The Watcher Presents THE BATTLE DOME!

I agree with LL. Brock should be very interesting, and eventhough he isn't an MMA guy he is still a former amature wrestler and obviously pretty stacked. I can see him winning more than a few fights in the Dome... unless he goes off challenging Sun Tzu. Than he will probably get killed.

I liked the show, and my boy Maple Leaf got the W which is good. Can't wait to bet again. I remember doing pretty well last time.

Naiwf-- great shows, BUT...

I hope you work on making better "odds" for future shows. If they're anything like the first two, as soon as bidding is opened I guarantee I will make a profit on every match I wager on. I realize math is hit-or-miss with some people, and that it may be too much trouble, but the Watcher would *never* set these odds if he hoped to profit.

Overall, though, keep up the good writing, and if you want help with the evil math, let me know.

Battle Dome's fifth season is now a couple of weeks old, and "the bloodiest, lewdest and most violent TV program in America" has delivered a death, and complete nudity in just two shows! The death of Amazing Red has caused protestors to come out of the woodworks again, and feminist groups have been flooding our phone lines since yesterday's show concluded. Does it matter to us? HELL NO! However, our next show will have to be a lot less colorful as we are on probation in the great city of London. After inciting two days worth of rioting in our last trip, it has taken quite some time to regain a permit and for that reason we're presenting a rare card with no specialty matches.

BATTLEDOME: SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST SEASON 5, WEEK 3

From London, England

(1:2) Brock Lesnar vs 'The Iceman' Chuck Liddell (12:1)

(8:1) Valentina vs 'Harte Königin' Wesna (2:1)

(1:10) The Patriot IV vs Simon Diamond (20:1)

(35:1) 'The Phoenix' Jody Fleisch vs 'The Ebony Prince' Zulu (1:10)

MAIN EVENT - WINNERS ENTER PPV MAIN EVENT

(2:1) Frank & Ken Shamrock vs Dan Severn & Masato Tanaka (3:1)

Next Wednesday night, BATTLE DOME will focus entirely on wrestling and MMA action, with some of the most skilled workers in the industry performing. Of particular interest to fans are the final three matches on the card. England's least favorite wrestler, the American champion The Patriot IV will be on hand and will likely be as despised as Zulu, the man who will face one of their own. If Jody Fleisch can somehow manage to leave the ring with a victory he will no doubt become a hero in his native land, and very rich, but the oddsmakers have not been kind to 'The Phoenix' installing him as a tremendous underdog. We will also get our first glimpse at Germany's finest, Wesna who has adopted the moniker of 'Hardcore Queen' in recent months. Finally, two more men will earn the right to participate in the NO RINGED CIRCUS Main Event which will determine the new Blood Sport Champion! The Shamrocks will put their differences aside, and their submission skills to the test as they compete against two of the hardest strikers in BATTLE DOME, Dan Severn & Masato Tanaka, who will be teaming up for the first time ever.

Over the years, many have wondered whether or not BATTLE DOME can keep an audience without gratuitous violence or the promise of sex. Tune in this Sunday night at 10 PM on HBO to find out how our fans relate to a show without most of BATTLE DOME's unique draws, and remember to place your bets early and often, as a potential fortune is no more than a phone call or a few clicks of your mouse away!

(1:2) Brock Lesnar vs 'The Iceman' Chuck Liddell (12:1) - You gotta give Brock the win, even though I don't want to see it.

(8:1) Valentina vs 'Harte Königin' Wesna (2:1) - Just a guess.

(1:10) The Patriot IV vs Simon Diamond (20:1) - I don't think you'd talk about his debut if he wasn't gonna win

(35:1) 'The Phoenix' Jody Fleisch vs 'The Ebony Prince' Zulu (1:10) - Gotta give the prince his win.

MAIN EVENT - WINNERS ENTER PPV MAIN EVENT

(2:1) Frank & Ken Shamrock vs Dan Severn & Masato Tanaka (3:1) - I have a feeling maybe the Shamrock brothers will start some excellent tag team action in the BATTLE DOME!

Big fan of this still Naiwf

BATTLEDOME: SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST SEASON 5, WEEK 3

From London, England

Tonight's show began in similar fashion to last week's in that it showed a small clip of the Main Event followed up with a few hundred protestors calling for the end of BATTLE DOME outside of our Las Vegas offices! After that, we were treated to the infamous London riots of Season 3 which ended with The Patriot II defeating Union Jack in a "Loser Leaves Town" match. The American grappler quit during the following week after receiving numerous death threats as the company was unable to escape London for nearly 3 days.

Moments later, the cameras showed the inside of the expandable 30,000 seat arena, which was nearly full as just over 29,000 people were crammed into the venue. It was clear that Europeans from all over the region were in the building, but that the majority of tonight's fans were British, as dozens of flags ranging from small to 10 sizes too large were on display in the crowd shot. The 'Blood Marks' were not nearly as loud as they had been on our two previous shows as soccer style chanting drowned them out, mainly due to the fact that NO specialty matches had been signed, and well a show without guaranteed depravity just doesn't float the Blood Marks' boat. After the noise died down a bit, a graphic was displayed with the faces and pertinent stats of the two BATTLE DOME rookies who would be vying for one spot on the main roster in the opener.

1 - CAN 'THE ICEMAN' COOL LESNAR?

Our first match began with some generic metal leading out 'The Iceman' Chuck Liddell, a man who has seen his share of fortune and fame as a former UFC star and trainer on their reality TV show. While Liddell has been successful he has mainly managed to do so competing at the 205 pound weight limit of UFC's Light Heavyweight division. Tonight, he would have to take on a man who was easily 90 pounds heavier and far stronger than he as Brock Lesnar made his way out to MASSIVE boos.

Liddell didn't seem bothered by Lesnar's size and charged at Brock as the bell sounded, landing a few bombs on his jaw with both his right and left hand. Lesnar wobbled a bit under the pressure, and may have been out on his feet for a moment or two before he finally tied Chuck up in a clinch. Liddell fought himself free and caught Brock with a few more devastating hooks to the temple, but got caught with a blatant low blow kick as he tried to finish Lesnar off. The crowd booed wildly as the ref warned Lesnar, but the damage had been done as Liddell was down on his knees gasping for air. A big knee to the temple clearly dazed Chuck and an overhead release throw didn't help his cause any. Brock then used his size and immense strength to wear on Liddell for a few moments before. Lesnar then went back to his old techniques by catching Chuck with a devastating double powerbomb before attempting to make a cover. Just as the ref's hand was about to hit the mat a third time, Lesnar pulled Chuck up and let out a laugh as he was once again warned by the official. Lesnar then pulled a limp Liddell up, propped him up on his massive shoulders and wiped him out with a huge F5 to seal the deal. Lesnar then trash talked a fallen Liddell, who had been winning the match until Lesnar decided to completely ignore the rules. Once Chuck recovered he made it crystal clear that he wanted a rematch!

Brock Lesnar p. 'The Iceman' Chuck Liddell

Watcher: "I don't know whether to admire 'The Iceman's approach of taking on the nearly 300 pounder head on, or to mock him for not expecting Lesnar to break the rules whenever he had the chance to do so. In any event, Brock Lesnar is now 1-0 in his young BATTLE DOME career, and will certainly be one to keep an eye on as the season progresses. It is my guess that this is not the end of the issue between those two, and Liddell's awesome punching power will serve him well as he looks to rebound from this defeat."

2 - THE WATCHER DELIVERS THE DREAM MATCH OF AN ERA PAST

For the second time in three weeks, The Watcher then rose from his press box area seat and walked down to the ring, as the crowd greeted him with a mixture of whistles and cheers. Wasting no time, The Watcher entered the ring and pulled out a microphone from his ornately decorated robes.

Watcher: "I deliberately waited until we returned to London to announce what may just be the biggest match we've ever held. This coming Sunday, when we journey to Africa we will see a battle of two of wrestling's greatest legends. Yes BATTLE DOME fans, you will get to see the first ever encounter between two men who represented the old guard of professional wrestling. You will get to see the dream match of "all time" as the greatest WWF Champion will do battle with the greatest WCW Champion in MY ring. You will see GOLDBERG vs 'THE MACHO MAN' RANDY SAVAGE!"

In this reality, 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage ended up having a mixture of the careers of Hulk Hogan & Triple H. He never went to WCW, and retired 2 years ago as a 13 time World Champion, with his reigns totalling roughly 7 years between his first win at WM IV on March 27th, 1988 & his final match which took place almost exactly 15 years later on March 30th, 2003 at WM XIX where he was defeated in a title vs career match against 6 time World Champion HHH. Goldberg never lost to Kevin Nash and was the undefeated WCW World Heavyweight Champion when the company went under on March 26th, 2001 with his streak of consecutive wins quickly approaching 500, where he would have finally lost to the man groomed to replace him, 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. Goldberg has not competed since that time despite being offered a reported $ 5 million payday to participate at last year's WrestleMania where he conceivably would have been defeated by HHH in a WCW/WWF Title unification bout.

Battle Dome's fifth season is heading towards its first PPV, and with all three BATTLE DOME championships on the line this Sunday expect the unexpected from "the bloodiest, lewdest and most violent TV program in America"! As we have stated before, this is our first major show to ever be held in Africa, and as such the arena will be full even on its expanded setting as all 50,000+ seats have been sold.

BATTLEDOME: NO RINGED CIRCUS

From Cape Town, South Africa

GRUDGE MATCH

Ayako Hamada vs 'The High Class Hooker' Halloween Barbie

DOUBLE DEBUT MATCH

'The Monster' Kevin Randleman vs Samoa Joe

HARLOT TITLE MATCH

Amy Dumas vs Madness

BATTLE OF THE LEGENDS

Goldberg vs 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage

FIGHTING SPIRIT TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

American Dragon vs Jerry Lynn vs 'Crime Time' Elix Skipper

BLOODSPORT TITLE MATCH - 10 MAN NO RING MATCH

featuring Sun Tzu, The Patriot IV, Zulu, Mapleleaf, Low Ki, Mirko Cro Cop, Dan Severn & Masato Tanaka, the final two entrants will be announced live on PPV!

Firstly, we will see a huge grudge match between Ayako Hamada & 'The High Class Hooker' Halloween Barbie. Back in week 2, we saw the two engage in a scuffle early on in the show, before Barbie interfered in the Main Event, where she struck Hamada with a steel pipe to the back of the head costing her the chance to fight for the Harlot Title. Speaking of which, Amy Dumas & Madness will battle it our for the right to be the first Harlot Champion of season 5. Both of those ladies have been champions in other organizations, and while Dumas will be favored if the match ends up becoming a brawl, there is no doubt that Madness is the most talented female mat wrestler currently working in the United States. It will be interesting to see how this pair of matches plays out as Hamada no doubt would want the chance to extract revenge from Madness, while Barbie has already assisted the former Molly Holly, and likely would do so again if the price is right.

No Ringed Circus will also mark the BATTLE DOME debut of two talented workers from different parts of the industry, as former Ring of Honor Champion Samoa Joe will step into the ring against former UFC Champion 'The Monster' Kevin Randleman. While Joe is the larger of the two men by at least 60 pounds, and considered a "stiff" worker in the professional wrestling ranks, he has never engaged in legitimate hand to hand combat, while Randleman is a veteran of some 20 Mixed Martial Arts fights, with fights against such luminaries as Bas Rutten, Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, Mirko Cro Cop & Fedor Emelianenko. The company obviously holds both of these men in high regard considering that they were granted one of the coveted PPV outings/payouts. While the winner is in question, the likelihood that someone will be knocked out in devastating fashion is more than enough to sell this potentially explosive match up.

The next match really speaks for itself, as we will FINALLY get to see the most anticipated match of the last decade featuring two professional wrestlers who have become legends in their own time. It's debatable as to which man has had the bigger impact over the last handful of years, but when you have the only undefeated former WCW Champion Goldberg take on a former 13 time WWF World Champion in 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage, you know that you have a match the fans want to see. Rumor has it that Goldberg was quite upset to see that Savage is favored in this match considering he has never lost a match as a professional, but the oddsmakers have taken into account Savage's legendary exploits in bars across the States, as he has defended himself against countless morons who thought it would be in their best interest to take on a man who competes in a "fake" sport for a living. Will Savage be the man to register Goldberg's first loss, or is he simply "next"?

In just three days, American Dragon, Elix Skipper & Jerry Lynn will all look to hoist the Fighting Spirit Title by the end of the evening. While these three men are still relaively new to BATTLE DOME, they have all proven themselves by winning a qualifying match to get to this point. Skipper took things a step further by recently attacking Dragon with a blackjack, but that only seemed to add more fuel to Dragon's fire as he hopes to become the youngest male champion in BATTLE DOME history at just 23 years and 8 months old. Conversely, Lynn would also enter the record books with a victory, as he would become the oldest champion ever at 41 years and 7 months of age. 'Crime Time' is not interested in setting records, as he has stated that he's only concerned with "makin' dat paper!". While all three men have their own motivation for winning, only one man will exit the ring with the championship, and a hefty paycheck as well.

Finally, our Main Event will determine the new Blood Sport Champion! As long time fans no doubt know, this championship has only been held by one man in the entire four years of BATTLE DOME, as the unstoppable, unbeaten, 'Chinese Colossus' Sun Tzu has put together one of the most dominant careers in the history of combat sports. In what has become an annual rite, Tzu once again vacated the title at the end of last year so that he might win it against multiple competitors again. This Sunday, he will get that opportunity as two unannounced wrestlers, The Patriot IV, Zulu, Mapleleaf, Low Ki, Mirko Cro Cop, Dan Severn & Masato Tanaka will attempt to make history by becoming champion in this No Ring elimination contest! Although there is the potential for all nine men to team up against Tzu, he is still the overwhelming favorite to once again wear the 18 pound championship belt! Tune in this Sunday night at 9 PM on PPV to find out whether history will be made, and remember to place your bets early and often, as a potential fortune is no more than a phone call or a few clicks of your mouse away!

Wow and damn. When I asked if this was worth reading in The Vault, I was seriously looking for an answer as it seemed to me to be nothing more than a pile of garbage wrestling ala XPW and CZW (peersonal opinion and no derogatory remarks needed or wanted please). I must now confess that this is one of, if not THE most intriguing and well written diaries I have ever encountered here in The Dome. I should have known that something like this from the mind of naiwf would rock to high heaven. He who has given us Alpha/Omega and WWF Oracle would not disappoint at all. I should never have doubted you, and for that i apologize.

I don't know what all to say, other than to mention my personal favorites as of this time.

-Sun Tzu may be the coolest character ever created for a diary. What a complete fucking badass. Anyone whose finisher is breaking another person's neck is too fucking cool for words. On the one hand I think he is fantastic, and on the other I hope beyond hope that he eventually loses. It's the same way i grew up feeling about Flair, and that is a compliment of the highest order from me, so congrats.

-The Patriot IV is nothing more than the genric All American, and yet his comments to the English crowd made me like him. I know he's American, and yet in my mind is the picture of and voice of Christian. Works for me.

-Your Brock and Eddie G. are utterly fascinating portrayals and versions of these well known characters. Perhaps Eddie (or Eduardo was it?) is just a wee bit higher up the mark out meter for me, but it was damn close.

-Last but certainly not least, I come to Crime Time Elix Skipper. What a fantastic stereotypical character you have created here. Elix could/would play this to the absolute hilt, and I had so much fun watching/reading him. Again, way to go.

Now excuse me, I have 20,000 Credits burning a hole in my pockets and need to waste them away.

(NOTE: I was going to PM this, but naiwf doesn't want anyone PMing him, so I'll ask outright...)

A question for the Watcher:

Has it ever happened that a competitor bet against himself and lost on purpose to collect a handsome salary, and have safeguards been enacted to make sure this will not happen?
