  1. This has had me addicted for quite a while now: WeDigTV Calling themselves the world's first 'TV-2' network, they are offering great replicas of UK Gameshows like Countdown, Deal or No Deal, Who Wants to be A Millionaire and more. It's easy to use and can be highly addictive, the only gripe I have with it is that sometimes the games outright refuse to load (or sometimes they just load at the speed of a tortoise in glue) since they updated the look of the website. Deal or No Deal seems to be the worst culprit, when it took me nearly 20 minutes to get a call from The Banker. However, this could be down to my 512k connection. Countdown is my favourite though and that normally works without any problems. I recently managed a 69,000 score, which certainly was a good position to be in. If you're a gameshow nut, you have to look at this.
  2. I am a total Sonic the Hedgehog nut when it comes to Mega Drive games. Now I may have only been 2 when Sonic and Knuckles were released, but when I first got to play them when I was about 5 I was hooked and I have been ever since. My favourite of the lot has to be Sonic 3, but when combined with S&K it is that much better, and both games house the best game music, the Dr. Robotnik theme tune is the best darn game music I have ever heard! The only Sonic games I really dislike on the Mega Drive are Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3-D. S3D looked nice and all, just I found the controls difficult and I think had it been in the format of the older predecessors it would have been a much better game. Sonic Spinball I just found boring, but I guess that's my opinion. Overall I think that the original Sonic series (1-S&K) are gems and they have WAY more playability (but, then again, so do many games from this era) than any of the games released nowadays. These games never get old or boring. Other favourites have to be Micro Machines and Flashback, not forgetting to mention WWF Raw and Cool Spot. I also remember Doom on the 32X, if that counts. That used to scare me when I was little.
  3. I'd say the best one overall is Here Comes the Pain because of its never before seen features like the elimination chamber and limb damage as mentioned before, and of course the Legends, but I still enjoy Shut Your Mouth to this day. I loved all the interactive backstage areas, and sadly there were only a handful in the later games of the series. For I used to get great fun out of throwing a snowball at Ric Flair out on Times Square. Also I feel the CAW mode on there was the most user-friendly. Whatever you do, don't go near the latest release, SmackDown vs. RAW 2007, especially on the PS2 (as I haven't seen it on the Xbox 360). The control system is awful, the fan has been juiced out of it completely, and the only new match type is Money in the Bank. Also, loading times are worse than Know Your Role on PSOne. SmackDown vs. RAW and SmackDown vs. RAW 2006 are quite good, and the season modes are good for the first time you play them, but when you're faced with Teddy Long getting run over every single time at the start of a SmackDown season, things get a little boring. 2006 has a few anticipated match types like Buried Alive which are quite fun to play, and the start of match mini-games have been improved. I noticed someone say Just Bring It! was 'godawful', but it wasn't all bad. I liked the look of some of the wrestlers, although they do look a little squashed and loading times [bar the opening screen] were minimal. If you can find a later SmackDown title where Triple H looks more like himself, tell me. The 'season mode' (if you can call 3 or 4 matches in a row that) was awful though. We can only wait and see what SmackDown vs. RAW 2008 holds (if that is indeed being released on the PS2) before we say which is definitely best. Judging on last winter's release though, I'm going with a tie between HCTP and SYM.
  4. Batman (1989) Well, it was my favourite a good few years back, but looking at it now it's just not the same. But hey, it's the JOKER, and that Museum scene always makes me laugh, whether it's because it's funny or terrible, I do not know. 6/10
  5. I was off sick yesterday and I watched: CountDown What a legendary quiz. 8/10
  6. Queen - Innuendo, 1991 This album may be older than myself, but I still love it. The songs on it are full of so many messages, some songs appear to be light-hearted, some very dark and gloomy, as Freddie Mercury came into the final stages of his life due to AIDS. It's a very nice album with songs sung from the heart in a whole range of styles. My favourites on the album are, well, all of them, but ones that stand out are Innuendo, Headlong, Bijou, and These are the Days of Our Lives. A totally awesome album, Freddie's last album was one of their best - 9/10
  7. I played Hitman: Blood Money, that game is great, and also, it made me dig out Hitman: Codename 47 which was my favourite game at one time. I used to love the level in the hotel.
  8. This is the first in a number of possible King of the Ring logos (if this one is unpopular) I have made for the upcoming event in my diary. This is my first attempt at making a PPV Banner with Photoshop. Only in my 1994 one in the Cube have I used it in the past (and they're all pretty basic) , I did post a WrestleMania graphic in here months ago but that was done with the GIMP Now it's not the best quality version and some bits are blurry I know that, and looking at some of the others in the forum i'm way out but what the hey -------------------- -------------------- Yay or Nay?
  9. I have absolutely no idea who should really play The Joker in this film... I liked Batman 89, even though it kind of scared me when I was little. I didn't think Jack Nicholson was terrible... but he wasn't great either. And I never understood the ending of that film with that green bag... and that "broken record" laugh.... Perhaps he was laughing at Batman and Vicki hanging there. I'M JUST SO GLAD THEY'VE GOT THE JOKER IN ANOTHER FILM! But anyone who has watched Neighbours knows that Paul Robinson (Stephen something or other) would make a great Joker :lmao: sorry for going off topic a bit
  10. WrestleMania VI please give me your opinions and feedback but be nice it's my first try with a new program. I did make some others, but they're being annoying and are refusing to upload. Open to all your slaughtering.
  11. LEGENDS Legends I would like to see in the game: (grouped but in no particular order) Definitely: > Demolition (Ax, Smash and Crush) They would look good on the next gen systems and plus they were a great mega-popular tag team in the late 1980s. > Andre The Giant Has to be in there, full stop. World Class Legend. RIP. > Jake Roberts (Where you can actually unlock him without having to buy a PSP or cheating) Don't know about you but I felt cheated when I found out I'd need to buy a PSP to unlock him, he should come back this year. > The Hart Foundation (Bret, Owen and/or Jim Neidhart) It's good to have Bret but at the beginning of his career he was a tag team wrestler, so he should have one of his tag team partners in here. > Hulk Hogan (same attires as in 06) I don't like him too much but he ruled the 80s. > Ted DiBiase The Million Dollar Man was a great heel, should definitely been in there albeit his third appearance if he does. > Mick Foley (Mankind/Cactus Jack/Dude Love attires) Can you imagine Cactus Jack spreading pins all around the ring floor? Or Mick Foley donning the dreaded sock? Or Dude Love dancing his way down to the ring? I can... It'd be great. The attires he wore would also have potential to look a lot better. > Rick Rude Rude was one of the most charasmatic people on the roster.. should make his legend debut this year. > Eddie Guerrero They should definitely put Guerrero on here as a legend this year as a mark of respect to the great who left too soon. > Mr. Perfect I'm surprised he hasn't been on already, very talented wrestler and charasmatic, would be a good character to have on the game. OTHERS Could be Good: Razor Ramon Yokozuna Jim Duggan Chris Jericho Roddy Piper The Ultimate Warrior Jerry Lawler Dusty Rhodes King Kong Bundy The Rock Randy Savage Steve Austin Unlikely: Animal Hawk Kevin Nash X-Pac Bob Backlund And a legend arena - WrestleMania 1 I say, with the proper retro blue ring. Hell, there are sooooo many! I think about 5-15 of these would be good, although I doubt there will be that many legends this year. Old School Undertaker and Masked Kane should be second attires for Kane and Undertaker (like with Kane last year), Triple H could even have a Hunter Hearst Helmsley attire. I think they should bring back the Attire system like in Shut Your Mouth, where almost every wrestler had at least two different attires to choose from. And also, just off the subject, there should be WAY more backstage areas, having one or two is pathetic and even the original SmackDown! had four. Oh, and lots, lots more weapons that don't disappear after using them four times.
  12. Legends of Wrestling... eurgh what a terrible game, along with FIFA 2004.. very disappointed with that one
  13. how do you put pictures into your posts? do they have to be off the internet? surely not. i have some on my computer i would like to upload.
