That storyline was mentioned in the IGN review so its not a real big shocker. You can't really blame the game makers; they cant re-use too much stuff thats already happened and they can't spoil future WWE ideas. There's only so much they can do.

"Poor AI and unavoidable chain attacks can get frustrating." They need some competition or an overhaul or something. Smackdown's series is starting to feel to me much like the Madden NFL series does when I play it I feel like i'm playing the exact same game I was playing 5 years ago with little to no differences. Zero - Did people start letting up on the whole trade CAW thing online? When I first got the game and I went online people would only trade CAWs nobody would just send one to you and I thought that was quite ridiculous considering THQ put the whole system in place so you wouldn't have to go on and spend an hour on a CAW at a time. Nice to see that Austin has the smoking skull belt and that Tazz is the Tazz we all know and love.

The review at least for PS2 is up on IGN.com; kind of odd that its up a full week before the game usually theyre right around the release or a day after.

Undertaker and Khali are up...and as for Khali's finisher it's the "Brain Chop" I really wish they would let us edit how much damage each move does.

Swick isn't ready. Perhaps the UFC should match him up against Leben for their 2nd fight. Swick's only loss is to Leben and they both have drawing power from being on TUF. I don't see Swick giving Silva any problems. Per Matt Lindland on a radio show not too long ago his WFA contract is up as of next month so they could get sign him. He's a good fighter and recognized enough to where if they put him in against Silva the average Joe would see that and still buy the fight and not say who's this guy?

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Franklin after a few of those knees the look on his face was horrible. Hughes was getting peppered by BJ Penn's standup Silva would KO Hughes if Hughes didn't go for the takedown asap. Sherk is a beast and he did what he had to do to win the fight.

Damn! Right again! Buentello with a first round knockout, but in all fairness my mom could've picked him over Tank. It wasn't even a fair fight.

It looks like I was actually right about something; Jason Von Flue is fighting on the Strikeforce undercard tonight so it looks like hes no longer in the UFC. Main Event of Tank Abbott/Paul Buentello. Headhunter by KO Round 1 I'm thinkin.

Mercury with the belt hanging from his waist makes this game the greatest of all time...Not seriously but thats awesome. I wonder if the CAW will have an option to adjust how your wrestler carries a belt.

I'm in; good luck to all on Saturday. The only fight I really had trouble picking for was Swick/Loiseau. I'm not so sure Swick will be able to beat him but we'll see.

Very solid card with a lot of exciting even matchups. Also lots of young talent who are trying to find their way into the UFC for good so it should be fun. Hughes by GNP but I wouldn't be suprised if Penn beats him. BJ is a world class MMA fighter but as his music that he comes down to the octagon says A Country Boy Can and Will Survive.

I wonder if theyll have the dual intro for Nitro and Melina when you pick her as his manager.

Link Melina has been put up; I love that they included her real entrance. I don't know what the deal is with her ring outfit though.

Don't get me wrong I love playing Smackdown it's always very entertaining. As a matter of fact I want to play so much but I'm at work right now haha. It just seems like THQ gets lazy because there isn't any competition ala EA Sports and Madden football. I'm interested to see what Midway does with TNA but I won't hold my breath. I'm hoping the sliders can carry over to season mode this year.
