  1. What old characters or gaming titles do you miss that are no longer around for one reason or another? Mine are mostly platformers and if they came back in some form, I'd be happy: (Hidden behind a spoiler. as there's a fair few) Spoiler: Click here to view Croc was quite a cool platformer although very kiddish, I did play it when I was a lot younger. Throw in a few dark side elements that games seem to be obsessed with recently and people'll lap it up. Klonoa is another platformer, where you're this wierd dog thing that can fly for a bit with his ears. I remember the puzzles being good, and there was the set up for a potential decent villain. The simplest fighter I've ever played. All attacks are done with and a directional button, but there's still some strategy involved. The storyline would need a major shakeup though. Tombi is one of the wierdest games I've played, but in a good way. I was addicted to the demo and when I finally got the game, many hours of my life were sunk in to finding leaf butterflies and throwing evil pigs in to bags. May have to fire this up in a bit. It spawned a sequel, but I have not yet played it. Unfortunately, Whopee Camp are out of business, so it looks like I'm shit out of luck unless I ever get the funds to make it. A brilliant monster raising game. You went in to forests in order to complete your training to defend your village (of which most of the residents get turned to stone, you failure) from monsters that live in the forests. You can only carry three monsters, but can attack and defeat the monsters yourself. The cool thing was that you could Merge the Minions (that's what they're called) and then they become really fucked up little things. I had some disgusting looking Minions by the end of the game. They could totally destroy you though. With WiFi play, I'd love to see a DS remake first of all, and then start on the sequelage, with perhaps having Jade Cocoon 2, but I'd prefer to have the first one and then start a new DS sequel line. Yes, there was a time when I thought Sony could do no wrong.
  2. New Super Mario Bros. is good for a platforming blast.
  3. So, me and Benji are restarting on this now. Is anyone else still playing or wanting to restart with us?
  4. What games do she already have/which games (or genre of games) have you seen that you like?
  5. Source: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/a95569/...-the-works.html Why do Hollywood want to give everything a sequel?
  6. Kingdom Hearts PSP one is called Birth By Sleep. Anyways: 1) Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Really want two of them, can ignore Coded. Birth By Sleep seems like it will be fun and Square Enix are at E3 so hopefully some new trailers shall comes soon. I hope for WiFi play on the DS one, 358/2 Days (which is pronounced three-hundred and fifty eight over two days). 358/2 Days Birth By Sleep 2) Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire Of The Rift Tactics Advance was immense fun either in little blasts or for hours worth of play. Interesting story as well. I've sneaked a look at the new jobs and races and they seem good. Tactics A2 3) New Prince Of Persia I know it was only recently announced, but I'm playing through the trilogy at the moment and remembering how much I truly love this game series. Trailer Site The first two are a lot more immediate than the last one and I'm obviously looking forward to games like FFXIII and Tekken 6, but for now I'm focusing my attention on these games.
  7. I Lostprophets stuff from Fake Sound Of Progress to their current stuff. Just not got any of their music atm. Also thought I have to get some Sugarcult too. Halifax, I'm sure someone sent me a song by them yesterday, so I'll check it out later. (Y) Once again, cheers for the recommendations. Working through and reading them all. Just trying to obtain them all someway.
  8. Sneak Peek #1 - http://www.fanpop.com/spots/lost/videos/1219780 Sneak Peek #2 - http://www.fanpop.com/spots/lost/videos/1219824 Episode details Spoiler: Click here to viewLocke flashback episode. Ethan & Alpert are meant to appear in it.
  9. I'm working my way through the list, cheers for the Rickolus link, have downloaded those three and have Rise Or Die Trying going and some Reliant K, so your efforts are not in vain. My speakers are a little screwy though, so shall have to wait until I put it on iPod to give opinions.
  10. Discussion in the Iron Man thread (if you watch it, stay after the credits) made me wonder how many people do stay after movie credits and whether they stay for all films. I usually go and see films with two friends, and we'll usually stay after the credits, but we tried to stay after the AVP credits and they switched them off. The credits must have ran for ten minutes themselves at least though.
  11. I have an 80GB iPod now, which with all my music, podcasts and videos still leaves me with 70GB free, so I'd like some music recommendations based on what I already have, so here's a quick sample of the artists on my iPod now: - Motion City Soundtrack - Jason Mraz - Panic! At The Disco - Fall Out Boy - Linkin Park - Green Day - Scouting For Girls - Good Charlotte - Utada Hikaru - Eagle-Eye Cherry So recommendations based on those artists would be much appreciated, so that all this spare space doesn't go to waste.

    Jason Mraz

At the start of the year I started to get in to Jason Mraz after hearing "Did You Get My Message" played by someone going by in a car and then later on it came on at work via our tannoy music system thing, so then obtained the album it was on and now I like pretty much all of his stuff and he has a new album coming out on the 13th called We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. but before then are three separate EPs called We Sing, We Dance and then We Steal Things. Have obtained the We Sing EP today and am liking it all so far. Shall buy the CD when it comes out. Anyone else got opinions on Mr. A-Z or is it just me?
  14. Fine, I tried Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for a few minutes today. Played and completed the first bit of the storyline to get used to controls and I love the Snake Cam bit. Then I went online and ended up in a no respawns deathmatch against only one person on The Streets. I sailed down a rope and saw a great place to hide, so pressed myself against the wall there and lay in wait. Then I heard the sound of him coming down the rope I had used a few moments ago, looked around the corner, and shot him three times in the legs. Win to me. The laying in wait was great, knowing an opponent was coming around at any moment. I may be going back on it tomorrow for longer. Yeah, put my name down on Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Call Of Duty just in case I play COD at some point. Also remembered that MGS4 was out pretty soon, so fired up MGS2 to remember everything MGS in advance.
  15. Cool, shall have to pick up the DVD. Watched the finale earlier and found it pretty good.
  16. Now my Wii Fit age is the same as my actual age. ^_^
  17. It asks you the weight of your clothes, so I'd weighed myself on the scales earlier with and without to know how much to take off.
  18. Cool, I assume the rest of the season one episodes will just form most of season two.
  19. Sorry to drag this back up after so long, but it's better than starting another thread. This recently started in the UK, and I've caught up on all but the finale online and am loving it. Any ideas as to when it's coming back on in America, as I know they tweaked 1x09 to be the finale of the season due to the writers strike. I was about to write that Digby and Chuck are my favourites, but realised that was a lie. Only nine episodes in, too early to decide on a favourite character.
  20. The weight limit is 23st/146kg on the European one. Perhaps they'll increase it for the US one though.
  21. The game says that losing 2lbs a day is healthy. Or was it per week? Either way, the results will be a bit skewed until I get used to the excercises, much like with Wii Sports.
  22. Massive destructive Smokey was awesome, but his appearance raised more questions. Damn Lost.
  23. I've lost 3lbs today and .30 BMI and my Wii Fit Age went down to 31, which will soon only be 10 years above my real age. Got to get it to 21 before I'm 21.
  24. Source: http://pcgames.gwn.com/news/story.php/id/1..._Announced.html I'm quite glad. Something I actually want to play on the PS3 Official Site: http://www.princeofpersiagame.com/
