplex that I flipped over and Irish whipped her into the ropes. She then countered that into a inside cradle. It's beter than the low blow and flip fest that is Smackdown. And for those who find this one very hard... Well you may have wanted to start off with the first. The difficulty was ramped up because of the ease most people had with the first. I play on hard by default and can still dominate the computer.... I prefer a challenge anyways. Who truly wants to win all the time? It's boring. Lose yourself in the match and you don't even realize the time goes by. We had a half hour iron man match in the first game which went to a draw because we weren't paying attention to the counter. I've still yet to start the story mode, but from what I know and have seen it's because of the first game's lack of difficulty. It was designed with DoR fans in mind.. ←

Link IGN's review of the album pretty much describes how I feel. The first 10 tracks are strong and from there it just goes downhill for me. How Ye and Nas made a song that bad together is beyond me.

I've got a few gripes with the game. One the sim injuries are horrendous. I've turned down Sim Injuries almost all the way down and HUGE talented guys are getting injured all the freaking time. The Panthers have Foster Davis and Shelton out for the year plus Goings is out for 3 weeks. Theyre starting Kris Mangum at RB! KRIS MANGUM! He's a tight end! I could go through a laundry list of whos who in my game thats been hurt. Another thing is I have the sliders pretty much stacked against my on all pro and I can't throw for crap and I throw a bunch of INTs but I still win games. I like Madden but man I wish there was an ESPN this year.

I live here up in Salem Oregon. Randy Couture and Matt Lindland promote their own fights up here called Sportfights. Leben has fought here several times and I'm getting to goto my first live MMA event and i'm pretty pumped. I got 2 111 level row C tickets for only $78 I consider this a major steal. Check out the card.

I'm on with most people it's alright but definitely not what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting Kanye to take "Shorty Wanna Be A Thug"'s beat from Tupac and use that. Kanye's a great producer. Fortunantly I do like that Drive Slow song. Paul Wall's flow is nice in the song. Disappointed there isn't a song with Kweli or Mos Def on there. Consequence only made one song which is a goody. Not a big fan of the Nas track either I expect a little bit better. I guess since I was such a big fan of College Dropout is why i'm disappointed that this isnt on the same par IMO. It will sell. Hopefully outsells Tony Yayo though.

Yeah Horn couldnt see. Chuck bombed on him and LET him get back up. Horn said he could standup with Chuck and Chuck was going to make him prove he could. Chuck couldve finished him off at anytime. Just my opinion. Martin was winning that fight before he telegraphed the takedown and caught that nasty knee that ended his night. The Law Vs Doerkson was disappointing. Couture looked like he might be in trouble a few times in the standup but took Van Arsdale down and did what he does best. Diego continues to win; hopefully they put him up against someone who is well rounded next fight. Forrest Vs Ian Freeman next UFC sounds like some fun to me.
