  1. Anthony Reyes is the only St. Louis starter who didn't pitch twice so I guess it's him. It's either him on 5 days rest or Weaver on 3 days rest.
  2. I'm pretty sure Endy Chavez just made the greatest play I've ever seen and maybe ever.
  3. Friday Night Lights was a GREAT movie. I bought the football scenes and I bought the emotion. The part with the Billignsleys at the end damn near drove me to tears. The book is even better and tells a whole other story that the movie ignored.
  4. Okay, lets go Mets in Game 6. We need this NLCS to go to 7 games. An extra inning game or two wouldn't hurt either.
  5. Tough break for TNA. I'm guessing they were counting on a big walk up crowd and are now going up against Game 2 of the World Series. The Tigers first World Series trip in 22 years. Not good.
  6. I live in Michigan, nobody believed in them. Most had the AL Central coming down to Cleveland and the White Sox. This is amazing, from 12 straight losing seasons to the World Series. I can't believe it. 2006 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPS!!!
  7. I'd say this was the best episode. If I had to rank them Id go 4, 1, 2, 3. The comotion and everything made the thing seem live. Knowing that Sorkin did it with The West Wing before, I'd like to see them do a 90-minute special live as if the show is actually happening. I'm really getting into Timothy Busfield's character and wish they could find more for him to do. I like how they are giving Ricky & Ron some backbone and integitry instead of just being unfunny, spineless weasels that they were portrayed to be early on.
  8. But hey, this will give CBS a spot for another CSI spin off. The assholes.
  9. This is why I have no faith in network TV. Fuck you, CBS.
  10. ESPN cited the NY Daily News. You know FOX is praying that the Mets make it to the World Series to draw the New York market in.
  11. I have a question. I missed about a season or two of ER because it got really shitty among other things so I missed this, when and how the hell did Dr. Weaver loose her crutch?
  12. ESPN News is reporting that Joe Torre will be fired by the Yankees and replaced by Lou Pinella.
  13. I just want to make sure everyone is prepared for November 18 when an undefeated Michigan teams rolls into Columbus to take on the undefeated Luck.....errr Buckeyes of Ohio State and Michigan SHOCKS THE WORLD. As for FSU, I have a feeling that whoever "Papa" Bowden wants is going to get that job. Bobby Bowden IS Florida State. In fact, his successor will probably be determined at a family picnic or something.
  14. Kenny Rogers with an amazing performance tonight. I have never wanted one win SOOOOOOO bad. Need a big game from Bonderman. The Evil Empire goes down again!
  15. Has it been determined if Randy Johnson, will or will not pitch with the fork that is stuck in his back?
  16. But say if they do win it next year, old Buck will be getting hired and fired more than Marty Jannetty.
  17. The Red Wings open their season tomorrow. For the first time in my lifetime, Steve Yzerman will not be wearing the "C." Gonna be strange.
  18. Amanda Peet has got to go. She is the only character I am not buying at all. One thing I'm getting really sick of really quickly is all the "crazy, right christian" sentiment. Talk about potraying sterotypes.
  19. As a Tigers fan last night was the epitome of their problems. Everything is predicated on hitting home runs. In the 2nd and 3rd innings they had golden opportunities to pounce on Wang and couldn't get it done and then Robertson gave up a bajillion runs in the bottom of the 3rd. But, it was a nice showing to make a game of it and the fact that Rivera had pitch last night was a plus. Mussina is coming off an injury so hopefully they can get to him, maybe he wont have his best stuff and they NEED a strong performance from the AL Rookie of the Year Elect Justin Verlander. The Rangers fired Buck Showalter today so you know what that means: Your 2007 World Series Champions: THE TEXAS RANGERS!!!!
