The whistle while the opposition have the ball thing really annoys me! Can't imagine being at a game and spending the majority of it whistling in a high pitch.

Not sure what the Arsenal defending was up to at that corner. Sanchez was on Hangeland for some reason and then once Hangeland has brushed past him, Sanchez seemed to run in the opposite direction. Even with zonal marking (as I presume it was) you can't allow the tallest player on the park to run from one side of the six yard box to the other with no-one picking him up. Far too easy.

Would be such a shame to see Cazorla leave and Arsenal would be a bit mental to let it happen. Probably one of the top 3 "behind the strikers" players in the league just now. Id much rather have any of Eriksen, Oscar, Ozil, Mata, Hazard, Barkley or even Sterling. Think Arsenal would be fine without Carzola with the players they have. To be honest I'm probably basing this too much on my love of Cazorla. Hazard I wasn't counting as I class him more as a winger who comes inside, rather than an out and out "in the hole" player. Top 3 was, David Silva, Mata and Cazorla. Eriksen a very close 4th. Again I'm probably very biased here and I don't watch much premier league stuff, but if you were to give me a blank teamsheet to fill out, Santi would come very close to being my first choice number ten based on the last few seasons.

Spain just didn't look like they had a plan B. Costa was obviously unfit watching the Dutch game, so to even start him tonight was a bit mental. Can give him ten/twenty at the end if needed. And then to keep the same formation even when 2-0 down and it wasn't working just didn't make sense. Switch things around a bit and go two up front, or bring on some speedy wingers to try and hurt them. Koke and Cazorla were both the wrong choices for subs. David Villa should have been used, and Jesus Navas or someone like Iker Muniain should have been in the squad to offer something different to the mass of attacking creative centre midfielder (Iniesta, Xavi, Fabregas, Mata, Cazorla, Silva).

Neymar in tears at the national anthem showed just how much this means to these guys. Also loved how loudly David Luiz was singing! Always enjoy a good national anthem at sporting events and that was one of the best I've seen/heard in a while!

Why is this such an argument? First incident wasn't in, second was. Commentator is having a shocker here!

Gerrard has had an absolute shocker there. Not just for the first goal but for the entire second half, was trying so hard to make up for the mistake that he was just rushing things and shooting from everywhere when an easy pass was on. The mistake happened to completely the wrong person for Liverpool, had it been another of the midfielders (Lucas, Allen etc) they would have continued with their normal game, Gerrard just got far too desperate and it completely destroyed any plans that Liverpool had. Cracking by Mourinho though.

I said I was doing it right I'm more concerned that you managed to switch allegiance with such ease. Especially going from Chelsea to Liverpool. Would assume that's sort of similar to going from Arsenal to Man United or something like that. It shouldn't be allowed! However, talking about things like that will just annoy me, so, Killie are my local team and my dad took me to watch them from a very early age. In the blood now. Same as metalman, two trophies in 17 or so years now, but they mean so much more when you win them and you aren't expecting to.

Surely there must have been a better game for Sky to show than this? A close game say a Fulham vs Arsenal, Sunderland vs Everton, West Brom vs Newcastle or Swansea vs Southampton would have been better for the neutral than a United walkover?

Niall Quinn shouldn't be allowed to commentate on Sunderland games.
