I think the last Rangers game I watched was against Eintracht, but on paper it doesn't look too bad. Maybe he'll blag his way into another job on the back of his stats.

I think the gap between Celtic and Rangers and the rest of the SPL has widened so much that even bad managers are going to have 65%+ winning percentages.

To play a bit of devil's advocate; while he comes across as a cretin, he actually had a good win percentage and his 'poor run of form' has been losing to PSV, losing 1-0 to Ange's Celtic team and losing to Aberdeen after a red card. If I'm getting the sack on FM after that so early in the season right after beating Real Bétis, I'd be raging.

I think he has promised too much and failed to meet his own lofty goals, otherwise it seems pretty harsh. I'll miss the banter about his mole and him being a Poundland Danny Dyer.

Will be interesting to see what happens with his new signings like Danilo.

He lost 1-0 to a Celtic side with Liam Scales and Lagerbielke at the back though and the one way to deal with Celtic is to put a man on McGregor, plus Aberdeen have been awful this year. That and 'Cantwell doesn't suit playing Killie'. 😂

Supposedly there was problems between him and the players after the kit-man got the sack too. I think the biggest issue is he just promised all this stuff and there was zero identity to his tactics. He took Yilmaz out the Europa League squad then has started him the last few weeks. Job was just far too big for him. If we'd looked good but got beat the last few games I think fans would have been more forgiving.

Think he's just another in a long line of good 'tacticians' who can't make their ideas work in real game situations and better off as an assistant.

Steven Davis as caretaker player-manager. Quite nice to see a player-manager, that's a bit of a throwback. But he's got no experience so we'll see how that goes.

He's still injured and not sure he's even registered to play. Was still at the club to rehab his ACL injury.

  4. Week 7;

Aston Villa 2 vs. 2 Brighton (Sat 12.30pm, TNT)
West Ham 1 vs. 0  Sheff Utd (Sat 3pm)
Wolves 0 vs. 3 Man City (Sat 3pm)
Tottenham 2 vs. 1 Liverpool (Sat 5.30pm, Sky)
Nottm Forest 1 vs. 0 Brentford (Sun 2pm, Sky)

@Baddar is the number after the name correct scores? Should I not be at 3 as I had 1 the week before and got 2 this week. Apologies if mistaken!

EDIT - Also appear to be 3 points short. Scored 8 and only 5 added.

Yup, seemed that's where it was likely headed. I think we all know where disc 1 might be concluding too!

I think they have a ton of freedom with the third game as while narratively the Northern Crater is probably a tad over 2/3 of the way through there's so much you can add on based on some of the exposition dialogue crammed in during the game's late stages. Wouldn't be surprised if they go a 2 disc route with that one as well and just flesh out a ton of the stuff that was merely mentioned or in quick cut scenes. They could also just go wild with more shit to do in Midgar as well.

Could the second disc be the other reality where Zack survived?

I almost never preorder games but I think I'm going to have to with Rebirth.

I still haven't played the real game but going by the demo I got the sense that I'd be using that "press down on the pad and see reminders as to who the characters and the kingdoms and events being referenced are" feature a lot.

Still not sure who I’m actually fighting? Don’t get me wrong it’s a fun setting and game just doesn’t seem to make much sense.
