  1. Darren Fletcher really is more comfortable in the centre of midfield, where he doesn't get the opportunity to play often (and hopefully won't, as I'd rather see David Jones given a chance in there myself). Anyway, our Reserve team, featuring many of the people who won the Youth Cup a while back, have just stormed over the Reserve league, so does anybody think the best young talents in there, mainly Spector, Jones and Rossi, should be given more of a chance in the first team next season? Rossi in particular seems to me like a talent, but he has more of a lightweight frame than someone like Rooney, so would probably need easing into the team over the next season or two. I think Spector should be considered ahead of O'Shea and Phil Neville in the pcking order next season, and he's already a better full back the Quinton Fortune could ever be. I would like to see Jones be given a chance next season, but chances are he'll be loaned out for at least part of it. Gerard Pique is probably the only other one in there with a chance of making it in our first team, and given a few years could be challenging Brown and Silvestre for a starting spot next to Rio.

    Dream Team

I watch Dream Team religously. I felt a bit sorry for Frank yesterday, it's not his fault his bird turned mental afterall. And I was glad they didn't beat Arsenal, as although this show has never prided itself on realism, that would just be pushing the boundaries a bit too far.
  3. No surprises for the awards, and I'm glad Rooney one, as there was a lot of competition in that category. I pretty much agree with the Premiership XI as well, and its good to see so many English guys in there.
  4. I want to watch this, but its on at the same time as Doctor Who, which isn't the smartest decision ITV have ever made.
  5. Bah. Everyone on the whole team was just total shit today as far as I was concerned. Rooney thought he'd turned into superman and tried to do everything by himself. Scholes decided if he kicked the ball at an Everton player hard enough it'd just go straight through them, but then gave up on that plan altogether and just starting kicking Everton players. Ruud was awful again tonight, practically invisible most of the match. Ronaldo was wasteful all night, and his crossing was very poor. Gary Neville was just totally fucking stupid. And, the defending for the Everton goal, though it was a difficult ball to defend against, didn't really look as though Rio was anywhere near him. Basically, I can't draw a single plus point from this match. If anyone can, please feel free to point out somethng I'm missing, as I'd love to thnk that we weren't totally useless today.
  6. There's nothing wrong with saying you use an emulator, you just can't say where you got it from.
  7. That's more than I was expecting they would get, but still, more could of been done in my opinion.
  8. It would make sense to be 21, since the last limit that is used in any youth football competitions, appart from the Olympics. I don't even know how old are all of those, but i thougt wright phillips was 23? Maybe they just used the olympic standards. ←
  9. John Terry for me. He's been fantastic at the back for Chelsea this season, as well as chipping in with a fair few goals from set pieces, which is somthing I'd like to see Ferdinand do much more of.
  10. I always used to hate everything to do with pokemon, and never collected the cards or had the games. But, recently I've gotten myself an emulator for my PC and am really getting quite into the newer pokemon games. The games rule.
  11. To be fair, he said he was resting some players because of how poor we've been recently, specificaly against Palace, but his little experiment today was clearly a total failure.

    Doctor Who

Ugh, why the fuck couldn't the boyfriend of just died on the first episode? Anyway, I don't think it will be the Daleks on the next episode because I remember reading somewhere that they don't come in until the 6th episode. The next episode does look really good though.
  13. I had a fiver on Hedgehunter. Wth it being the favourite, I didn't win too much, but I was just glad to get it right.
  14. This sounds ineresting. Whenever a match i on aky that I usually wouldn't be interested in watching I usually just put a fiver on one of theteams to make it mean something to me. I'll transfer my betting "skills" over to this game.
  15. 1-0 to Liverpool. Even though its only been ten miutes, Liverpool have much the much better team so far this game. No doubt it won't last though. EDIT: 2-0, Luis Garcia with an absolutely stunning goal. Absolutely fantastic stuff from Liverpool, and Juventus just don't seem to be up for it yet.

    Doctor Who

Well, the shows aren't made so they look decent in 30 years time, they are made to be good now, and I found the bit with the ipod to be quite hilarious.

    Hustle

I saw it tonight and really enjoyed it. I'll definately be watching the rest of the series.

    Hustle

I didn't watch the first series but it seems nearly everyone people are going on about how good it was, so I'll definately be catching this series.
  19. Taylor has been fantastic in goal so far, and if it wasn't for him England would be up by a few goals by now. Still though, if the second half goes the same as the first we shouldn't have any problem winning.
