I've been using Paint.NET, but they don't look nice as the ones you all make.

Depending on which computer I'm on... Photoshop C5 or GIMP.

I'm mostly on the PC as I despise notebook/laptops (whatever) So I primarily use GIMP + it's free

Do you use the cutting tool or do you make a new layer then trace it with the line tool?

I have to open it up to see

I right click the image>Layer>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel

Then just use the Erase Tool.

Just do as search for Road Warrior Animal/Hawk on photobucket and it should come up with something.
