Medievil

I have vague positive recollections of a PS1 game called "Medievil", centering around you playing a skeletal night with no lower jaw and a sword, and there being lots of disembodied hands everywhere, and a very Nightmare Before Christmas feel to the whole thing.

Beyond that, I don't remember much about it, but I just bid for it on eBay. Anyone have any memories/opinions on this game?

I liked it, a lot more than it's sequal. I haven't played it for years, but it was pretty fun, some of the levels were pretty inventive. I can't really remember much about the story though, other than there's a maze at one point where you have to answer riddles. How much was it going for?

I've played it, or atleast I think I have. Is there a part where you are in a church or something, and monsters pop of of caskets? If so, this be the game. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm currently bidding on Medievil 2 for £5, and Medievil 1 for £4, there's someone selling both the price was sky-rocketing.

That's a pretty good price for those games. Hope the Medievil for PSP turns out as well as its other games.

Really under-rated game, the first one. I loved it. I never heard of a sequel though.

The sequel was all about time travel and shit, you had Cleopatra as a sidekick.

The first one was good... for it's time.

Speaking of this game, I remember playing a game like it, except it was on Dreamcast and the Computer. It was called "Typing of the Dead" you typed the words/sentences and killed zombies. Now that was a fun time.
