I'm hyped for this movie, because I read the book, and loved it. The shit that goes down in Texas HS football made me want to play there

The way I see it, it's just another jock football movie and i'm tired of watching stuff like that. I don't fully know the stroy, but the previews don't make me think the story is that deep.

Is Friday Night Lights the one where the journalist guy follows around a Texas High School team for a year or something? I was going to buy the book from a specialist store in Manchester, but I hadn't the cash. Seemed good though.

I'm gonna go see it and stuff. I haven't read the book, but it looks like an awesome movie. I didn't even know there was a book about it. I dont' really know much about it but it looks like a great football movie and stuff so I'm gonna go see it.

I'm reading the book now, and I can't wait for the movie to come out. When I went to Australia over the summer, I went with a bunch of people that go to Permian that're extras in the movie.

Urgh, I hate how everyone automatically thinks of any football movie as a jock movie because they were the scrawny kids in school. I've read some of the book, but I'll probably enjoy the movie more.
