School project, I need to research three movies that include the theme of betrayal.

I don't want boring ones, nor ones that are to complex. Simple betrayal would suit me fine. So, what are some movies that include the theme betrayal?

I watched a film the other day called 'Gossip' which has a strong theme of betrayal running through it.

The new star wars movie, with Anakin turning would work.

Even though it's a sucky one, Rocky 5.

I'll probably think of more later.

Malice with Alec Baldwin, Nicole Kidman, and Bill Paxton. I don't want to say too much because it could spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but this should be at the top of your list. Very good movie, and the betrayal/revenge pattern is sexcellent.

Resevoir Dogs springs to mind. The fact that most of the movie is spent trying to figure out who tipped off the cops, and all the fingers/guns pointing makes for a good film on top.
